Miller reminds me of my fourth child, also a bald, big eyed beautiful baby and he was just such a lovely snuggly, smiley baby then I blinked and now he is a gigantic six foot two seventeen year old! The time does go by so fast! Enjoy your sweet young family :)

I work part time from home. So our weekends are full of family time and messes. I try to keep mon-fri very organized and on a schedule of things that must get done so that our weekends can be mostly free and lots of fun. The weather here today is currently nice and hot! Thanks for sharing this!
I’ve been an empty nester for a very long time. The hard part is that retirement lends too much time freedom. Your videos are even great for this old gal. You always remind me that I do best when I have my days organized. As a matter of fact, Hubby and I are sitting down first thing tomorrow to RESET and plan out some long term goals as well as short term, keeping this year’s word in mind “INTENTIONAL”. The striped dress is nice because of the lines of the stripes on the top. I noticed that puff jackets that have the angles of the stripes make curves look very flattering. I can also see a lightweight denim jacket over it.
Finally able to watch again, after being so ill with Covid. I can't get over how big Miller has gotten. His eyes are beautiful and so expressive!!! Loved watching the Sarasota vlog. You mentioned going for pizza down there. Recommendation, if you've never gone- Joey D's is the best pizza we've had there. Every trip down there (we live near Orlando) we go there, Yoder's and Captain Curt's on Siesta Key, but need to broaden our pallets a little. Have a blessed day! 🙏

My husband will love that cake. I never keep buttermilk either! I found this stuff called Saco buttermilk powder at Kroger and it’s worked really well and keeps in the fridge a long time. My little Fletcher loves that fishing game also.

That coffee cake looks so much like my Nana's, she was from Tyrone, PA. It was one of my first recipes to cook! I used to make it for Christmas morning every year. Now that I'm eating keto I will have to find a new recipe made with almond flour. Thanks for the great memory!

19:18 one thing you can do when a recipe calls for buttermilk is make your own. 👍 Get heavy whipping cream and put it in your mixer until it becomes butter. Now you can use the butter and the buttermilk for that recipe!
@@Ajsupermonkey whipping cream comes in a smaller container and would be on my shopping list if I was planning on making this. Buttermilk's container is too big for the amount needed but would be just right form a small cream container. 😁
I love layering slipdresses with a cropped top over it. It gives the look of a top and skirt, with the comfort of a dress. I'm short waisted, so crop tops are a flattering length, while the dress underneath keeps my waist covered.

Miller is the most beautiful baby and he seems so happy .. Really like the dress you chose to keep .. The mom socks are perfect/they go with everything, you cab bleach them if you need to and they are just plain simple and cute .. The coffee cake looked Devine .. Josh really really liked it .. Called coffee cake because they ate perfect with a delicious cup of coffee .. Evonnie making a charcuterie board and she and Fletcher eating it for lunch was so cute .. They are the cutest .. Hi Megan! Your cake looked wonderful. I could almost smell it! For future … there is a powdered buttermilk blend, that’s found in the baking aisle of most grocery stores. Very shelf stable and easy to use. I keep a small can around, because buttermilk is just something I don’t keep around.

That cake looks sooooooo good. I was disappointed initially because I'm not a fan of foods that have coffee in them. THEN, you said no coffee in it. SO, straight to your shop to get the recipe. Yum!!
I miss cooking for fun! My 16mo is always cranky in the afternoon and clings to me while I try to cook... Oh well, this too shall pass and I'll probably miss it when he's older and keeps to himself.
Do you keep the recipe cards and remake them later? We just had a mini date at home remaking some of our favourite recipes. Really easy and fun at home.
I have to say if a Mennonite loves Green Chef that's saying something because you guys have the tastiest, made from scratch/love food I've ever tasted. The best "home" cooks and recipes ever. So if your game maybe I need to catch up.

I did not care when I was breastfeeding my daughter lol. I only covered when we were in restaurants because she would be too distracted. I would layer a tank top under my shirt so my whole stomach wasn’t out
The more I attend to/look into Mennonites, the more I feel connected to this theology/ethics. ♡ I feel, like it's the Christian denomination I can identify & agree most with. The only thing that keeps me (away), is the gender and sexual standarts. I highly beliefe in equality/emancipation and more liberal sex morals.. I honestly would return the white sundress with the stripes - it’s just a teeny bit see through on the bottom and I don’t like to have to think about what I wear under skirts, just make whatever is clean work haha
