Wedding Junk Journal Cover ~ Tutorial
Salvage an Old's book cover and use it to construct your own journal. It's a simple way to upcycle a book and give to it a second life. In a future video we will get to use the pages of the book to make pockets and tuck spots for our junk journals. (Nothing will go to waste! Not in this craft room anyway.. )
We start by Upcycling Amazon's packing paper to add a first layer of texture to the cover. Then we cover that with gesso using a brayer and spatula .. drying each layer almost immediately to build our texture faster. Papers and fabrics decorate the front and back of the book along with lovely wedding themed, @Stamperiainternational embellishments. I love how it turned out.
