As a Samus main and former Falcon main, this is actually cool as hell. If a Samus is well aware of this option, they can probably wait out the air dodge accordingly, but it still open up a lot of mix up opportunities for Falcon to get in. Can't wait to see how much this influences the Falcon-Samus MU
I don't know why but I love this lol. I guess part of it is because Falcon is this flashy character with aesthetically cool looking combos, so just seeing him do this goofy looking option that can be optimal in certain situations is pretty funny to me.
Bro thank you so much, I wanna get my falcon into elite but there’s hardly any falcon tutorial videos besides the basics. You’re doing gods work keep up the amazing well informed videos!! YES!!!
You DON’T need this to get into elite. At all. Literally all you need is “the basics”. Fundies first kids, if you aren’t in elite and you’re trying to learn these silly little niche techs, you’re doing it wrong.
@@DocRoc94Agreed, if anything focusing on stuff like this may hinder you more than anything. This is advanced, for those clowning on people in Elite not those trying to get in.
0:35 I'd like to point out that Cloud isn't set to up-B OOS there. He's *dropping* shield (+11 frames) and then up-Bing (7 frames), that's why Falcon's jab is "safe" in this example (-11)
Ledge jump opens up a few other options, I covered them in the ledge mixup video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d67ROAGMJds.htmlsi=rRugTxP4ro3R6NL5
dudddeee the potential is crazy. I usually avoid characters when coming off the angel plat with a full hop air dodge, if i can implement that into my offense...... sheesh
@@jrad6589 that's called an IRAR. (Instant reverse aerial rush) Where you (after landing and using an attack in the air) press the L button on landing, to cut your ending lag in half. (Ending lag is where your character becomes impossible to hit because they're considered invulnerable)
