I agree with you about homeownership. Especially with how high houses are now, it’s more expensive to own. Something is always breaking and the maintenance is constant. Property taxes change your monthly payment which nobody told me NOTHING! You might like a condo but the HOA is ridiculous and constantly goes up and then you’re still responsible for everything inside. So yesss, I recommend people look into ownership but you’re absolutely right - renting is a lot more convenient and owning is way more than comparing rent to mortgage. Go at your OWN pace.
