Welcome to week 21 and 22 of our 2024 travels.
We love cruising, and we have just returned from a cruise to Vanuatu on the Carnival Splendor. This video is part 1 of 2 and shows the ship facilities and activities we did while on board. Part 2 will be the next episode and will show our time in Vanuatu.
The Carnival Splendor had its maiden voyage in 2008 and can carry 3012 passengers. We did notice the dated interior and a few broken decorations that didn't affect its use. The ship was hard to navigate at first. We had to make sure we were on the correct elevator and staircase to get to our location.
The ship is a great family ship. The kids loved the Camp Ocean Kids Club, and the activities made it fun for our whole family. The kids loved the watersilides, miniholf, and ping pong. If you want to escape the kiddos, there is an adult only area as well. Overall, it was a great trip.
