Qualification: When we talk of ONE MARK in this video -
One mark applies when the clearance mark is less than 5 boat lengths from the weather mark because an overlap cannot be established in the 4 boat length zone of the clearance mark(after rounding the weather mark). If the clearance mark is say 10 boat lengths from the weather mark then there is room to get an overlap before the 4 boat length zone of the clearance mark and therefore the clearance mark is a separate mark.
