Very interesting talk in the middle of the video, didn't get to watch it all but I agree with the points about learning frontend development and how to code being a good help towards knowing the limitations of ux/ui design. It's good that you're willing to learn more and more, good luck in your software engineering career.
Of course!! Yeah I love watching these kinds of vlogs because sometimes the jobs are so different from the courses you take, so it’s great to know what you’re getting into beforehand ☺️
I really love your snippets about the UX work! I'm currently working in Graphic Design and we did a unit on UX/UI design. It seems so interesting but also abit challenging as we did learn a bit of code. I was wondering, would I need to have like a degree or credentials in UX/UI to pursue it further? As I will only be graduating from Graphic Design. Love the video!!
Thank you 😊 That's very exciting! I would say you definitely don't need to have a degree specifically for that. Your background in Graphic Design will definitely be very helpful in getting you a job in the field. The most important thing is your portfolio! Have some projects on there that show your understanding of UX with detailed case studies. Hope that helps!
