That’s rare nowadays kids outside playing climbing trees. I was good at getting up but getting down is another story. My brother would have to get me. Also, those kids speak better English than I do!

yes, somehow it feels like UV lights are stronger here because the sun is too close to horizon!
@ and if you add low humidity and some wind, together they can be a serious challenge in winter. But each spring after darker months it always seem to become as a surprise and I find myself out without shades..
@ I have a friend from Finland, she wants me to learn but maybe in a few years if we are still taking. Russian is hard enough. Swedish it has its challenges and possibly French again.
Hmm. You mentioned immersion, which can help a lot and make learning faster. But it seems she hasn't really done it. I have the impression that she has used mostly English at home, work and studies, but probably also in other situations. I suspect, and have personally experienced, that immersive learning benefits and works better with real immersion.
@@MDobri-sy1ce But, doing all that using one language and also in real life situations giving you the extra motivation is immersion, an effective way to learn after you have learned the basics. I for instance studied English at school for many years, but only after working and living in English only environments I started to feel becoming more comfortable or fluent producing (speaking and writing) it. Reading and listening was easier to learn without immersive experience.
