Just joined the Brook Miccio family (you’re channel has been my lockdown haven). I realize I’m 7 months late but if its any use regarding suggestions for decor: I’d suggest turning the huge wall close to the washing machine/dryer into a gallery wall. If your landlord will allow, maybe paint it a nice mood color like a deep blue and hang up huge art pieces. I may also suggest adding a big rectangular mirror against the wall where the bar area is with a wooden console just below it with minimalist decor on the console :) Happy decorating

I'm breaking out in the exact same places as you (sides of face and chin) which is the hormonal area! I just switched my birth control and I know you mentioned you did too so that definitely could be it. My dermatologist told me to wait like 3-4 months (which is actually the most annoying advice ever) and I should be good. Just wanted to let you know I'm in this with ya and I'll be stocking up on Mario Badescu for the next few months, yay fun times :P

The liquor store story is so funny because the same thing happened to me! I was at the liquor store in my town with my brothers girlfriend who is 23 (I’m only 19) and the guy asked for both of our IDs at the counter. When i told him i wasn’t 21 he was like “Yeah sorry i can’t sell this to you guys.” When i wasn’t the one buying or even holding the alcohol! just went for the ride. And then he told me that next time i should stay in the car. LOL i thought i was the only one this happened to.

The ID issue happened with us! We were in Mass for the weekend and my husband didn’t have his wallet, we literally were just making a quick beer run....they didn’t sell it to us, we’re in our 30s! Lol

For your skin check if what you’re using has fragrance. I highly recommend Lancôme for foundation. I’d stop using all of the oils and what not for like two weeks and just use a dove sensitive skin bar, exfoliate with a brush twice a week, and use moisturizer. My acne was really bad on the outside of my face too and this pretty much cured it.💗💗

Hey Brooke I always look forward to your vlogs 🥰 I love watching them when I’m cleaning, getting ready, or getting stuff done around the house! I also deal with skin issues and I never got breakouts until my early 20s. The only thing that has helped me is the Drunk Elephant line. I use the bar soaps and moisturizer and I honestly don’t even wear any foundation or coverup anymore. It’s pricey but so worth it for the results. Just wanted to share. Hope you find relief soon!!

for your makeup brushes try using dr bronners peppermint bar soap instead of shampoo! i found that using shampoo was making me breakout + the peppermint soap really cleans and disinfects your brushes!
