Week 49: 90s Boy Bands! #3 - *NSYNC - Tearin' Up My Heart 

I want a full *NSYNC week so bad! They had enough music videos and live performances to do either or both.

I love how JC's verse cuts to shots of Justin after singing "lovers" as if he's singing about him lmao, this video is so boyish and homoerotic omg.

Chris' counter tenor voice and harmonies don't get enough appreciation. He really brought their harmonies to the next level. Any song that Chris had solos in are fire 🔥 he should've had way more.

J.C was the best from this group. He was the first lead singer in this song. Best singer and most energetic dancer of them all.

Love that you both appreciate NSYNC’s dance moves. If you want to be really impressed by their talent, watch their Maddison square garden concert, it’s INSANE!!

The movie was no strings attached, weirdly sharing a title with an nsync album/song...

J C Chasez sang the first verse solo. He and JT usually switched off on verses of all of their songs. Other members are Chris Kirkpatrick is the high tenor, Joey Fatone is the one I think you thought of as Ross from Friends, Lance Bass sings the low bass. Band was started by Chris who was told by Lou Pearlman if he got the band together, he would back them. Chris knew Justin Timberlake. Justin knew J C Chasez from Mickey Mouse Club days in Florida. Joey was a friend working for Universal Studios, and they needed a Bass, Lance Bass was suggested by JT's singing coach, so they gave him a chance and he worked out great!
