Tara! Love the rug! It compliments the space so well. 👌🏼 I’d say move the rug up towards the fireplace just a tad. If you’re aiming to “anchor” the space then have it so the rug doesn’t peak out from behind the couch into the dining/office area. Have the wooden chair that’s next to the fireplace on top of a portion of the rug. The idea is to have the rug touch every item in the living room to create that anchored vibe. Hope this makes sense! 💚

I’m loving the journey you’re on to make your space your own! It’s realistic - there’s so much pressure for things to be perfect straight away, and I love that you’re taking your time for it to evolve and refine slowly

You are doing so well on your journey moving back to Ireland. It’s such a huge transition to move country, regardless of whether where you move to is your home country or not. Moving back home dredges up the good and bad we left behind and it can be so hard to integrate family dynamics back into your more immediate life. I went through something similar last year myself! It gets easier 🙂
