To clarify, Ravnica: Clue Edition (and Ravnica: Cluedo Edition) will come with all 21 Evidence cards. These are: 6 Borderless legendary creature cards representing murder suspects 5 Artifact cards representing possible murder weapons 10 Land cards depicting locations that may have been the scene of the crime There are another 30 new-to-Magic rare and uncommon cards available in the boosters, and those cannot be found in other Murders at Karlov Manor products. @@mtg gotta love the bot just ignoring the displeasure of the viewer and only scanning for keyword to respond with I hope whoever programmed this bot is tried at Nuremburg
Rakdos being the lounge is a must. Study and secret passage also seem spot on. I like this list in general. I’m trying not to be too biased by a Simic character that was a chef in my Ravnican D&D, but I keep wanting to put Simic closer to the food. I think Golgari in the kitchen makes sense (the Strixhaven cook was Golgari after all), but maybe Simic will be the dining room. I see why you put Gruul there, but I can also see Gruul being associated with a room for games. There is thought and math that can be put in billiards though. Hmm. I think the green guilds have issues being aligned to a house (except for the conservatory) in general, so I see those going a number of ways.
@@twarnold14 A large part of why I put Gruul in the Dining Room is the flavour text of a couple cards quoting Borborygmos as saying "Let's Eat!" I forget which cards specifically, though. Boros and Simic were the last two to be assigned, so that's kinda the only reason they are where they are.
Well, it would appear I got three wrong. They put Golgari in the Lounge, Simic in the Kitchen, and Rakdos in the Billiard Room. I managed the others, at least.
I just want more morph type creatures with interesting casting costs for other effects like "devotion" or "how many pips" etc. 9/10 were playing these face down and turning them up for the morph cost , the mana value of the card itself usually is a none factor. If we give them interesting mana costs it could be cool to experiment and play around with that sort of stuff for example "Scornful Egotist" is at the very least interesting for it's high CMC "mana value" , I'd love to see more of that , more specifically I want 3 colored mana pips+ most of these morphs just have 2 colored pips.
Mark Rasmussen or what's his name is seems like an unsympathetic seller to me and not a Magic fan who ist excited for the set. These "first look at" Videos always feel like the're made for investors and not for Magic Players.
He kept calling the 'suspect' and 'case solved' punch outs "counters"...they arent counters, are they? They are a status, similar to phased out, correct?
I also interpreted them as not being counters. I’m sure he said it out of habit given most other punch outs have been counters. I think a good comparison is exerted from Amonkhet block. It had a punch out to help remember a state rather than a counter.
I wish everyone who plays it a lot of fun, I decided to not give them any money for new product for the time being. And, I want to emphasize, that's not because of the product. R&D are not to blame. Though I am quite disappointed about Ravnica Remastered, I was looking forward to it, then it played so aggro, didn't feel different from the last few sets. Anyway, good thing my LGS has a lot of older draft boxes.
You'd put the front side face down (ignoring any effects on the back side) as a 2/2. Also, can't transform a double-sided card if it's played face down.
How about you stop reprinting everything to oblivion. How about you dial back the release schedule so we can actually enjoy the game. How about you discontinue the grossly overpriced, predatory SLD'S and Collector Boosters. How about you kill the Universes Beyond and go back to creating Magic cards again before the game is so diluted, it's the TCG laughing stock. How about you bring back the draftbox and include some lottery cards for the players. How about you reduce cost of the ridiculously overpriced sealed products that contain overprinted, worthless cards. How about you go back to 1 commander product a year and try to save what was a creative and thriving format.
1. Reprints are overall good. 2. You don't need to buy every product 3. SLDs are great ways to keep cards valuable while reprinting cards. 4. Universes beyond sells and brings people into the game. 5. You can still draft as normal and lottery cards are in every product now. 6. That's what buying singles are for. 7. The commander format is very healthy
