Welcome to my weekly series of memory keeping in my 2023 planner. Today's video not only takes you through my page assembly, it also takes you on a detailed look at my new craft studio! I've always wanted a pretty, peaceful space to create in and now I have it. I'm excited to share it with you today and hope you enjoy it. I'd love to hear your comments.

Oh Annette...I LOVE all your organizational ideas! For the last couple of years, after my breast cancer surgery and treatment, I have totally lost my crafting "mojo". Watching your video sparked my interest again in getting all my supplies organized and "de-crapped"! Thanks so much for the ideas!

You think of everything! I would have never thought of cutting the letters to keep them even. As usual your attention to detail is so great! And that studio!!!! What a fabulous space. You are so deserving of it. I am in the process of getting a shed renovated and getting my workspace changed. My plan was to have separate tables/counters for different purposes too. Seeing yours gives me the confidence that I am heading in the right direct and I will definitely stick to that plan. Thank you for letting us into your private space. You inspire me always 😊

Wow Annette! What a lovely craft room. I was ambitious once, painted it and had a vision. Then Covid hit and my dream space doubled up as craft/office. It’s become an organizational disaster..lol. Slowly but surely I am getting it somewhat organized, but unless my office files go somewhere else, it is what it is. …..now where did I hide all my ephemera ? 😂

We have this 4-foot Cosco ladder that I always use to drag out. I guess I didn't need it that often, so it didn't bother me too much. But this little step stool is the best! hahaha

LOVE your fabulous new Studio, Annette!!! Extremely well organized, inspirational and very inviting. I agree about light fading colored card stock. While it's beautiful to see the rainbow of colors out in the open, it does fade quickly. Decided to store mine in an old four drawer metal file cabinet - safe from fading, cat hair and dust - LOL!! LOVE your week 32 page - super cool idea with the folding photo frame at the bottom. Sorry, but I had to giggle when I saw the swivel closure was too close to the frame.... I did the exact same thing on the "Lovely Day" page in the Summer Planner. Since I now have to bend the flap to open it, I refer to it as my "secret" journaling spot - LOL!! Thank you so much for sharing your weekly journal pages AND for the GREAT tour of your new Studio. Lots of wonderful ideas, tips and tricks to help in our own creative journey❣

Great tour - and brilliant corner solution for random tall thingies! Very inspiring. I'm reorganizing my 'studio'/ dining room [10' x 11' with 2 doorways and 3 North windows] for the next 6 weeks [during my September birthday month]! Thanks. Mine can get junky too, especially when I'm really busy preparing for classes. I do try to tidy up when I'm done at the end of the day and this seems to help control the chaos. It's a habit I've had to force myself to get into. I want to feel content and happy when I walk in my studio, so this is my motivation. I'm happy you found my space to be inspiring. Loved your page layout with Esther’s new release. Your studio is awesome as I knew it would be…lol. I love your neat and tidy storage and I know exactly how being organized and space efficient is useful especially when working with small spaces with lots of stuff. I have a very narrow and small craft desk with Ikea shelves above with lots of canvas storage bins and storage sleeves storing my stamps. Your closet with lots of vertical storage another plus and my vertical closet storage goes completely to the ceiling…and yes I use a stool to reach too….lol. Thanks so much for sharing your new dig!! 🥰

So jealous! Love all the clear containers. We have found out our lot will not be ready to start building til October!!! I’ll be journaling outside of our travel trailer for about 8 month more. Great way to organize so many paper crafting supplies. Thanks for sharing

You inspire me to pare down my supplies...I'll keep the smallest scrap of paper (and other things) thinking I will use it someday...15 years later, I still have that scrap! Although, I did just use a button on a card that I have had a lot longer. I remember your move from Florida and how you had to make some tough decisions. I am a diagnosed Graphic 45 hoarder! Is there hope for me? Love the pink and green, and especially the curtains.

It's so hard not to be a G45 hoarder! So hard. But I do find that once I get past that feeling of panic when I sell some of it, or give some away, I am totally okay and don't miss it. I've kept only what I hold the very dearest and what I WILL truly use. It's not doing anyone any good sitting in a bin. Use it, enjoy it, and you can always get more if you really "need" it.

Yes, I almost always stand all day. Occasionally I will sit when my back or legs get tired, or if I'm churning out a bunch of die-cuts for hours and hours. I tried to stop every hour and stretch, move my legs, and take a break, so standing doesn't bother me too much.

Great space!!!! So organized!!! Nicely put together 💜 On your page, pretty sure I would have cut the letters! 😃 I cut the ecd oranges pages and then cut again and glued all the little pieces back into it 🤣 sometimes what some think tedious, others find calming 😊

Yes, I almost always stand. But when I'm doing a lot of die-cutting for classes and such, I do have a stool I pull in from the kitchen. Or I lower my Flexi-table and sit in a comfy chair. Thanks for watching again this week. I'm so happy you enjoyed everything.

I love this room. You had many details but I have one question. What is the size of your working desk? I’m going to be moving my craft room from basement to main level. I’m going to be needing a lot of things. It’s overwhelming. I use a plastic table right now and it’s bowed in middle and it’s Ugly too so it’s gone. I’m just curious on desk size. I think I’m very close to same age as you. Now here’s one that will blow your mind. I’ve never ever moved! It’s a long story but yes I live in same house I grew up in.😊

Hi Joyce and thank you so much. My working desk is 43" long by 27 1/2" deep. About the size of a small kitchen table which is originally what it was. If you sit to work rather than stand, an inexpensive small table would be ideal. You can find them everywhere. I find that it's more about shelving and places to keep things "off" the desk that is important. Never moved? Well, just know that it's a lot of work, but worth all the effort to start fresh and new.

Hi Barbara, I think you're speaking of my glue bottle stand. It's been printed on a 3D printer by the fine folks at Scraps of Love in Arizona. It has a little catch tray also for any glue drips. The glue is my Aleene's Super Thick, so it's great to store upside down in the stand like this.

I like the Craftopia ones from Amazon. Here's a link: a.co/d/02zWohb Make sure you mount the magnet to sturdy chipboard, not too thin or flimsy. That seems to help.
