Australia knows exactly how to Eurovision. They were invited in 2014 and since 2015 they have been taking part of the contest. I think this specific entry, represents exactly the concept of Zero Gravity, I can't imagine a better staging. So memorable and epic. Fun fact, during the shows the hosts always says "good evening Europe, good morning Australia" because at the time of the show in Australia is already the next day, in the morning.

The thing is that she is not getting tossed around but that she stirrs the sticks with her own movement so it's even more impressive imo.

Ahah just so you know the reason Australia was invited is bc they have been broadcasting Eurovision for the past 30 years, USA only started recently and i think Canada did it once or twice😅this performance was bananas and solidified why we need them at the contest❤

Australians are nice, they take our european jokes with grace, they wake up super early in the morning to watch eurovision and, most importantly, they treat Eurovision with respect. And we love them for that. I'm not sure if americans would do the same sometimes 🤨😂 but jokes aside, I love your reactions of eurovision content!! Please follow eurovision 2024. You won't regret it. Ps. Is true that lot of Americans don't now anything about the contest, and sometimes they can be american-centric and they say things like "i don't understand the lyrics so i don't like it" but true american eurofan are the best of all eurofan in my opinion, they have the best podcasts/youtube channels, the best takes and they are soo knowledgeable about tje the contest. So you americans are great in that, when you are passionate about something you go big, and you do it right!! God bless America 🇺🇸 I guess 😂

So now that you are already Eurovision fans, did you know that the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place next week?? The semi-finals on Tuesday (5.7) and Thursday (5.9), and the grand final on Saturday (5.11) at 21:00 European time. For the first time since you started reacts to Eurovision songs, you have the opportunity to feel a real Eurovision experience and even vote for the songs you liked! (Since last year, all the countries of the world that do not participate are allowed to vote and everything is pooled to vote in the name of "the rest of the world"). And maybe even take a video yourself reacting live to the show and the songs? That might be a nice idea. I don't know if the Eurovision is broadcast somewhere in America but I'm sure you can find a way to watch it 😁

I really appreciate how one of you focuses on the vocals of the singers while the other comments on the production aspects like stage, cameras, lighting, etc. It's a perfect balance! Keep up the awesome work!👍🏾

The kind of core strength and stability, and discipline, that you have to have to not only control your movement on those springy sticks, but also sing staccato soprano notes in-tune at the same time ... when I saw that performance live, my jaw was on the floor and I was TERRIFIED that something was going to go VERY wrong. My mum (who has many years of experience singing as soprano in a choir) had to leave the room, she was that nervous for Kate! I voted for Australia that year.

Personally the best Australian eurovision entry is by Dami Im, "Sound Of Silence". I also really loved "Promise" by Voyager.

When you know she wrote this song about her recovery from Post Natal Depression it becomes much more meaningful. The lyrics, her soaring voice, everything conveys the elation of coming back into the light.

This still made me smile so bright. The way you don't know whats happening at first and then they really defy gravity and everything makes sense. Beautiful beautiful stage and song!

Australia's flavour at Eurovision has existed even before we started competing. Some Australians have competed in the past for other countries: Gina G (UK), Olivia Newton-John (UK), Jane Comerford (lead singer of Texas Lightning Germany) and of course Mr Eurovision himself, Johnny Logan was born in Australia. It's so good Australia can stand there in their own right now.

Aussies just aren't the typical ignorant islanders like the Americans are 🙃 They know what's going on in the rest of the world. They were the biggest Eurovision fans for decades, while you had no clue about the existence of the worlds biggest annual music event. This was Australia's first entry, and they got second place. Canada isn't part of Eurovision, but Canadian Celine Dion once was. She represented Switzerland, she won, and that kickstarted her career as a singer 😊 I couldn't resist teasing you a little bit, but I really love your videos 🇺🇸 ❤❤❤🇺🇸

As someone who lives 1 1/2hrs to the west of Melbourne, it is a good city to visit, lots of things to do but to busy to live in for me. You guys should come in January and watch the Australian Open one year, i go nearly every year.

The broadcast of this really didn't do the performance justice. I was in the audience for Kate's Semi performance and it was mind blowing watching her and her back up dancers move on those podiums - extremely impressive so it was sad to see she didn't get that demonstrated on TV
