A strong and attractive joint, suitable for many applications. I'll show you how I lay the joint out before cutting and assembling it.
I've finished mine with a heavily pillowed through wedged tenon, but you could cut and plane it flush, or even make it a stub or fox wedged tenon instead (see my other joint videos to find out how to do those).

What was the type or name of the Oak u used? It's beautiful. The handles look like it's peeling off the door. That's so clever bro. I love it. I like that beading like look to the rails underneath the cabinet. It's probably not called beading but it reminds me of that type of cut on Doors u see cut using the router table or a specialised blades in a table saw. Did u build it all by hand? That's a stunning piece or workmanship mate. U have a real flair for this game. Best of luck to u and here's hoping ur channel continues to grow nd u continue to prosper from it bcos u deserve it putting out great content like these videos.

I think you were talking about the cabinet on a stand rather than this video, and in which case the oak was english. The figuring in the oak, due to prolific side shoot pockets (my description) is known as either 'pippy' or 'cats paw'. It's really lovely. The stand rails are rounded over, and the joints all cut by hand. The veneers were sawn on the band saw, as were the peeling door handles. Cheers for stopping by!

Interesting. I just did 4 of these for a project last week. They don't look near as good as yours though.

Maybe not, but I'm sure you improved with each one. Practice is the name of the game with joinery.
