Yes, you can rid the heat damage. You can do the obvious, and stop putting heat on your hair for a while. Try a deep conditioning mask on your hair. Mielle’s Rosemary mint mask and Cantù’s guava and ginger strengthening protein masque. Get a nice trim and start pampering your own hair. You’ll be surprised with the results. Good luck!!❤
@@ayanafite No, way, I didn’t mean to come across like that. I know you’re busy and you’re quick to throw on those wigs and jet!!! I am definitely not going to comment if I can’t do it nicely.🙋🏽♀️ In fact, I live in Chicago.
@@QueenMuva I am sorry if you received my comment the wrong way, also. Rolling your neck means responding with attitude to me. It was not meant to give Ayana attitude, just answer her question. Maybe, using the word obvious gave off the wrong impression.
@@ayanafiteShe's sort of right, but truly the only way to get rid of heat damage is to cut it and be mindful of the amount of heat you put in your hair. Hair masks aren't going to bring your hair back, but it'll help nourish the hair that's coming back in healthy. If you don't want to get it all cut off at once, regular decent length trims are best.
OMG you coming to South Africa!🤭 I'm from SA too,I can't wait to watch your SA vlog. So what should we do when we bump into you to not make things awkward for you?😂

Heyy! I have really curly but medium/low density hair especially in the front of my hair. The as I am pomegranate/passion fruit growash helped my hair revert back after 3 years of black box dyes and heat damage! The one cleansing conditioner I can swear by!
Hey Girly, Yes you can recover from heat damage. The first way would be to wet your natural hair and see where the damage is and cut it off OR you can cut the damage hair slowly at your own pace. Make sure when you do your wash day you deep condition and add some protein conditioners into your routine as well. It will help with strengthen your hair strands. Avoid heat styling of course LOL. Congratulations on the new job

That was one of my biggest fears about overly straighten my hair. I was told by my cosmetologist if you lose your curl pattern or have heat damage, there is a treatment that some salons offer that can help you get your curl pattern back. You might want to check into it.
I love Travis too! I went to the Friday night show! Great time. As far as Delta status goes your account will show your current 2024 status. If you move up before the end of the year that will he the new 2024 status. If you dont you just stay where you are. No downgrading. All of your 2023 activity goes towards 2024 status.
For the damage you can get an olaplex treatment at the salon. I messed up my hair real bad from bleaching it at home and my curls came back IMMEDIATELY it was crazy! But go to the salon tho because they have a stronger treatment than the one in stores. I have type 4 hair but I went to a white salon and it was only like $50!
Girl I'm in north Dakota I'm so sick of this damn deep freezer I'm getting tf out of here🙅 before the new year 😅Florida, California something 😅😅😅but most definitely get you some pizza in Chicago

I'm from Chicago, South Suburbs. I moved to Atlanta 26 YEARS ago, for that reason. So, not only is it cold but they have a blizzard like conditions most of the winter, and it snows all the way up to April.
Ayana. You just have to do away with the middle part for a cpl of months.. same thing happened to me. I know thats hard to hear but its not going to go away if it's constantly being manipulated. Especially if you wear straight hair alot, i know you have to straighten that leave out often to blend with straight her.. you should get braids for a while or wear ponytails. Love ya. I hate to see your leave out going to this. ❤
I tried a v part and straightened my hair and the heat damage messed up my hair for quite some time lol. The best treatment for heat damage to my hair was keeping it in its natural state or in a protective style, moisturizing and trimming it regularly. I dont really know how to make it curl again when it wont except waiting for it grow out and chop off the damaged bits, thats what i had to do when I bleached my hair. Im not a professional tho, but if I want straight hair I put on a wig n straighten that 😂 I love your videos so much you look great 💙
My advice for visiting Chicago is to stay in the downtown area or North side. If you want good food u will have to go out west to Uncle Remus . Go out south for Harold's .. matter fact go to the south burbs for Harold's chicken, Portillos, Giordano, Beggars & Italin Fiesta pizza.😂 Ppl love Wu's House as well . Orland Park will give u most of those places plus shopping 🛍. I could go on depending on what else you're looking for. Most importantly, stay safe out here‼️💙💪🏾
I’m from Chicago, stay away from the red line lol use uber, not the bus or trains really, people from Chicago will instantly know you’re not from there
Hey girl! I use dog broth from the pet store 99.9% of the time. I only used the unsalted human one cause I ran out and that's what I had on hand.... but noted! Thank you
Yes boo ive dmamaged my hair and brought it bag your hair will always revert. But plget REVITALIZATION conditionors and sprays they directly bring your hair back to its natural state
