@@DM57262I know right? I work with kids so I’m pretty exhausted every day after work. I love it but some days it really mentally and physically drains you. My husband and I want at least one kid of our own too. 😊
My kids slept over at the grandparents last weekend. My wife and I woke up in silence. I put a thing in a place...and it remained in that place. I felt like I was in a zen garden.
GIving the toddler a broken game controller so that you can play a non-violent game in peace (while the toddler is in your lap) is what my husband does 😂
My third and youngest child is graduating high school this month!!!! I will be taking a sabbatical shortly after. I CANNOT WAIT! Who will I be when my first thoughts of the day do not revolve around my kids?
Loving this new vein of content! 👏🏻 When my kids were little I always said it was like an alarm sounded when my butt hit a chair because all the sudden they all needed me at once! 🤦🏻♀️🤣
Those precious windows of time reaction are spot on!😂 my kid is 1 and the last time I had a true day to myself was nearly 3 months ago. I did nothing but clean the house, my anxiety wouldn't let me relax😢
"Babe, we're meeting the McCafferys in less than 24 hours so if you want to get bathtime going, I'll start loading the car!" So painfully true. Were over eight years into parenting and still underestimate how long it takes to get children into a vehicle. Then when he runs into the kitchen at the sound of breaking glass. It's impossible to keep up with all the offenses!
Im so glad videos like this help some people realize or confirm they dont want children. Not everyone should be a parent or even need to be, and more need to come to this realization and self actualization and not reproduce.
It's comedy....as someone who wasn't always sure they could handle kids, I realized that yes, it's extremely hard...but just as anything else in life that may be hard (for example climbing a mountain or working towards a career) that doesn't mean it's not also extremely rewarding and meaningful, and worthwhile in the long run. Hope that makes sense.. !
Having a child would send me over the edge, and it would be unloved and unwanted and grow up knowing that. I’m not gonna do that to myself AND someone else
@@alyssanixon9268 That's great that you know yourself well and decided that for yourself. I'm just saying people should take these kind of videos with a grain of salt, realize it's comedy, and not use these tongue in cheek videos to actually make their life decisions.
This is my absolute worst nightmare. I try my damndest to make sure I have at least some free time everyday, I'm not sure I could handle kids lmao. But great video nonetheless!
Hahaha. Don't be scared. It gets SSOOOOOO much easier past the baby stage. My kids are 6/7 now and they are SO much fun. We just saw the Mario movie and had a blast. It's fun to share the joy with your littles on everything. And they LOVE all my 80s music, movies, video games and shall carry that torch forward. That alone makes it all worth it. 🥲
It's good that you realize and acknowledge you can't handle kids right now. Not everyone should be a parent or needs to. Actually a lot more people should realize this about themselves and not reproduce.
@@TruthBeTold0914 I agree, as harsh as it may be, I've definitely seen my fair share of parents that should not be parents, at least not the way that they're parenting in general. I think everybody should have the chance to be a parent, with the proper education in the field however, that's why parenting classes exist. Hopefully I'll one day meet someone that I could see having kids with in the future, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Hit home. father of 3. 15,10,5. Sports. Coaching teams, full time job, birthday parties, practices and games, homework. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Definitely worth the time and tiredness.
People saying it gets better as they get older are lying! Lol! But every stage is really fun! Enjoy your little one. (I have kids ranging from 8 to 23, I speak from lots of experience.)
I am sitting here trying to gear myself up for this weekend lol. We’ve got extra church meetings, softball, soccer, piano lessons, all the things!!! 😂 life with kids is crazy but I wouldn’t want it any other way
Watching videos like this, I'm thankful we had our kids fairly young (while we had a bit more energy lol), they're good kids anyway and their Grandparents had no problem watching them if we wanted to go out for an evening together or with friends.
@@renroxhrd Sweetie he just had a newborn son. They named him Thomas...where have you been? His wife was on the podcast the whole time while she was pregnant. I'm talking about Trey and not Jake too.
@@renroxhrd no worries love❤️!! It's not like they have done a lot of broadcasting that I've seen. But I know they brought the baby on an episode of the podcast recently.
😂😂😂 the battery closet!!!! We have one of those. Also, nursing my 4th kid while #3 breaks everything and my older kids are whining bc they probably have covid, we actually all do but adults don't have time to be sick so we just ignore our sore throats - this is life. The best kind. My body hurts.
I think it is great that people have kids but I enjoy being child free. I work 40+ hours a week and take online classes go to the gym at least twice a week and I still find myself bored sometimes.
My kids are by far the best thing I’ve ever done, don’t even want to think of life without them, but I respect your decision. You should only have kids if you really want them.
Hope you and your partner are getting help! The first years can be so hard. Mine is 2 and we have a small, but helpful village to help us. But its so important. Feel good!!❤
The older I get and the more I see these type of videos, TikTok’s , Instagram etc and parents looking so drained makes me question whether I want kids 😂😭
I went to visit my brother/SIL, and I was like, if you guys need a break, I can watch the ki---they left so fast and didn't come back for like 5 hours, which okay, but they also left so fast they didn't leave any additional breastmilk for the youngest so I had to literally call and say, heeeeeyyyyyyy, um......are you coming back, or?!?
Had my 1st son when i was 19 so i don't remember what it was like to not have kids. Now I'm 36 and have 2 sons. The older graduates this year and i swear the younger one will never leave! He's 10 and quite the handful! Adorable but a handful!
So glad I didn't have to deal with the breast milk bags lol Sounds stressful. 3 bottlefed babies and it was amazing. No pumping, no storing, dad could help anytime :)
This. Is. So. Painfully. Accurate.. here’s to having our third baby 5 weeks ago 🔥🔥 people ask me what I do for fun or after work or on weekends..‘I’m like, “Yea I don’t really do leasure.. like ever.. I can tell you what i used to be into tho”
