Hello
Today i will stuff for the month and my week 1 and play a few challenges. I also claim to be gardeners world for 2 mins while showing a dubious shaped butternut squash that i grew last year and am planning to have for tea. 😂

That butternut squash 🥰🥰🥰 I love them. Roasted butternut squash soup is one of my favourite things to make and eat. Me and the little one love it. Whoop look at that squash (wanted a squash emoji but there isn’t one 😂). Those £5s a week soon add up. It will be nice if you can save it for the year. It will give your budget such a boost at the end 🩷. Looking at the colours of your sharpies I feel like I am missing some 😂. Maybe I need to buy some 😂. 😂😂😂 i am glad you didnt put an aubergine instead 😂🙈 , aww thank you Michelle, the fives really do add up , yes i am hoping to start 2025 with them, you gave me the idea of course ha ha my biggest inspiration- i think i will feel good , starting off 2025 in a positive way unlike the rest of my life , swimming in debt after xmas - hopefully things have changed , we will see ☺️. Aww i love the christmas trackers you made, i will be downloading the cat one too when i have chance ☺️. Ha ha it threw me too and i did it! 😂😂😂 i did wonder whether it looked abit dubious actually but you only live once so i went with it 😂😂😂😂 , you could try some tomato seeds or herbs on your windowsill, i know you have a lovely sunny room with loads of light, it could be worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️ . Awww please come kaye , just jump on that train straight from london to manchester! You know you want to 🙊☺️🥰 xx 💕💕

Aww thank you ☺️💕💕💕 butternut squash is worth a try. Its good to make soup with or chopped and put in a casserole or my favourite is cut in half length ways and stuffed with anything you like , but i like it with mince beef, onions , herbs and then of course topped with cheese- roasted 😋☺️💕💕

Amazing that you grew that squash!! ❤ iv tried growing things but it all just dies; I’m atrocious for gardening. This year I’m just trialling a wildflower patch where I drop some native seeds and try and keep them alive and if successful I might try salad-y items next year because I spend so much on salad rn due to my medication & it just constantly makes me crave salad 😂 xx

I could do with craving salad rather than cream eggs 😂 ( not to undermine your medication of course xx) tomatos can be grown on the windowsill if it gets abit of sunshine, cucumbers are a nightmare and can take over ( alot of plant for a few cucumbers if you know what i mean) but lettuces and rocket and things like that are really just chuck in soil and they will grow. Some lettuce is really good as a “cut and come again” so you cut the outside leaves off to eat and then keep doing that each time you want some and they will keep growing all spring/summer. Wildflowers sound wonderful ☺️ I am really quite bad with flowers , i can grow fruit and veg but not flowers. Not sure why. My theory though is , a seed wont grow at all if i dont plant it, but if i do plant it …. It just might grow ☺️ 🤷🏻‍♀️ xx 💕💕

@@cherryblossombudget haha I do love a good creme egg tho!! XD and yeah it’s annoying but definitely worse things to want to eat constantly. And ooh yeah, we do get a lot of sunshine in the summer (24hr daylight) but Oct to Feb there’s almost no daylight haha it’s a bit annoying tho as we can get snow in May/June which just ruins it all haha but I am going to try and not kill all the plants this year 😂😂 xx

24 hours daylight sounds amazing but the extremes of the same in darkness does not sound good at all , i dont know if i could cope with that. Unless i could hybernate , i bet vitamin d deficiency is a huge issue jn the winter. Oh i could live off creme eggs and cheese ( not together 😂 cheese first, finish with creme egg ) although i doubt i would live very long 😂🙈 , i hope you have a good day ☺️ xx 💕💕

@@cherryblossombudget cheese is the best. And yeah there is so much vitamin D deficiency here that they preemptively put all kids on it from 1yr old bc there’s literally not much light at all during Oct-Feb

I wish I could grow my own veg. I can't even look after plants or flowers 🙈 I have never had butternut squash, but it sounds and looks good. Love the 35 envelope challenge 🩷

Thank you for watching and commenting 🥰 butternut squash is good to make soup with or cut up into pieces and put in a casserole, its nice as a side dish , cut up with spices and roasted but my favourite is to half lengthways , stuff with anything you like and roasted ( topped with cheese always 😂) . I can grow veg but flowers i have trouble and house plants are a no for me! Its weird 😂☺️💕💕

Yes of course , its a meet up of people in the budgeting community , for everyone. It is being held in manchester on the 1st of june and there will be stalls there and talks happening but mainly it is so everyone in the community can meet ( like minded people) tickets are on sale at the moment , if you would like to know more if you go on instagram and look for @thebigbudgetingmeetup , you will find all the information.
