THIS is the only thing that matters. Drake's Grammy acceptance speech 2019: "I wanna take this opportunity while I’m up here to just talk to all the kids that are watching this that are aspiring to do music, all my peers that make music from their heart, that do things pure and tell the truth: I wanna let you know we play in an opinion-based sport, not a factual-based sport, so its not the NBA where at the end of the year you’re holding a trophy because you made the right decisions and won the games. This is a business where sometimes, you know, it’s up to a bunch of people that might not understand, you know, what a mixed race kid from Canada has to say, or a fly Spanish girl from New York or anybody else, or a brother from Houston right there, my brother Travis. But look, the point is, you’ve already won if you have people who are singing your songs word for word, if you’re a hero in your hometown. If, look, if there’s people who have regular jobs who are coming out in the rain and snow, spending their hard-earned money to buy tickets to come to your shows: you don’t need this right here, I promise you, you already won."
Voyger ` teenagers? You realize a lot of people listened to drake 10 years ago during his come up and they’re all in their 30’s now lol. Old drake best drake.
@@flare911 im not talking about 30 year old im talking about 50 60 70 year old people in toronto because of all of the shit that he did for the city not every one listens to r&b drake raps and does a little R&B so u get the best of both worlds and u bring in more fans and if u do listen to toronto news or read the news paper (which mostly all old people do) u will sooner or later get a story on drake because he does so much shit for the city i havent seen a single thing that theweeknd did for toronto he doesnt even live here he lives in la drake lives in toronto just shows u how much the city loves him to and how he loves them.
@@fbk8004 Underrated in the sense that old school hip hop fans think he's a shit rapper coz he dabbles in other genres like dancehall and r&b. I was just saying he's talented as a rapper in addition to his other genres.
Romy Taylor the weekend wrote half the songs and gave drake crew love ride and shot for me 💀 the weekend is the reason take care even became the #1 album 🤧
..its pretty epic to see two Canadian boys own their craft..so when they show up in our mecca, together and with the right choice of songs. Its cold as a bitch up here today, but in those moments things get hot af.
Imagine being the Weeknd at 7:52. Having thousands of people still cheering for you after your mentor guest appears at your own concert. You're soaking in all the incredible energy around you even though it's so late at night.
Two Canadian icons, like Drake and the Weeknd, perform in Toronto. This is enormous and the greatest collaboration between two artists. Who can argue about this.
When i went to visit Canada.. I got the chance to go to see this concert. One of the best concert ever, loved seeing drake and weekend at Toronto, the best place to see them both.
Before I leave this earth I will see Drake live Before I leave this earth I will see Drake live Before I leave this earth I will see Drake live Before I leave this earth I will see Drake live Before I leave this earth I will see Drake live
Two of the only artist that you can tell put absolutely everything into music. Leaves it all in the studio. That's why they so huge, such loyal fan bases, and can sell out arenas
I've watched this before. But coming back to this, like honestly, how emotional would this be for Abel. I'd honestly cry if a song i made while homeless years years years ago when i had nothing was being sung by millions in my own hometown with one of my freinds that got me to where i am now. Both sucussful as shit both living our best lives both up on stage in front of thousands . like thats our fucking story, thats my fucking story. i got out of that dark depressing poverty and look where i am now, in the fucking top with flashing lights on my own stage with thousands of fans. Damn that's fucking fucking insane man. XO man XO.
Back in 2012, when I heard this song, I was like "This guy's vibe is so different ! He reminds me of something unique and good that I've lost - Michael Jackson." I didn't even know his name nor his face at that time. In 2014, I had the track "Remember you". Then I realised "The Weeknd" is the "Crew Love" guy. His face was revealed to me in 2015 or 2016, I remember, back when he had the basquiat-like dreadlocks. And I said : «Hearing him for years in the dark made me imagining his morphollogy differently. Also, I didn't know he was so modern in terms of fashion. I thought he was that very skinny and talented thirty-something dude that is over-introverted and dresses with Levi's jeans and oversized shirt and black glasses.» Almost a decade later, he still delivers and remains amongst my favorite artists. More life to you, Weeknd.

OVOXO FOREVERRRR! 🙌🏼 I would've lost my fucken shit if I went to that show in Toronto!! I wish he would've brought him out in LA omfg 🔥
I'm reaching out from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and we'd like to use a clip of it in our music special. Could we have permission to use this video? We will give you an onscreen credit. Please confirm if you are the copyright holder and if this is okay
