I am so proud of you for doing some decluttering. You should be very proud of yourself. Remember that it is okay to be sad, anxious, and tearful while going through your Mom's things. If you start to feel overwhelmed just take a deep breath, take a short break and start again.❤❤❤

Wow well done honey. Great start, you should be proud of what you’ve achieved so far. Yes we can notice a difference already in that room. Getting stuff donated and up for sale is a big step forward. The memories of your mum doing her baking will always be with you, just think of the cakes others can make using your mum’s items, they wouldn’t be able too, if you hadn’t of donated them. Don’t forget to do it in small chunks and reward yourself! Have a cuppa, go for a walk, take those well earned breaks. I was an 80’s kid and remember the bright coloured shell suits and bright platform shoes, hope you find a great home for them! The extra income you make is also a great incentive to sell items! Keep up the good work, the videos is such a good idea, we can keep cheering you on and it gives you a push to do a video each week, so you have things to share with us, your progress is great!

I can see a big difference already in the room you’re decluttering. Great job. You’ve accomplished so much in such a short time. I’m still declutterring things from when my mom and sister passed a few years ago, but I realize everyone’s process is different . Something that is helping me whenever I feel like I didn’t accomplish enough I tell myself I have 2 less trash bags of stuff or 3 less boxes, etc. , so when it doesn’t look like I made a dent I realize I must have because I took out x many boxes and x many bags.

It is a great start. One thing that I did when I was decluttering was to not buy anything else for the space until I was finished. It was difficult but it was incentive to finish. My process took over a year.

So proud of you that you were able to part with your moms stuff. I know it’s hard. When my husband died I was eventually able to part with all his clothes except for his bathrobe and favorite baseball hat

You did an awesome job working in the spare bedroom! Thank you again for including us on your journey. I’d love to see more. I wanted to mention if you have particular clothing pieces of your mom’s that are hard to let go of, you can have them used to make a memory animal. I watch another content provider that has an assortment of animals to choose from and she can use the fabric from the clothes to make the animal of your choice. Her pieces look great.

That's great bravery - you inspire myself and I'm certain you'll inspire many others. 💌 You have inspired me so much to try to move more and get rid of the clutter. I wish I could do it all in a weekend like in my younger days. Now I move soooo much slower.😅

Good morning my friend ❤ I'm so happy you have been able to declutter. If you have an item that you don't have, or just can't part with, keep them. You can also, turn, say loved clothes, into a tote bag, or something that you can use. Just take your time sway when needed too. Don't let the whole thing stress you out. Love those mudd and 90s clothes!

So proud of you, losing a parent is extremely hard. I lost my mom suddenly as well a few years after losing my husband and sister. BTW my maiden name is Mudd. 😂 I’ve always loved the Mudd brand too.

I bet that was hard to do . I still have my daddy's stuff ill never get rid of it . i dont have anything from my mommy i wish i did . its a good thing that you are feeling better and can do this . may GOD BLESS You.And keep his hands on you to be strong.
