Would be fine for responsible people. But someone who doesn’t care could damage your door (my opinion). The pressure put on this spot is high and if doesn’t pull hinges loose or bend them it could crush a lightweight door. Otherwise, good idea.
That's the point of it, it's a wedge for forcible entry. It is designed for keeping doors open in emergency situations, such as when creating fire and exit corrridors, and to delay the undesirable opening of doors during SWAT entry. Goes without saying that this guy doesn't know how to use it.
If you're tall enough to reach the top of the door, use it there, less stress on it. Mine broke using the middle hinge but still able to use it on top. Not good on hardwood floor position.
They work amazing on any floor you have to place it with rubber down look at the wedge one side the side with rubber goes down on floor ...best wedge I've ever used .....used 5 of them today In my commercial bldg.
Seriously cmon man ....ok take the thin side rubber down (so it can't slide ) and you barely have to wedge it under the door .these are great takes away the years of damage to door hinges over time this doesn't need to be kicked under the door the rubber holds just place it at the bottom no need to pull the door over the stop no need to kick it under door !
Great review of something that you have idea how it works, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!! I live people who just put out content for literally NO REASON!! Completely useless!!
