I started to learn crochet this month, my goal is to make this vest in October, I fell in love with it since I saw it on Wednesday. Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Wow I really wanna make this! Last time I made your crochet fingerless gloves and I totally loved it! Your tutorials are so easy to understand and your voice makes me so calm, I’m going out to buy more yarn soon to make this hehe (I’m pretty young and you were my inspiration to start crocheting
Hello!! Thank you so much for this pattern, I love it so much! Unfortunately I'm stuck on row 2 :~( My R1 has 86 sts but when I complete R2, I only have 80? I'm doing 10+6+17+6+17+6+18 and getting 80 sts at the end. Can you please clarify/explain what I'm doing wrong? Thank you so much!!!
Hi Jen, it seems like you forgot the switch color stitches, so when you count everything together w the switch color stitches, it should be 11+7+18+7+18+7+18! To keep track of your stitches easier you can go to my website abocstudio.com and find the Alpha pattern of this project!
Hey, I love your tutorials, so detailed and easy to follow :)) Wanted to ask you, where is your ring from? The one you wearing on your middle finger Love Xx
Hi, you can find yarn info at 0:50. Also keep in mind that yarn category doesn't depend on number ply because ply have different sizes/types too. To find out category your yarn in you can use WPI method, follow this link: www.craftyarncouncil.com/standards/how-measure-wraps-inch-wpi
hey im currently making this design and i just wanted to let you know that the chain 86/96 doesnt work properaly and you only need 80/90 because when doing the rows after row 2 it doesnt add up with the reading guide and end up having quite alot of extra stiches. i dont know if its just me or i havent done it properally but i can assure you ive followed everything how yoiuve done it. thanks for this great tut tho
Hi Sarah 💞 on our first HDc row on the foundation chain, we work Hdc in the •second• chain then •each• chain across till the end. So logically, which ever number of chain you made, after first row you should have that number minus 1 (in this case foundation chain 87/97 and first row with 86/96 stitches) . Unless, the pattern tell you to increase/decrease somewhere, the number of stitches should remain the same on all the other rows to keep the piece a good shape. If you have more and more stitches on your way, this means you accidentally increased stitches somewhere. To keep track of your stitches easier you can go to my website abocstudio.com and find the Alpha pattern of this project!
Hey!! I only have a 5mm hook and a 4 ply/sport ply wool, would that be roughly similar sizing or will it kind of ruin the whole look do you think? I'd buy a different wool but I bought cashmere for the first time just for this best and now I can't return it 😭😭
Oh, I think it’s gonna be okay. It might turn out to be bigger than one using recommended yarn n hook, but the shape is still going to be good. If you’re working on L&Xl you can consider an down size to S&M one🧶💫
I think you can. It's gonna be a bit tricky and some calculations for the check pattern! You can do it base on this written pattern to www.abocstudio.com/free-patterns/woe-vest-crochet-pattern 💞
There's someone who also stucked at row2 too, she commented and I sorted thing out for her! I'll pin that comment on top of this section for you to check it out ☺️ If her problem is not the same as yours, don't hesitate to tell me! I'll help you in all ways I can 💞
