WEEK OF EASY LUNCHES | REAL LIFE SCHOOL LUNCHES FOR KIDS 

I think all of the kids lunches looked fine, sometimes with little ones the simpler the better. When my mom tried to do anything really different that was when we would get finicky. I would have loved the chicken noodle soup in my lunch box, usually I just had a sandwich and a few little sides. I have to say your homemade bread looked delicious, soft and fluffy, I can say I know why Jacob thought it was delicious. The kids got some neat new water bottles, Audrey's was very pretty and feminine. Poor little Audrey at the end, I know you'll find her some sunglasses soon. Loved the lunches. Especially Audrey's new water bottle-it is spectacular! Please let her know that when I was a young girl I would have loved that water bottle. Love your days with one child. I used to do that too- a 'Mommy and Me' day. We'd go shopping and for lunch. They would get to play loads of video games, bake cookies and eat cookies and just lounge around. One fun thing we did was go to a dollar store with $5 each and split up (i'd stick to the front of the store to make sure they didn't wander out -besides that's where the candy was that I bought for them). Then each of us would have to buy the other a present we think they would like for under $5 and then surprise each other outside of the store. One year my youngest bought me a bouquet of pink fake flowers. I still have that bunch of flowers in a vase on my sideboard-such a special gift

Love that idea of getting a day with each kid once or twice a school year ❤ I hope I remember that once all my kids are in school! Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 I enjoy seeing what other kids have in their lunches. I run out of ideas lol. Pogos today for lunch. I figured it's something different with a small container of ketchup & mustard and cheesecake. Chowder tomorrow in the thermos with homemade buns. I always keep fruit cups and apple sauce for when I'm low on fruit also. Comes in handy. Eclipse today, hopefully everyone will get a glimpse of it.
