Honestly, this was so refreshing. My biggest thing is that I feel like people are being rewarded for producing the same artificial content while other creatives that have their signature styles are hidden in the shadows. So glad you brought that up. Xx

Girl I respect you so much for the integrity that caused you not to play that bizarre social games that we are observing and go your own way even tho you really honestly fucking slay at the makeup game and there really isn't a lot of people on your level of creativity and execution imho. I wish you all the success in your further career because you are one of the coolest people ever and this decision proves it. Like I cannot imagine who thinks that kind of situation like the party you've described is something completely normal and justified while we have so much bigger problems to deal with than spending hours to make that identical perfect selfie

I think you are a good unique person who we look up to. I hope you come back here to influence us and teach other Influencers how to be more self aware.

It's really all about consumerism and I find it really bad in retail also. I worked for a large chain makeup/beauty company and they just want you to push push push. You are rewarded for selling overpriced shit people don't need. I thought of it as being an instore beauty influencer because people really trust what you say.

I'd love to see a video about your aesthetic influences/what has inspired your mini makeup films.

AGREEEEEEE!!!!! It’s sad bc I’ve been a makeup artist for 20 years and the direction that makeup has been going has discouraged me to get out of it and completely change my career bc I am soooo tired of the unoriginal makeup that is being revered for no reason. It like makes me roll my eyes so hard that I get nauseous! I literally get angry bc NO ONE is inspiring anymore...it all looks the same!!!

Oh gosh, I'm going to makeup school this fall and now I'm scared lol no but all jokes aside I mostly want to do it for film and stuff, like special effects because I feel like that's a lot of fun.
