Weekend Warrior Boat that won't break the Bank ! (Key West 239 FS) 

Picking mine up Tomorrow, Brand new 2023 239 FS, t top with yamaha 300hp, trailer, bait tank option, factory 4 speaker stereo (coming out next week, a new wet sounds system going in)twin GPS, Twin 10 foot Power poles, Trolling Motor, VHF, porta potty, front seat filler cushions loaded... Out the door it was right at $120,000. Most evpensive thing I have ever purchased, my house for 100k 30 years ago... So excited cant wait for this weekend to try it out...

Just a few years ago this was a 60k boat. I remember going to boat shows and seeing sea hunt gamefish 25’s with electronics and trailer for 85 out the door. Boat prices are insane and why I’m buying used trucks and used boats.

I just watched a video of a guy struggling to back up the boat to launch. The dude was trying for a while. Glad to see it in the water dude!

We've had our 239 for a little over a year now and love it, just a few weeks ago we went about 20 miles offshore and caught a couple nice 15 to 20 lb grouper, very sturdy and capable boat for that 20 to 30 mile range.

It just blows my mind how much boats prices have increased from say 4-5 years ago.... I will just wait till it all comes crashing down and buy them cheaper. Nice video tho (high thumbs) 👍

Love the walk-thrus Alfred. I got hooked because of the Black Point Chit Show but your channel has everything, always so entertaining and informative!

This year I was looking at the Key West, Sportsman, Tidewater, and Seahunt. In my opinion the Key West is the best if you're doing a lot of cruising in the intercoastal or going to sandbars. I say this bc of the amount of room you have in the back of the boat and it has a favorable layout. I don't recommend buying this boat if you are wanting to play in the open ocean and fishing as the gunnels are very low, and it's a wet ride. Open Ocean / Fishing / Bahamas = Tidewater Sandbar & Cruising = Keywest Sportsman and Seahunt are both in the middle of the 2. They don't do anything great, but they do both.

I actually bought the pervious version of this boat when we moved to Florida last year, its been a great boat. Being from the Midwest, I do miss the massive deckspace of our Sun Tracker Pontoon Boat, but this is fast and fun and cna go on on the ocean. Plus we got great money for our Pontoon, and used it as a Down Payment on a Key West, great video and great boats

Wow that's quite a price tag I remember I could've bought every house in the neighborhood for 110,000

100k for a 23ft boat is obserd lets be real

I have a 18 model Keywest Bayreef 210 which has been incredibly good for my needs! 5 years no stress cracks etc,,,, have friends with Pathfinders, sportsman’s, Nautic stars and tidewaters with issues in quality.

Check out the Twin Vee 240 Dual Console. About $115k with the 2 big engines. It is a catamaran and is super stable and hard to beat for the 💰 2 engines are better than 1 on the ocean. 💯

I’m guessing 30-40k would be a bit easier to swallow and that’s still a good chunk for most of us. Don’t take this wrong it’s just my opinion and I totally love watching the Chit Show! Hey Daniel what is the towing weight of the 239fs including the trailer.

Probably the Bayliner T22CX would be a better one that is actually somewhat affordable

I like the Key West CC but I guess I missed the boat cause there is no way I am paying what these things are costing now days for a depreciating asset. I will shore fish and buy more property. Even Kayak makers have lost their damn mind. I have had a few boats and it’s always the same 3-5 yrs they are great then I can’t wait to get rid of it, yet I always get sucked back into it. Money pits that’s what they are.

How well does the powder coat hold up vs stainless?
