i´m so jealous of everyone's school system. I live in Germany and we can´t pick our classes. We get a timetable from school and we HAVE to take the classes. Also we don't have such cool subjects as drama, just the normal (math, biology, english, ...)
Take it from a current IB year 2...IB year 1 was the worst year of my life on record and I came back in September and suddenly year 1 seems like a breeze. Just sleep as much as you can sis you’re gonna need it.
This honestly looks like such a good high school experience, even though you're in IB. It seems like your school schedule differs from day to day? that sounds so refreshing lol
@@rebekahsharp853 the US is honestly so weird, in my country you have completely different days. We don't even get out of school the same time everyday.
I’m an ib year one student as well, just know as your internally dying from the overload of work and lack of sleep, this sad little Wisconsin gal on the other side of the world will be suffering with you 👍🏽❤️
@@ShashaDivine you know what it really depends on the person/teacher. This is my first time ever learning business who I need a lot to catch up to which makes it quite stressful for me. My classmates on the other hand have been studying business since they were in the 7th grade (I'm a new student fyi) so it's easier for them. And what I meant by teacher is how they teach. My teacher is... sorry to say... a little boring. I don't usually sleep in class, but this teacher somehow manage to make me sleepy everytime. The way he teaches is just not for me, I guess. Not for a lot of others either, it seems. Anyways, IB is really stressful and can lead to students being unmotivated because of the amount of pressure the programme gives. There's a lot of work to do so all I gotta say for you is good luck and just be ready. Unless you're taking half IB. If you are, then also be ready tbh.
You can do it!!!!!! For all those who are doing the IB, I know it is difficult, frustrating, I am in my first semester of IB and it has been incredible and hard, I just want to say that all of you who do it, just try and if u fall, try again. .. IB Student from Mexico
i’m from singapore, but i’m a local and am taking the IP programme in my school. it’s just so fascinating to see how your school and programme works compared to mine especially since we’re residing in the same country HAHAHA. i love these kinds of vlogs! do keep them coming :D
bro it's so weird to see school from like the youtube perspective 😭 you're a legacy to us now Hannah everyone's talking abt how you made it as a youtube ALSO THE FACT THAT I WAS IN G6 WHEN THIS WAS TAKEN
I'll be taking Ib after summer and honestly I'm so grateful that in my country we have this pre-ib year which makes it a lot easier to study when the actual two ib years start :)
@@xella3525 Dude same. I honestly have no clue what I'm going to do for biology. I think I'm just going to try and remember all that I can and just wing it cause my brain can't take knowing everything about history and biology
It's only been 5 months in IB and I've never been this stressed my whole entire life. I feel so dead inside 😔 I can't wait for December so I could at the very least relax a lil xp
Idk if this is just me but from the video these classes seem pretty normal for me. I don't take anything insane in high school just some AP classes but this all seems like a normal day for me. I mean there's a constant "end me please you'll be doing me a favor" vibe but nothing crazy. I don't honestly know if it's because my high school is extremely vigorous when it comes to just normal classes but what do I know.
yo i literally study at a school a road down your school’s campus, and damn i feel the stress you are going thru a few months back oof.. just finished my GCE O lvls tho! all the best with IB! you can do it:))
Genuinely felt for her and felt the anxiety and stress like I'm not even in school right now but I might as well be with all the emotions I just went through
girl im in IB y2 (in the states! it's cool to see other ib students across the world lol) and this is a total mood. so glad that i'm about to start semester 2 of y2, most of the hard stuff is over (except exams), and i got into college, hallelujah!!! hang in there, you can do it!
I'm in the IB too, but in Japan, and I just have to say your school looks AMAZING compared to ours. AND you get to order lunch/ go outside to buy food?! That's really bloody amazing. Also, we have 7-8 periods a day and it's VERY tiring. We finish classes at about 4:30 pm. I'm so jealous you have free periods... I've been to Singapore once for a school trip and I loved it. This video made me wanna go back :( Anyways, great video, really enjoyed it
Francesca Fantini it means international baccalaureate. I’m not sure about all the details, but I know it’s where you take rigorous and difficult courses, sorta like an AP class but not.
I am also doing ib (first year) and, oh boy, it is the worst. You have a constant workload and it feels like the only true relaxation you are going to get is during the summer break. I am always tired and on the verge of crying. But other that that everything is fine.
Hi I’m from Singapore! People are really talking about how ib is death,,, actually here ib is considered easier compared to the a levels, and many people say that ib is actually the easy route if you don’t want to study that hard. Maybe it’s just because our education system here is more stressful....
