I actually think we all need to speak more about our periods. There's still so much misinformation around it and it's still too much of a taboo topic for something most of the global population experiences. I appreciate your period chats, telling us about your symptoms and how you're feeling. They help normalise something that is very normal, and should be viewed as such.

Jess, I remember not wanting to change my last name after I married my hubby. I actually changed it when I got a new job NINE YEARS LATER! 😂. I felt it was a fresh start and also people wouldn’t be confused about calling me by my new married name vs. my maiden name. Btw, I’ll be married 34 years in December!

Is it possible you may be pregnant? Just because you have a period doesn't mean you're not pregnant. With sleeping and stomach issues may be a possibility, but definitely you should keep your appointment with the Dr. Especially since you have mold in the house. That can make you sick.

I am so happy you mentioned the 'are you pregnant ' topic.. because I was planning on discussing it on my RU-vid channel, but I decided not to since my channel is so new. So,last week I went to a meeting and as I got to the door, the lady said "oh my, are you pregnant? " I felt so broken when she asked because, I have chronic kidney disease, and a symptom is fluid retention. To make matters worse, I was feeling great about my 7lb weight loss, but her question took me right back to feeling insecure smh.. thank you Jess for continously making great content. Big up yuself

I literally went vegan and slowly reintroduced other foods in. Figured out I'm VERY lactose intolerant, can't do red meat or pork. My tummy stopped fighting me and finally went down to where I didn't look like I was in my first trimester(thank gosh, cus I too got tired of that damn question 😒). Good luck hun!!

Hey Jess. I wanted to recommend that you ask your OBGYN to check for fibroids or cysts ( which to my understanding, are similar to fibroids) if they haven’t yet. Sometimes they can contribute to pain ful cramps, heavy bleeding and depending on the size and placement of the fibroid, it can make you appear pregnant. Not trying to worry you but a lot of women, black women in particular live with the symptoms of fibroids and they don’t even know that they have them. I also think it’s a good thing that you’re going to the GI doctor and checking up on yourself. Also girl unless you have a good proactive and caring doctor, you have to advocate for yourself hard to get answers. Side note: I’m so glad that you’re open to discussing your period. I think it gives people insight and perspective on how people experience their cycle and we can get tips on how to mitigate the pain.

The exhortation before worship is🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 The Word and even personal worship helps facilitate the atmosphere for exhortation. This has helped me tremendously as I have lead worship, even now.
for the flowers, i usually only do 1-2 inches of cold water and i cut them all at an angle. i refresh the water every couple days. they usually last 2+ weeks :)

Luv this vlogggg!!! So many things, ok. You reminded me that I need to get my ceiling checked out. I have a water spot too. That I have ignored. Home owners is no joke😅I just recently started going to a IG doctor for bloating and major discomfort when I eat ANYTHING! And my stomach sounds like there are aliens inside when I eat.Annnd I look 5 months Preg afterwards 🤦🏾♀️They did test but haven’t found anything. The Dr. did give me FDgard. You can but over the counter. It helps with digestion. You take it before you eat. It does work well. I do have fibroids, so that may be my issue….. I’m one 2 that is exhausted after I work out 😂🤣Awesome praise and worship 🙏🏽Love the chemistry between you and your husband!!!❤🖤
It’s a lot , but I still prefer a home over an apartment. We have purchased 3 AC units this summer, got our plumbing fixed, . 2 years ago we had to replace the roof because of hurricane Ida. We have been here for 32 years now! Praise God!
