I love your genuineness and authenticity Jess. You always keep it real which is what I love about watching your videos. I have struggled with my relationship with food for as long as I can remember, and I feel like I’ve been on a diet my whole life. I’m 43 and have been up and down in weight forever. I realize the pandemic is long over, but man it did a number on me and my health and I’m still trying to crawl out of the whole I’ve dug for myself. I get so much inspiration from seeing your meal plans and hearing you discuss how it’s going week to week. No matter what you never give up on yourself! I love your spend the day with me videos and your book reviews too. I hate to hear you have people asking questions in a negative context. Makes me feel protective of you and I get mad lol. I hope you enjoy your weekend and I look forward to whatever is coming up! 😊
Keep up the journey. You're doing great! F or 18 years, I was an RN in the ER and ICU and was on my feet 12 hours a day. I went from that to a desk job where now I sit for 8 hours a day. After three years and menopause I had packed on a whopping 100 pounds. I had to make some changes. I've really reigned in my diet, and I got a stand-up desk for work, and that helped some, but I find it hard to type/answer emails, etc, standing up. I've also made time to go to the gum 3-4 days a week. However, what has helped more than anything is the sit down elliptical machine I use under my desk. I can set it to automatic or manual whichever I'm feeling. I use it 5-6 hours a day. I don't even realize I'm doing it. It's very quiet an has Very low impact. My feet and legs no longer swell, and my circulation has gotten back to where it needs to be. I've lost 100 pounds in a year, and I contribute most of the success to using this machine! I just feel like I'm moving constantly, even if it's easy, easy, easy. It works!
Thank you so much for your honesty and realness. I’m at the same part of life. I will be 48 in April and I’m 58 days without a period. This is the second time in the last 6-8 months. Oh to be a woman….
Thank you for always keeping it real. I enjoy your content and can relate to all of it. You help keep me motivated to keep my own after 50 weight loss journey going ❤
I really love how open you are. And can’t wait for your chatty vlog! Also, let me at whoever is asking you mean questions because that is so not OK. You are too genuine and kind to have to deal with that. I’m sorry 😢
Judy Blues are my favorite jeans. I received them in my stitch fix a couple years ago. They send them to me from time to time. Also Maurice’s carries them. The best jeans! I feel you on the hot flashes it’s terrible. It’s not easy at all. As we get older it’s so hard to drop the weight. Anyways I always love your videos it reminds me I’m not alone in this journey of getting older ❤
Just an observation ...I quit watching all WW RU-vidrs awhile ago and this video just popped up in my feed. It sent me down a rabbit hole watching a couple of others I used to follow. Surprisingly all stayed on WW and all are still struggling with their weight and they appear to look the same...not where they want or thought they should be in their weight journey. IDK
I was losing regularly until I stopped doing WW and changed to keto. Keto messed me up bad. My metabolism and hormones were so out of whack. When when I went to back WW, I was back on track and things were going great until I hit perimenopause last year. I maintained all last year. But since doing a ton of research and adjusting accordingly to things I found and working by with my doctor, I’m finally losing again. I track more than WW - I also focus on protein, fiber and calories and getting activity in. WW is a tool to keep me focused and make healthy food choices.
