This might be an unpopular opinion but I much prefer watching people's daily lives than super 'interesting' content. I almost never watch holiday vlogs as it just makes me feel jealous and want to go on holiday lol. It's nice to watch other people just living their normal lives. Plus, your videos are always the most aesthetic regardless. 😊 xx
Michelle, please know that mundane does not equal boring! I love seeing your daily life and hearing what's on your mind as if you're a friend. This was not boring at all!
don't think it's boring at all, i live for the more realistic/at home "mundane" vlogs, and tend to steer away from influencers that are too much into travel, etc that just isn't realistic to most people especially in this economy! i love your at home vlogs 💛
Who knew a laundry chat would make me cry!!! I was already crying right when you started talking about family. Im not very close to my family. BUT!! I love them dearly. When I do see them I embrace every minute of it and cherish it. Because its rare. When I have my own kids I hope that my own family unit is close and our kids will want to be around us!
The laundry chat made me teary-eyed. I totally relate to this. I have a twin brother that joined the marines two days after high-school. He has lived on the other side of the country for 6 years now. Staying in touch throughout adulthood will never be the same as sharing every meal and riding to school together. Reminds me to appreciate the precious moments of the life I have now.
It’s been such a joy watching the different eras on your RU-vid journey Michelle. I’ve been a subscriber for about 8 years and your content has never failed to bring me such peace during every era of MY life. 🥰
Going to the gym with childcare literally changed the game for me. It was so great to socialize my son and also give myself a break during the day to work on my health! ❤
Siblings can be such a blessing! I can't talk for everyone but I have a sister and she's my best friend. I know that no matter what, I will have my sister beside me. I'm happy to hear that you have a beautiful relationship with your siblings Michelle ❤
Michelle I love these casual , relaxed videos. Just like you are just talking to us individually, so sweet! You are so right about how time flies . It is really crazy!😃 Thank you for another wonderful vlog!
I am bawling at your laundry chat! I’m also turning 26 next month and I’ve been pondering the same thing. I got married 7 months ago and it’s been such a blessing but I definitely miss my family and think about the time I’m missing since I don’t live with them anymore 🥲
I have been watching your videos for a while now and never commented. But I wanted to let you know how much your videos inspire me! I find myself enjoying simple tasks more. I am more mindful and appreciative of the simple things in life. Since becoming a mom myself three months ago, your videos have touched my heart even more. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Happy birthday! Also I love the sibling and family talk at the end; I think it'll always feel nostalgic for childhood, but the great part is you can build your own family and have that dynamic from a different perspective.
Watching from the beginning to the end every single one of your vlogs for a while now & I’m happy to report that your content and skills evolve amazingly so do your talks, reflexions and chat so don’t think they’re boring. Red looks incredible on you and personally loves the magenta dress 😂
Michelle, your videos are such a comfort all the time and I *finally* started my YT channel to hopefully do the same for other women 🥹 thank you for always being such a joy!! xo 💛💛
aww the laundry chat made me cry especially now having my own son. He is 6 weeks old and it's so true the days are long but the years are short. I don't know where these past few weeks have gone. Some days have been challenging as I learn to be a mom but I love it and it will be hard to go back to the office at 12 weeks. I'm soaking up all the cuddles and small moments with him while I get to enjoy all day with him.
I love your laundry insights. I am one of four sisters, we were born in the span of 1968-1973…5.5 years!!! Family was a priority for us & still is. Next to being a Mom, my next favorite title is Aunt (my oldest nephew is turning 25 this month and is in a phD program)!!! My Mom died when I was 20 years old & my youngest sister died in 2017…both from ALS. These life events have altered the person that I am & have made me double-down on time with family. Life is a precious gift & is surely not to be taken for granted. Time > things.
You’re such an amazing person ❤ new momma here 7 weeks pp and I’m getting strength and encouragement from you’re blogs hopefully things will settle down more as my LO grows 🎉
Love you so much queen thank you for sharing for having this corner of the internet and being so opened with us . My heart is with you in these life moments where we become nostalgic. Happiest of birthday !! God bless you with many many happy and healthy more 🙏
Michelle, trust me your going to find the strength now that he is getting heavier!! My daughter is almost 5 and she of course still enjoys going into the grocery carts and when i lift her to put her in, I am humbled so quickly!!
I love your final thoughts … I have a newborn and share the same thoughts on creating a home where he wants to be with us. Thinking of him growing up brings me to tears 😢
Kristen John's chocolate chip recipe is amazing! My chocolate chip cookies are famous among friends and family now since I started using her recipe! The RU-vid video is several years old now, but I just wrote it down on a recipe card and use it all the time
Tearing up during your laundry chat because every word is so true🥹 I'm the 4th oldest sister in a family of 9 siblings and I'd say we were all pretty close growing up🥹🩷 you truly just don't realize how special the years at home with them are, until you no longer live with them🫶 I feel like there are very few things that are sweeter then the bond that naturally happens between siblings. I'm forever grateful to have been lucky enough to experience it🥰
Hi, Michelle! I’m a new follower and found you on YT as I’m 8 months pregnant. I’ve been a ball of nerves thinking about how I’m going to juggle life after our baby comes, but you make anticipating that journey so much easier. Your videos bring me such peace, and I’m so thankful for your content! ❤
Hey Michelle! I can relate to your feeling. I have 2 sisters (im the midle child) and my entire life was build around the fact that I'm their sister. They are my best friends. It's been 2 years and a half since I left home to study, and the more time goes by the more I realize how much I miss having them around. I miss knowing everything that happens in their life, I miss just living in the same house and having each other to talk to whenever we wanted to... Now I'm almost graduating from uni and planning on getting married, which means that I'll be moving to another city, further from my family. It kills me to know that I'm missing their life and their little things... I hope we can all live close to each other again some day. Also, your videos makes me feel like I'm home, I have been watching your vlogs since you were in high school and I was a teenager at my parents' house 🥰
aww I hope you had a fun birthday! 💛 my baby girl is almost 9 months and she really doesn’t like the church nursery so we have to hold her while in service! It’s not ideal but we will try again soon- just in case that happens for you at the gym. I tell myself there will be a time when my baby will grow up and will BEG to go play in the nursery or childcare room & I’ll be the one holding her tight 🥹🥹
We waited until our daughter was 14 months to try having her in our church's nursery. She's outgoing though and LOVES it!😅😊It's so cute watching her play.💝
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!!!!! I love your videos, and I’m glad God created you. May God be with you in the next beautiful, wonderful, and special year of your life. God bless!
Can you do a video about pregnancy/labour/baby books you've read and would recommend? I really think we would appreciate the same books and it is so hard to pick out of all the options out there! Love your channel ❤
Loved the laundry chat and the stories you shared! I feel the same about missing out on moments in my siblings lives. My sister is 11 years younger than me and about to start her freshman year of high school in Austin. 2 years ago my husband and I moved to Frisco for his job so I feel like I miss out on so much of her and my brother’s lives because I don’t see them very often 😭
My 13 year old daughter is the baker in the family. She’s truly gifted. Of all the chocolate chip cookies she’s made, my favorite recipe is the one on the back of the chocolate chip bag I get from Costco! 🍪
Happy (late?) Birthday Michelle! Love your day to day vlogs the most. ❤️ Our son's are growing too fast haha. That mat looks super comfy. Is it washable? I have been looking into somthing like that since my son has been crawling, climbing, pulling to stand and then moving to other things while standing since he was 6 months and wants to go everywhere. I hope he slows down on the milestones and gives mama a break! Oh and for that teriyaki sauce, you should try the kokoman (same brand) takumi teriyaki sauce. It's a similar jar but the label is purple. It's a thicker sauce with sesame seeds and so gooood, you don't have to add anything to make it taste sweeter or better.
Nice video Michelle, always feel excited to see Cash 🐕 such a sweet pet. Want to wish you & Aidan & all the family a fun happy 4th of July 🇺🇸🇺🇸☮🍓 Happy birthday wishes 💐
Oh girl! Best cookies trust me. Use the nestle toll house cookie recipe but replace with the butter with one pack of crisco. Cut the cooking time short but 2-3 minutes and let the bottoms finish basking on the sheet. They are the most amazing.
I love your red maxi dress in this video!! You look so beautiful in that color and it's so festive for the season, as the 4th of July rolls around! Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!!❤️💙
Check with your pediatrician. When my kids were little it was recommended to wait until a child is two to start peanut butter. It was determined it helped in preventing an allergy to peanut butter.
Hey MR! The detail you put into your vlogs make it so it doesn’t feel like just any ordinary day. I have an 11 year old now! So, watching these makes me remember those times when he was a little. Happy birthday! And hope you have an amazing July 🇺🇸. Andee
Hey Michelle, Your family sounded so special to grow up in. 🥰 Do what works for you and your family now. Build those bonds in the way it works for yall. It may look different than how you grew up, but the bond will be there, and your children will know that. We prioritize on making sure our 3 sons know that mommy and daddy love each other, and now that our boys are 15, 12 and 9, Jonathan & I, make it a point to go out once a week together, even if it's just a Walmart run, we're having fun interacting together. With my boys, I make it a point to have one on one time with each of them practically every day. Even if it's not long, I check in with them. But I know their interests and try to plug in with them there if nothing else. Plus, I try to speak God's truth into their lives, individually, as God directs me. Every now and then we eat together. But I feel our more bonding times are just when we're hanging out together here and there throughout the week. I got to be a stay at home mom for 12 years, when my sons were babies up until my oldest was 12. The best years ever, though they were difficult and hard to navigate. It was a very rewarding and memorable time. So special. I'm so so thankful for where we're all at now, though. It's definitely easier in a lot of ways. Keep training up your son and future child(ren) in the way they should go, and you'll reap a reward sooner than later. I mean it's starts showing or paying off when there 15, 12 and 9 😉. God's many blessings to you and your family!❤ Happy Happy Birthday!❤❤❤ Take time for you🌺🧁 Thank you for all you do for these vlogs!💞
Time does go by so fast... too fast! I wish it would slow down a bit. My son will be 6 months old tomorrow. He is my first baby. I just turned 39 in June. I go back and forth whether or not I will try for more babies. Either way, I know my time is coming to a close as far as having children. Those years in my 20’s and 30’s went by so incredibly fast. I’m enjoying this season as well, but of course it would be nice to turn the clocks back ❤
I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I’ll share my secret ingredient for chocolate chip cookies-a tablespoon of Carnation Malted Milk powder! It’s on the baking aisle.
Michelle, I have the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe! My coworkers all go crazy when I make them and bring them to work. It's a hand me down recipe in my family. Can I send it to you in a dm?
Ooof the years are so short. I FaceTime my sister pretty much 12hrs a day. I was thinking the other day about the last time we were all in the same house for the last time we probably had no idea. Having big kids now. My son is 16 and daughter is almost 21 I’m trying to come up with traditions that can last once they move out. This is the one thing I hate about having kids young. I’ll be 40 this year and my oldest could potentially move out. I’m not ready.
