This weekend I am FINALLY taking my NCLEX to be a licensed nurse in my new home state of Florida!!!! My birthday is also this week and the only birthday gift I want is to pass this exam! I studied abroad in Italy for a summer so I have some advice for packing!! The Sam Edelman sandals are perfect! My best friend wore those all summer bc she said they were comfier than any other shoe she brought, and you won’t feel the need to wear sneakers with every outfit. For clothes, linen pants are perfect too! Anything breathable is my best advice bc it can get hot depending on the time of summer you are going! And you’ll be walking A LOT so the comfier the clothes, the better!

Mother’s Day brunch! My grandma has been a part of our Mother’s Day traditions for my entire life. Unfortunately, this is our first Mother’s Day without her as she passed 2 months ago. This year it will be extremely hard to carry on, but I know she wouldn’t want us to loose this tradition❤️

Saturday is a full day of softball and t-ball and Sunday is my daughter’s soccer jamboree. The joy of watching my kids stay active and enjoy this time with their friends is what makes the chaos worth it. When I was little, my mom would bring flowers for all of us players to hand out to our moms on Mothers Day so I have carried on the tradition and will be bringing flowers for the girls on my team for Sunday.
