Hey sir great videos, I really like the big gmc & was wondering what size springs r on front? I have an 86 gmc shot bed on 42s, its 9 foot to the roof but the problem is someone cut off the spring hangers & bubblegum welded a 10 inch drop box to move the hangers & lift the truck lol. Didn't take long for those welds to break. Now I wanta do the right thing & cur that off to put springs on.

I just launched a brand new video on the Jimmy showing almost everything I did. I have 6” BDS softride springs that measure 46” long and 2.5” wide. With that much lift your running I would look at diy4x.com. They offer front spring brackets that have multiple mounting positions. My monster blazer has a 12” spring lift and it pulls the rear shackles so far forward that they become useless and requires the adjustable brackets
