Wow. Megan looks so different!

My brother was meant to be getting married in Italy. They had been planning for 2 years, family from Canada, America, England, Northern Ireland all flying to Tuscany for this beautiful vineyard wedding. The wedding weekend was meant to be 29th May & now they have no idea when they can reschedule for. Obviously everything in Italy is a lot worse, so their venue has completely shut & they have to wait for it to be a bit clearer to start the conversation of finding a new date. But his fiancee is a doctor so right now her main focus isn't the wedding & they are upbeat about it saying the'll get married one day.

As a wedding photographer and makeup artist I have completely paused all work for 2020. I know this is hard for everyone especially those who had planned weddings. I would love to know what metrics you are using in order to determine weather or not to have your wedding. Like are you determining all that based off of what the laws and regulations will be at that time or are you guys basing it off there being a vaccine or other scientific things. Just curious as I am in Texas and our state is one of the worst to be in the whole world during this pandemic. I would really love to know how other people view all of this.

I completely understand the struggle. My wedding is in July and, there’s things we really need to do, but everything is on pause because we’re not sure if we’ll even be able to have the wedding right now haha. Even if there’s not a lockdown or stay at home order, we don’t know if it’ll be wise to host a big event right after the peak. We don’t want to plan and then unplan, like you said. If we postpone, we’ll most likely make it for the summer of 2021 just to be safe. We’ll probably make that decision in the next month or two but it’s just too early to tell how things are going to end up. This is not how I excepted wedding planning to go! 😂 (also I should add that I’m from Indiana). One recommendation I have is to join a social media group for brides getting married during the same timeframe as you. I joined a July 2020 Brides Facebook group, and it’s been really helpful to see what other people are doing for their weddings around the same time, especially during all of this craziness. (Edit: I just checked, and there’s some October 2020 Brides Facebook groups. Definitely check that out if you’re interested!)

I’m getting married on August 29. I’m praying I don’t have to postpone. We’ve already postponed our date to be further than we wanted it to be so I’m so nervous at this point . Hoping we get out of this situation as soon as possible. But you’re right, weddings are what we dream of, but so many people are sick and what’s more important right now is this world heals 💕 sending good vibes to all future brides 🌈💕🙏🏼

I am hoping to be able to get married on October 10th, 2020. We are also having a renaissance wedding! We have also decided that we might elope if we need to. When is your wedding day?! I also feel bad for everyone that has had to postpone or even cancel there weddings. I am still working at the grocery store up here in Massachusetts! We are still working really hard. Please remember to be nice to the grocery store workers. We are all really tired and working as hard as we can. Please be patient and kind. I will also keep yall in your prayers.

Pro tip: order groceries online! We've been ordering online from one of the warehouse stores (I think Costco) every couple weeks to deliver things like milk. Haven't even been in a car in 2 weeks. Both of us working from home and going on more walks outside (avoiding other people on their own walks) to get some exercise since it's been a LOT of sitting being home

We postponed our June wedding to September. Our venue and all of our vendors were so understanding and great about switching the date, and luckily all of them except our bartender were still available!

One of my oldest and best friends was supposed to get married in May. We're still hoping but it's very unlikely to happen. She most likely will get married but have the reception later.

Watching this in April 2021:) and it sadly did not get ANY better... we all were hoping for it so bad back in the beginning of 2020 omg....

My wedding is September 6, 2020... so far our vendors have all said to continue planning (none have cancelled) but we may need to cut the guest list to no more than 100 people (wedding will take place in Long Island, ny).. some people have either declined or have not written back in regards to their rsvp so we not even have to cut the list... I have my 1st dress fitting this coming Friday (July 3rd)... our venue is a large manor and only 1 event/day so we’re hopeful that everything will go as planned (just maybe without some of the guests that were invited) to add, we actually had everything planned by the end of last year before everything happened so we’re pretty much seeing what happens and if anything we’ll just cancel the big wedding and continue with our plans to buy our home and start our family I’m interested to hear what others with similar dates to mine are going through 💗

I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID-19. I will say I was very lucky and rescheduling my entire wedding took only about 8 hours. I got the call in the morning, got new dates from the venue of when we could reschedule, and emailed all my vendors to ask when they were available. I got so lucky that they were all available on multiple available dates. That same day they updated my contracts with the new date and called it good. I didn't have to really "re-plan" anything, which probably puts me in the minority. I hope your day goes as planned and all this is under control by October (and of course by April 2021 when my new date is haha).

I’m getting married in October too, but I have everything planned already and had several meetings I had to reschedule due to the virus. I’m hoping everything is okay too but like you said there’s just no way to tell ... I’m just trying to keep in contact with my vendors and seeing what’s going on but my ceremony/reception/everything venue is closed until this clears up so I’m basically just a sitting duck and it’s so frustrating. My advice would be to see what the terms are for cancelling or postponing with the vendors you already have booked. Good luck and keep us updated!

We are supposed to get married on July 10 of this year. I reached out to all of my vendors, and as of right now they are hoping to be able to still have it on that day. I wanted to reach out and ask them their protocol for if we have to cancel or postpone because we had our honeymoon cancelled. And they are not offering refunds. The company was bookit, and they have decided to not issue refunds for trips you have already booked. Lovely right!? Well we didn’t want that to happen with our vendors, and they all seem to be completely understanding. They have said they will work with us to find a new date if we have to postpone. I will say this has made wedding planning not fun at all. I have all the small details left to plan and I don’t have the urge to do any of it right now. It’s more stressful than anything. I feel so bad for all of the March, April, and May brides who were already affected so badly by this! Good luck to all of my fellow brides! 💜

My fiancé and I are deciding by the end of the month if we have to postpone our June 20th wedding. I do have a backup date and thankfully every single one of my vendors are available on that date. I have been planing it for almost 2 years but we don’t want to just elope because we want everyone to be able to celebrate with us. We have decided to do our backup in May 2021 as we are worried that the people that we want to come a lot of family from farther away being unable to come if we did it later in 2020.

Hopefully weddings will be able to happen again soon

I’m supposed to be getting married on July 7th 2020, (the same day my parents and my fiancé’s parents got married) in Italy 😔 my parents live in Florida so we’re just waiting until the end of this month to see if it’ll even be possible but I highly doubt it. I’ve been so upset, but I just keep thinking that there are more important things going on in the world right now. Moving a wedding date is a lot less important than someone losing their life. Nonetheless my heart goes out to all the couples who have had to postpone their weddings because it’s rough. Thank you for making this video, been enjoying watching your journey!

I work at a fast food place and I honesty hate it. We still have A LOT of customers coming in, even thought it’s just drive through and take out orders and we wear masks and gloves I still don’t feel safe. It gives me anxiety knowing I might potentially catch something and bring it home. I’m grateful I have a job but I wish we could just close. I understand that people might be at work all day and just wanna grab something quick to eat but it’s stressful. I want to be home and safe with my family. 😞

I was suppose to get married June 20th 2020 but we postponed our wedding to Sept 20th 2020. I am hoping and praying that restrictions will be a bit better and guests are not afraid to come to celebrate :( my venue is not flexible to postpone to 2021... sigh!!! So stressed 😭

We are currently postponed from June to September. I felt like June was just too close to all of this... and I don’t want to make people feel uncomfortable by asking them to come to a wedding! Hopefully by late summer people will feel more comfortable going. Obviously things will never completely go back to normal until there is a vaccine for this, which could be 18-24 months! Our venue gave us sept 5 and nov 21 as options, and I was a little nervous thinking about November just in case we get another wave of this in the winter!

I love my work, i work with mentally disabled people but this has been such a though, scary time

I am getting married august 29. I still have some planning that I needed to do but I paused on everything as well. I’m getting nervous on if we will be able to actually have it since things change so fast. I’m trying not to freak out but it’s hard.

My wedding is on June 13, and I’m leaning towards postponing. I’m absolutely heartbroken.

I'm currently still working and don't know how much longer it's gonna be like this. I'm a preschool teacher only around essential workers kids.
