UPDATE!!!! Thanks to Sli Fox I got the object tracking to work. As I can see in the comments, there are other issues with the wireless system that I did not know about. I will test the tracking and sync motion and return with a video of what I think about it. THANKS FOR THE HLEP.
You haven’t selected ccs on the camera options... ( in gimbal menu) it’s in the manual!!! Seems only to work on iPhone as well android doesn’t have this feature...
Hey Peter, same problem with the Canon 70D. I’ve tried many times setting up and I thought it was a problem with my set up and connection, but I’m glad I saw your video and that thud is a universal problem. Great videos, keep it up!

I think you've never used an image transmitter in your life before. The reason you can't see your screen is not about Zhiyun. If you connect it in Hollyland, the image will not be displayed again. The problem is with Panasonic. Second, if you use the image transfer module, you will not connect to weebill s. You will connect to the module. The reason why you can't track objects is panasonic again. You cannot take pictures while in Video mode. You really made a video without knowing what you were going to use. First learn how to use the product.
Thanks for you comment. I really have tried so many times to get it to work. I have followed the isntructions and so on. I am no wireless expert, I just want it to work. With help for the commuinty here I got it up and running now. The object tracking works so it is not a Panasonic issue, just a setting adjustment in the gimbal. And yes you need to connect to the Weebill S to be able to control the movment of the gimbal with object tracking. If you do not connect to the gimbal you will only transfer the immage.
Peter, you can find the control joystick for the gimbal control within the transmitter itself, pls looked up into the upper left corner, where the LUT, info menu is, there's a control or some function in that section to do that along with the follow focus(if you have that module). I use Fuji X-T20, which is not even on the supported list, but Object tracking still working well anyway, try to disconnect the usb cable from the camera to the transmitter and use only with the HDMI connector. the downside maybe you can't control your camera with your gimbal - which i find its hard to do anyway. anw, the zhiyun play is bad, it's not very intuitive, take me a while when everything connected perfectly but no output on the transmiter section, i've searched for awhile, but luckily find out that i've to press the tiny "live view" button to have the video streamed to my phone. Another things is, maybe not for everyone, but the HDMI cable required for the transmitter is odd, which is Mini HDMI to Micro HDMI, it's relatively hard to find, not to mention the right lenght to use on the gimbal. And finally, my set is missing all the screw and the wrench, which is not a problem if i stay in my studio, but i received it on the go, so in no way i can attach the mount to the gimbal properly(well, Captain velcro and zip tie come for the rescue anyway.) Everythings work fine out of the box, but so frustrated if you don't find a way to make it work. This is the most frustrated purchase of mine recently.
@@SebastianBurkart luckily, i have a friend having one spare. Zhiyun also sell it, but it kind pricy. Or you can buy the adaptor from hdmi to mini hdmi
Thanks for you comment. I have had so many problems trying to get this working that I actualy did not want to even try any more. Just the whole hdmi cable thing is bad. But after posting this video someone had the solution to my problem with the object tracking and sync motio, so that works fine now. The screen still goes black on my camera, but it might be a panasonic isssue. thanks for you support
I have the exact set up as you and tried it on my android note 9 and 10+.. the trick i found to make the gimble follow my phone, there is a switch on the bottom of the screen where you adjust the sensitivity. There is a little off and on toggle switch. Turn it on and boom!!! It will track the motion of the phone.. Careful it is very sensitive. As for seeing on my phone and camera monitor i have not looked too far into it. But, will tell you if there is a setting on the phone to show both.

The wireless focus wheel does not work on my remote controller. It only works on the gimbal while the other controls of the device work. Please help
Hi just to let you know that I have a GH5 and have connected this to the image transmission system correctly and have had the object tracking and features working correctly. the only issue I have is that the screen on the camera goes blank as yours does. I don't manually connect to the transmitter by wifi as you have done or choose to connect to the transmitter on the app. Try this out just go to the app without connecting the transmitter on wifi then choose to connect to the gimbal it will ask to connect to the wifi in the app accept and then it should work fine and controls will appear. hope it works for you
Thanks for sharing this, I have tied it all, and it won't let me connect through wifi only by Bluetooth. This is the second device I am testing, and it will not work. It is not very reassuring.
@@PeterMakholm Perhaps you go another busted transmitter? I purchased the full kit which also came with the short hdmi cables (just no hdmi cable for sony cameras). I have noticed on your video that the usb cable going from the transmitter into the camera is not the same as the one I am using. Mine on the transmitter end is a micro-b usb not a full size micro-c usb. Try the cable with the smaller micro-b usb and not the one using the full port (whatis.techtarget.com/definition/micro-USB) hope that makes sense.

Weird I'm a GH5s and have object tracking working ok. My problem is when I hook up the mini USB to control the f-stop and iso on the app or gimbal it's causing the whole camera to freeze and the only way to stop it is to remove the battery. Peter how about you?
Interesting, no I don't have same issue, but when i have the wireless system conected I the camera control functions disapers on the gimbal. Only when conected to the gimbal alone it works. I can control iso, apature and f-stop.
@@PeterMakholm we have the best of both worlds. I can control the ISO and all that in the app or the joystick when using the image transmission system. Do you think it could be a setting in my camera that's causing the camera to freeze? Maybe the output of the monitor settings?
@@StellerJayFilms No I don't thinks so, if you can hook up a monitor directly to the camera with no problems, the setting is correct. Ohh yes, I also got an other problem. I can only start and stop recording once from the gimbal. Then I have to restart it . Ever tried that.
Peter Makholm holy shit balls. Sounds crazy your version. For now I’m just gonna forfit using all the controls while filming and just use the transmission as my monitor. I think the problem is these Chinese companies are in a huge rush to get their products out and are not properly testing products out before the initial release. Let us test first then get feedback later.

bro can i track object without the image transmission module on webill s? i am confused that which one shoud i buy. dji ronin sc or webill s. because webill has better payload but not better subject tracking. and ronin sc isnt good for payload but good tracking. one more question. is tracking very importent?

It says add a link, but when I add I cannot download it because I am wirelessly connected to the transmission and have no internet access...
Good to know, my Canon 7D works but I noticed that the view monitor on my camara turns off, yet my 60 D Canon does not turn off it could be possible that it's a problem, but I will check in other ways. Good luck hopefully by now a solution with the update works for you now,
Hi Peter, I own a Lumix S5 and also suffer from the issue whereby connecting the gimbal, camera and transmitter all at once causes the screen to go blank. I also strangely found huge lag and stutter in the transmitted image which led me to return the transmitter. Have you found a way particularly with a regular field monitor to connect all three at once?
Hey Peter, have you figured out how to add LUTs to the ZY Play App (w/ Weebil S Transmission Package)? I've tried doing the SD Card Mass Storage option --> it crashes my ZY Play App. I've also tried doing the Download Link option --> it keeps saying "Download Failed"
I have Panasonic G9. Just got weebill s and have spent a few frustrating days trying to make transmitter work. Here’s what I discovered so far... 1. The W s pro kit comes with so many cables it’s easy to get connection wrong. 2. Even when you think you have the right cables, if you don’t see Zhiyun_tech_xxxx SSID, you may have it wrong. 3. Try a different phone or tablet to connect. My Mac can see the SSID, my iPad can see it, my wife’s android phone can see it, my Huawei android phone CAN’T.

With A6400 ... setting is working perfectly once u choose panasonic and standard micro usb cable...wired and strange idea but it works....thanks for the RU-vid diggers
The Tablet i wanted to use as evf cant even find the wifi of the Transmitter but my tiny old Smartphone can but its to small to use as a evf. I now only can use it to Transfer Data which is pretty nice but the setup with WiFi etc is not easy at all
Also it doesn’t work with the Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II. If I put both cables I get a red LED on the transmitter. Is there anybody with an OMD and working transmitter?
tengo una omd EM1X y tengo los mismos problemas. En mi caso tengo el Transmount Video Transmission Transmitter AI. Tengo el Weebill S. Conecto el cable USB al Transmount, conecto el cable HDMI al transmount. Conecto el cable USB del transmount al weebil S. Una vez hecho esto, enciendo el gimbal, enciendo el transmitter, enciendo la cámara. En El caso de la m1x hay que poner la cámara en modo Thettering. Abro la APP, me conecto al transmisor y me dice que hay fallo de sincronización. Apago todo, desconecto el cable USB de la cámara y dejo solo el HDMI conectado. Enciendo todo, conecto y en este caso en la APP me da un aviso de que no se puede acceder a los ajustes de la cámara, le doy al modo Live View y tras una eternidad se enciende. Pero no veo el vídeo en tiempo real se ve todo en negro y únicamente me permite ver los vídeos ya grabados que hay en la tarjeta de memoria. Estoy muy decepcionado con esto.
I'm having similar trouble with the Canon M50. I had to buy an extension for the HDMI cos Canon are clever and they put it on the other side of the camera. They also put it too close to the USB connection so surgery was required on the leads to get them to fit together. Connected it all up, but wouldn't send signal to (android) phone. Maybe I should try again but I think I'd just be best off selling the transmitter.
Things are no longer as bad as first appeared. I'd not been using the right combination of leads, but Canon have still clearly let the side down by having cable ports on the wrong side, using HDMI micro rather than mini and having them too close together. Having watched your tutorial video again I realised I hadn't connected the lead that connects to the SS-USB symbol on the transmitter (I thought it was just for Sony (from official Zhiyun video)). This lead turned out to be another that wasn't long enough to reach the camera port BUT if I fitted the camera backwards it worked and I got a clean image on my phone. Which was progress of a fashion. Then I came across a video by Gabriel Zota that he'd posted on the Facebook Weebill Group page, where he uses the transmitter with a camera but not the gimbal. By using a rig, I should be able to secure the transmitter into a more convenient location and so might be able to bring this saga to a close. I

I have a7iii and all of sudden mines won’t transmit the live view. 🤦🏾♂️ I updated the firmware on both my crane 2s and image transmitter. I ordered a new hdmi hoping that’s the issue. But I’m wondering if I have to get the 2.0 version
I hope I get some help here? i have got the transmission transmittert 2.0 and run into two issues. First was the app on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro. For the 2.0 version you need the newest app version - therefore you have to allow the installation, it is rated unsafe by the smartphone. Next problem is the HDMI connection, there is no input. Changed the cables, all required camera settings seem to be right. Solved some issues. You need a new smartphone like the P30 Pro with the "unsafe" version of the Zhiyun app. The transmitter 2.0 cannot handle the 4K data from the GH5, there will be no input. It works with 1080p, but that is not an option for me. Tracking an object is not possible, in any mode. I did not figure it out. The latency is very high in opposite to their promise, ugly. My conclusion: I will return the transmitter 2.0, because it is not working with my GH5 as I expected. I cannot recommend it in combination with the GH5.
The black GH5 screen seems to be a problem from the GH5 with HDMI and USB plugged in and unfortunately it looks like there won't be a fix for this: forum.dji.com/thread-161257-1-1.html
We all seem to be having issues. I can't get an image on the Pixel 4, but can get an image on the samsung tablet. Even though the image cuts out every now and then. (Further testing required I'm new at this) And yes, Finding a Mini to Mini HDMI cable is a bitch, had to get one from New Zealand for my Nikon D850 (Getting a Z6 tomorrow) It's all fun and games, but frustrating.

Im sending mine back as the iso, aperture and shutter does not work with sony a7s3. All other functions can be done on the gimbal without transmitter. Very disappointed with product. Id rather see from viewfinder on camera than phone.

The transmission module SUCKS! I am too small of a youtuber and such a tech newbie, HOWEVER, I'm about to make my own video about the so many frustrations with this set up. The list is large! I shoot with the SONY 6400 and I have similar problems. The camera screen goes black and then the transmission image on my phone freezes and it just doesn't work! I also don't get access to the icon that you don't get access either. I have been so looking forward to this as I film by myself but this is nothing but a failure. I have been emailing with Zhiyun but the rep seems clueless.
Yeah, it is so frustraiting especaily when you shoot alone. I got it to work with help for Sli Fox. Please check that you camera setting on the gimbal is set to CCS. That was the problem i had. But the screen still goes black wich I don't like.
Peter Makholm it is on CCS but it continuously freezes the image, black camera screen and when I get it to start to follow me it suddenly stops. Oh and the focus can be a problem as well... I’ll keep playing with it and see. Thx 🙏
I have all of the same issues with a Canon 6d mk2, so it may not be a GH5 issue. I notice in this video, ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2zXwwp8jkDA.html ) when he goes into the webill s section of the app, he gets a video feed without having to switch over to the transmission module of the app, which is strange. I lose the ability to use the screen on the back of my camera when i plug in an hdmi cable, but i think it's because the camera can't handle sending 2 video feeds (one to the back screen and another through the hdmi cable). I don't think it's the fault of the transmission system.
