Well….that car ride conversation. Your husband sounds like he’s a minimalist….that’s a strength!!! He’s humble sis and that’s how he is like he said “he’s there” he expresses his excitement differently….that’s who he is. We can’t change people he may compromise some but that’s him. Yes!!! My husband is like that, 41 years of marriage. Jerard wants the best for you and that is how my husband is with me. I just tell him what l want and he says OK, no excitement. I love the vlog! I’m going to share with you as a very experienced 27 year married woman, to my BEST friend, please appreciate Gerard’s different perspective. It took me some time as I matured, to appreciate my husband’s viewpoint. Gerard is very subdued, laidback and classy. He is similar to my hubby although they are not as vocal & energetic like us, that’s all good. Like the Bible says we are a compliment to our husbands. Your personality compliments your husband’s too 😉My husband isn’t very high-energy which is good. He has an incredible sense of humor & can make me laugh at the drop of a hat & he being a God-fearing man, he lovingly helps me to think through challenging situations with a level head. I’m so grateful we’ve grown up together. I love seeing you on your journey & how much your hubby dotes on you and supports you. 💕🥰

You already have a twin Mary lol. And even as twins, you’re not exactly alike. His way of bringing the same energy is being present and supporting you in your aspirations and desires. He doesn’t have to “appear” to be excited to be excited lol. Men aren’t wired like us. They respond to things differently. If he was complaining about your desires and the way you get excited over things, that would be the issue…. Mary, I have a son who's chill like Jerad. You can't tell if he's having a good time until you ask. Men and women are so different. I asked my brother to go shopping with me and he said, I'd rather pull a tooth🤣 The moral of the story is to love one another by accepting our differences. Mary, I'm with ya! It is awkward when someone asks if your hair is yours. I think they should compliment and keep it moving. Sometimes I've said it was (because I paid for it). That's okay, just enjoy life. My sister and I went to Ross yesterday and my sister said you get so excited about shopping. I got so excited about finding a beautiful blouse $6.49. She love cooking. I would never spend the money she spends at the grocery store but I think nothing of buying a $10.00 biscuit at Maple Syrup. It's wonderful being different. You're made for each other!!!

Lol. This was the first time I saw you guys at it like this. But, I get what Jerard is saying. People just express excitement differently. My husband is the same. He's very chilled and he doesn't like to get excited until something actually happens. And sometimes I see it as lack of faith but he's just a realist. But a marriage is all about embracing each other's differences. Men generally tend to take things easy and not stress the little things. Women are more detailed oriented. Love this vlog...the hotel is gorgeous, I am from Dallas Tx but I live in Fayetteville NC...my husband was the exact same way...I was always over the top excited..and he was always low key..we were married for 40 years...he was retired military..he got sick and passed away in March of this year..We have five adult children and 10 grand babies from 5mos to 19 years..You all are such a beautiful couple..enjoy life

Jerard reminds me soooo much of my husband. He is super low maintenance, he jst does not get excited about anything other than Jesus and Football. im so bubby, happy and endlessly excited. We hv been together since out teens years and now in our 30s, he still the same. Its used to bother me but now its actually the very thing i love the most about him, we even joke about it, that i am the start and he is the manager, i am the fire that boil his water and he is the water that cool my fire🤣. Trust me Mary, you do not want 2 fires in the house. Be blessed💞

I loved your vlog. I always enjoy your content no matter what it is. I love how you and hubby balance each other. Keep being you and allow him to admire that about you. About the person who was intrigued by your hair, remember you are an influencer, use the opportunity in your favor to build your brand and to network. You can allow the hair to market what you do as an influencer. When asked about your hair or clothes, just drop your social media handles on a business card on them..
