Even though shakira is well known in the US she is not as big in the US as she is all around the world. She is one of the most loved artist around the world. She even speaks 7 languages. It still amazes me how much US people don’t know about shakira that is general knowledge anywhere else 😊

This song has so much meaning for us Argentinians, She wrote this song with Gustavo Cerati who is like the biggest rock star that came out of here (he passed away several years ago) and well the song is a really beautiful balad. Fun fact: you can heard a men saying "no" at the end of the performance, it is Gustavo's voice ❤

Shakira is a true artist. She writes produces and performs her body of work. Those aren’t flags, she performed the Isis wing dance, the rods are clipped behind her dress, you can see them from a side angle. The studio version of the song is beyond majestic.

To this date this is my favorite shakira live. And sometimes it's really sad to see bcz she is underrated in US compared to the rest of the world. I mean US people think that she only capable of shaking her hip,. i living in south asia and she is huge in here and i also know she is even more popular in Latam and Europe

This song was dedicated to a guy who 7 or 8 years earlier, when she was 17, had written a farewell ballad song called Anthology, in which she thanked him for all the good times and told him that with him she took off from the cement her shoes and learned to fly, the man left her and 8 years later when Shakira was already a star he tried to get back together with her and well the answer is this song called NO😅 This story was told by that old boyfriend in an interview with the Colombian press

It's sad that most people don't know this side of shakira, she is way more than a bellydancer. If you saw her Unplugged performances you would be even more blown away, this is just tip of what is she capable of :)

If you were amazed by this you should react to La Pared. She's just sitting down next to a piano, but she knocks your socks off just with her voice. Other impressive ballads from her are Antología, Inevitable, Tú, Underneath Your Clothes, Illegal, and Antes de las Seis. Inevitable is my all time favorite Shakira song, and hers too because it's the only song she played in every concert. I don't know what others songs you were planning to react, but you should react to at least one of these two. La pared or Inevitable from either the MTV Unplugged or the Oral Fixation Tour.

I don't know if either of you have heard her song, "Antología" but it's beautiful and definitely well worth a listen.

This is one of my all time favorite performances of her repertoire. The lyrics are incredible and her voice here sounds magnificent. I only wish she performs this song in her next tour(whenever she goes on the road again). I think this was the last time she sang this song on a tour. 10/10

In the performance, at least for me, she tries to symbolically revive with the wings of the dress, that memory or sensation of "being able to fly" that she felt when she was with him, but it is useless and self-destructive, you cannot get off the ground and fly with a Dressed as yourself, you cannot revive a dead love that is already part of the past. Shakira is a great balladeer, one of the greats, they should review the song Antología, even if they don't react publicly to the song, it's a beautiful song
