Not really. Bleach tanked hard and was floating around the middle before being at the bottom for a loooong time. Eventually, Naruto stopped being second when things like Assassination Classroom came along. Big 3 status was only intact for a few years.

One Piece has been artificially boosted by editord as of late since it's their only big mascot series. Even AC overtook OP a few times in 2012.

The original Big 3 are Hokuto no ken, Kinnikuman and Dragon Ball

@@deidartica Kinnikuman is more popular in Japan. Globally, Saint Seiya is by FAR the bigger hit from the 80s.

I'd say hokuto no ken, saint seiya and dragon ball kinninkuman best moments were from a different time period

I know a girl like that IRL and considering how at the beginning Orihime's main character traits were airhead/likes the mc the theory might hold some truth. Later we see that she isn't stupid at all and there's that one wholesome scene where Ichigo's sleeping and she has her monologue. I don't know man I guess we'll never be sure

@@siegelfried372 You might find this wierd or crazy, but I did some research and found out that other shonen female characters are referred to as having airheaded traits as well, Ochako Uraraka from MHA, Nijere Hado from MHA, Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer, Kanao Tsuyuri from Demon Slayer (not sure if Kanao counts, but she is absent minded and very unresponsive and was called an airhead by one of the medical Hashira in manga chapter 100), Muichiro Tokito, and Emma from The Promised Neverland. Yeah so calling Orihime a bimbo is like calling Ochako Uraraka, Nejire Hado, or Mitsuri Kanroji bimbo's. When it comes to Orihime Inoue she's a daydreamer so when she isn't doing schoolwork or household chores she's either preoccupied and distracted by her own thoughts or daydreaming which is also referred to as airheaded which is why Muichiro Tokito is referred to as airheaded, this trait of Orihime's lessons as the series goes on and disappears completely the time the TYBW arc comes around. Orihime is an oddball like Minori Kushieda from Toradora Orihime is the only character called a bimbo for maladaptive daydreaming and quirkiness two traits that aren't even associated with the bimbo stereotype.

usually manga get higher chance to rank up when colored edition come (the color edition is rotated for each week for each manga)

Small correction: They switched it from shounen to seinen after part 6. Part 7 began as a shounen and was later moved to ultra jump

Actually part 7 is one of the lower selling JoJo parts. Part 3-5 are by far the most popular manga with the most sold.

dragon ball consistently 1st slam dunk consistently 2nd both of these shows are better and came out earlier than naruto and one piece, theres only one reason as to why its better and came out early its because the authors arent actually geniuses now go away you naruto fanboy kishimoto is a hack luckily oda is actually a great imaginative writer not a hack that has to blatantly copy 20+ different shows

Jojo has peculiar taste. this manga had very eager fans but it was not massive in japan.

Actually, jojo was always popular, but ranked down because was more adult than other series in jump, the same happen with ecchi manga

@@seanstroman6087 Not really when people like Oda have told readers since 2007 to blatantly ignore this shit due to how vague and overall underhanded the Editors are when it comes to pushing certain manga. Like I said: Grocery Store where what they want to push is in the front, regardless of quality.

@@Gackt4awesome It's not an exact measure, but it is a general idea of how popular a series is an how much faith they have in it. When series start to become less popular, they drop towards the back. The exception are when they are trying to push new series, they will push them towards the top for a bit. If they fail to gain traction, they will be put in their actual place.

It is also related to series canceling. If it is too low it is considered to be cancelled unless there are other projects (anime, drama cd vs) or manga sales doing particularly well.
