Im so sorry for your loss 😞.I quit delta 8 almost 8 months ago and i had a very terrible abstinence, i quit that thing because it cause me a very bad panick atack but the abstinence was terrible, i had the most horrible and vivid nightmares, cold sweats, anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, lost of appetite, nausea etc and until now im still with some depression 😢😢😢 but i trust in God this going to pass soon 🙏🙌
You can thank the Donald Trump administration who passed the FARM BILL under section X which allows the sell of cannabis at a THC percentage of 0.03. Which thats not the problem, it became a problem when shady companies started infusing that 0.03 percent of THC with other chemicals to make it more potent. Who knows what these companies are adding to the vape pens or bud. If you know someone who grows their own stuff just buy it from them.
@hvz0078 Congrats on 8 months of sobriety and thank you for sharing your experience with Delta 8. Joshua’s last major psychotic episode was from Delta 8. I’ve heard it can take from 6 months to a year to recover from the harmful effects of Delta 8 and marijuana concentrates so hang in there. God will absolutely be with you through your recovery. ❤

I had marijuana induced psychosis last year and almost died while in Costa Rica. My brother had to come get me and when I got back to Florida, I cashed out all my savings and blew it all on stupid shit and lost my job and destroyed my credit. I am lucky to still be alive but now I have to deal with two arrests and debts out the ass. I am diagnosed bipolar and depression now. Psychosis is very real, it changes who you are and makes you do crazy shit!
Daniel, that’s so interesting about cashing out your saving and spending it on crazy stuff as Josh did. My son did that from the Delta 8 psychosis. The fact that you are aware that marijuana harmed you is a huge step in the right direction. Give yourself time to heal. It takes about a year of sobriety to recover from Cannabis induced psychosis. I am very sorry for your loss. I do also have to mention that synthetic cannabinoid derivatives like delta 8, thc-o, delta 10, etc. are not the same as naturally grown cannabis flower. They are cannabinoids chemically converted from cbd, making them synthetic. Vapes contain many chemicals and depending on if your son got the vape online or from the black market it could have also contained vitamin E which converts to a very toxic compound when smoked or vaped, and has been connected to many illnesses and deaths. Even if you get vapes from a dispo they could be made of cheap materials or the testing thresholds could be too high and you might be ingesting toxic chemical solvents, heavy metals, molds, etc. I personally have gotten dabs from the dispensary that have caught on fire and smoked like a gas kerosene lamp meaning there was a lot of solvents left in there and i was probably smoking mostly petrochemicals. These isolated cannabinoids are not the same as naturally grown flower.
Thank you . I agree, Josh smoked the flower throughout high school and never experienced psychosis. The vapes / dab pens is what caused the psychotic episodes.
So you know what's up w these additives in flower from dispensaries? Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, chlorine!!??, sodium, sulfur, Iron magnesium, copper, zinc molybdenum... listed on prerolls and flower. I was told the chlorine may be the white paper on the roll. I disagree.
This is from the perspective of a former pothead, the farm bill was a small step in the right direction but so problematic. Marijuana needs to be taken off the schedule 1 list because it would prevent millions of Americans from becoming alcoholics by providing an safer alternative to "numb" the brain. But you're right, chemically converting CBD to THC is just messing with mother nature and the side effects can't be good. What's needed is a comprehensive national law (that our incompetent congress would never pass) that legalizes weed with several safegaurds. Vapes and waxes should not be allowed. They're either toxic or too concentrated.
I know people who have smoked exclusively weed and experienced psychosis. I’m sure the majority of the population might be fine smoking regularly and even daily. But there are some that should absolutely never touch anything like that again. This is giving people a false impression that it was only the synthetics that was the problem. Regular weed can be quite dangerous. And now it’s genetically modified like crazy and stupidly strong, the pesticides used to grow it, you are inhaling. You trust those labs to sell you good product? Or the most modified and addictive product possible to skyrocket your tolerance and keep you buying?
@@LOVE.Begins.With.LThey have to list what additives they used in the soil. All of those occur in nature but they have to add them during indoor cultivation. There is a 2 week rinse cycle that pulls those from the soil before harvest but because regulation it has to be identified in the cultivation process.
😊 I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing your story my son started at 16 you know and I was really worried because you know he's had a lot of trouble and his dad died when he was little his dad was suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar which was undiagnosed and it turned out that he died from he had a brain tumor that causing these organic symptoms to have hallucinations and all these things but of course Kaiser they never did a scan or anything and they just let him go they didn't have the message out they didn't even have any Spanish psychologist and give him a prescription for medication and then there's no medication and the medication hasn't just spaced out nobody's handling it and he's going along with nothing is fine I'm over here freaking out I work for protective services and I know a lot of things so I got scared I had a 2-year-old so I had to leave he ended up getting deported acting all crazy going to Mexico and then 2012 I got a call that he's dying he's in the hospital nobody ever diagnosed him or anything but he was dying here tumors in his lungs and in his brain and he had like an hourto live I was so pissed off because we won't know till this day if you really had sex with schizophrenia symptoms or was it the brain tumors causing all these symptoms and hallucinations auditory olfactory hearing things seeing things so that's that's it you know Kaiser what they should always do is just do a brain scan on these kids we'll see what if they have THC and cannabis it has to be that that's the only thing in their system why are they laughing at this you know I used to think I argue with my son that this is not marijuana man I was a stone in my whole life I never had a high like this I never had to pick up these things it's never been so concentrated that you feel sick and nauseous and I know I didn't know he was smoking because he never left the houseand one day he finally leaves the house and his friend gets shot on the drive-by shooting has a lot of social anxiety already PTSD and I'm telling therapist this and I'm working with people and I'm a psycho therapist and then have to myself used to work with victim of crime I worked with social services with children it was a court worker for DCFS I mean I'm experienced plus I know what it was being a kid and and all the stuff that we went to the but I never even went right on acid filled like this marijuana he had a lot of problems I could take her to the doctor I could take him to the emergency you know he was just that's racing and then he started hitting me and trying to control the situation and breaking things and acting crazy and same thing the cops would come I will call you know the the psych words the way to come out and assess them and you know 515 with him one time they did come to the hospital they assessed them and they said you could take him home but just keep him away from nives like what the hell he was just being bad he didn't like school he couldn't sit still he couldn't pay attention he wouldn't do his homework and then my Grandpa would always you know keep him away from me and be like oh your mother this and that and this you know and also that's a lot of trouble and then I got in a new relationship which was my dad was manipulating him with that and all these things so he felt like really abandoned and he would be jealous really jealous of other kids he's very insecure he always had social anxiety but he's
Keep up the good work. I am an ex cannabis grower for over 12 years, smoked weed for 20 years. I deeply understand the culture of weed. It is extremely bad for society. I hate that I ever grew weed. You need to target the culture behind it. rappers like Offset, Wiz Khalifa, Lil wayne, snoop dogg, berner. Those are the ones making it cool. Im attacking this industry hard now for the rest of my life.

Yep 100 percent. This new 25% thc weed and dab pens have never been available like this in history. This is available on every street corner, This generation is the lab rats of high thc indoor weed
He did become addicted to marijuana and dab pens were so convenient. He became so depressed so he smoked more. It’s that THC concentrates, Delta 8 vapes and gummies sending so many teens and young adults to the hospital or death.

Renee, I wish I had a simple answer. For starters join support groups such as Every Brain Matters and Johnny’s Ambassadors. These groups were my lifeline as I desperately searched for help and information on how to help my son. Doctors in Texas are clueless on treating CIP.
Keep telling him it is the Weed Psychosis that is causing his breaks! He has to realize what is causing it before something awful happens. For me it was getting arrested that finally woke me up!
Thank you for sharing Joshua’s story. As a Christian and whilst watching your video and hearing your faith, I questioned God as to why he didn’t answer the family’s prayer. The Spirit Of God quickly corrected me and said that The Lord did not lose the battle and that he’s in Heaven with The Father (even before it got to the end of the video when the Mother testified the same thing!). The Spirit Of God said that Joshua is resting in the beauty of Gods image; and as the creative which he was; he is capturing Gods beauty and in worship free from the torment he faced. So very sorry about what happened. And thank you for speaking out about this problem which could easily cause the downfall of our country. There are so many people in government, the entertainment industry, and the media who normalize this madness and should be placed under the jails.
I know you prob wouldn't agree with this, But I personally think its vital now more then ever to teach kids drug safety knowledge in school. Just like sex ed. Just cause someone learns about a substance dosnt mean they will use it, Tho they may have the knowledge to save someone if needed with learning this. There mom's, dad's, brother's or sisters.
This is very sad but drugs are not responsible for the harm done to people, taking them Irresponsibly is the problem, staining the reputation and stunning progress in this field of study as well, same goes for guns! Sad but he was 100% aware of what he was doing and he decided to continue consuming drugs even beyond the point of his 1st AND 2nd psychotic break. I have no empathy for his decision making, the same would go for an adult playing with a gun beyond the point where the gun went off twice by accident and the third time it comes out gushing thru the back of his skull. Prohibition is not the answer because not even God himself will determine what goes and does not go in my body and I know many people like me that would go to civil war to stand by that statement. Also the Government closes one door and 15 more will open up,they will never be able to keep up. WE NEED TO PROVIDE HARM REDUCTION EDUCATION AND SAFE SPACES FOR PEOPLE TO CONSUME THESE DRUGS BECAUSE THEY WILL DO SO UNSAFELY EITHER WAY. Alcohol is far more dangerous in large quantities. Self control is the culprit in these instances. I've been smoking pot for 15 years I've experienced psychosis but it was because I was consuming WAY to much.

Lose the background music. Its hard enough to hear them talk with these low quality microphones. I had major psychitic break from weed as well. I did abuse weed flower for 1 month. Quit for 2 weeks, and I wasnt eating for 2 weeks and thats when I had a major break. My psychosis was also very religious tilted, but I believe i was got temperarrily possesd by something very evil. I felt that shit land on my like a black, WET blanket. I felt so evil and I tried to shake it off, but I couldnt. Then my fan turned ON in my darkly lit living room. I paniced, Tried to turn it off. At this point everything went foggy. Was in police stand off for 10 hours, almost got shot. Almost shot my neighbor. Very dangerous situation. I was lost in a different world and didnt know what I did until months later. Almost diedi in the hospital as well from negligence. I dont trust docs/nurses at all.
“Pay attention” to what Jose Garcia? My son was using a legal product that is marketed as safe and “medicinal”. My son was an adult, living independently when he had his first psychotic episode from using marijuana. He had to move back home after his brain was harmed by marijuana.
There's always some root mental problem that leads to substance abuse. Healthy people don't run away from reality with the assistance of drugs. MJ shouldn't be available to kids or young adults without prescription, it is a drug, a medicinal substance. -------- Don't blame weed, educate people about it and raise mentally healthy kids.
Guys plz listen to this whole vid I was only 17 when I almost died I’m 18 now one day I was just sitting on my bed smoking my pen and then Boom chest pain and neck pain came out of nowhere had to go to the hospital for it idk if it was because I was a heavy smoker and just smoked not exercising and eating wrong but and I love my carts and disposables but I had to stop it’s very tempting to go back, I thought I was gonna leave my mom forever….
when people experience anything different in their life and dont like they always blame on the substace they use bc its the easiest answer. feels better for them than just not knowing. but you simply cannot have a heartattack from weed^^
@@wefgengneon it’s the same thing as needing a substance everyday to live life. The addicted person always thinks they have control. “I can stop when I want” but in reality the substance has the control cause person’s mind will find any justification to stay on the substance.
He was always sent home on antipsychotics from hospital. The longest he stayed on antipsychotics was about a month . He was switched to an antidepressant which worked so much better.
My son now has been sober for a long time, but at the time he lost so much. At first antipsychotics I felt were necessary even though it took time for his body to adjust then finally I got my son back thank God. He’s finishing up his degree and is so remorseful for his actions.
