I appreciate the sentiment - I mean there is a whole world of people out literally unaware of their existence, but ... we that love them so are legion. And rabid about it.
How the hell have i been listening to ween for over 30 years, been to numerous live shows.. even with my sons and never have i seen this video. BTW.. im the dude on the left..reminds me of an acid trip in 10th grade.. i may or may not have done the exact arm/finger combo.. glad to know i felt it the right way..😂😂
I'll be honest, i was slightly surprised the first time it happened, but then looked at the thumbnail again and was like, come on man, you had to see that comin'. I mean dude just looks like "I touch dwarves" is in his bio.
Underrated genius! Ween is a hidden treasure, a diamond in the rough. Some of the best music and lyrics ever written out of this band, and most people have no idea who they are.
When i first saw the Beavis and Butthead video commentary I always thought the exact line was Uh, these guys , need to shut up and go back to making sandwiches
The real reason it took me 20+ years to get into Ween was the fans. I was an Amphetamine Reptile and Skin Graft kid and I thought Ween fans were morlocks. Basically since 1994 I thought their fandom was composed of thousands upon thousands of Chris Chans. I'm glad I finally saw what the Boredoms saw in them.
Yeah I am a huge Residents fan, and while most of their fanbase is amazing, every show I've ever been to there are like 10 guys there who you could image spend a lot time masterbating into their sisters shoes.
You had a whole universe in your mind there bro, with thousands of Chris Chans no less, glad you made it out and hopefully Ween never writes a song about Sonic’s arms not being blue or you might have a flashback
@@dasenase Oh man, you're right. Stuart's shirt does say Winger. I could have sworn it was Ween. Maybe there is an episode where B&B clown on Ween, too. Maybe now I should give Winger a listen.
@@Learnjapanesefromsomeguy Yeah, they did make fun of the Ween song, ‘Push th' Little Daisies’. Winger rocks-check them out! They released a new album last month called ‘Seven’. Solid release, great musicians!
@@PooboobI believe they didn't understand it, which is par for the course with those two. Lol, Gotta thank that show for introducing me to a lot of music though.
LYRICS: [Verse 1] Is it alive, does it writhe, can it survive under the sun? I can't put my finger on it Is it green, is it red, is it alive or is it dead? I can't put my finger on it Scathe with a lathe, all the days in the past I can't put my finger on it Is it brown, is it white, is it really outta sight? I can't put my finger on it [Verse 2] Can it squeal, does it squirm, if it's fresh will it burn? I can't put my finger on it Can it fly, will it try, if the wings are still wet? I can't put my finger on it Can it heal, is it real, can it feel the threads of time? I can't put my finger on it Does it glow, will it shine, does it leave a trail of slime? I can't put my finger on it [Bridge] Are you surprised when I touch the dwarf inside? I said are you surprised when I touch the dwarf inside? Are you surprised when I touch the dwarf inside? I said are you surprised when I touch the dwarf inside? Yeah [Verse 1] Is it alive, does it writhe, can it survive under the sun? I can't put my finger on it Is it green, is it red, is it alive or is it dead? I can't put my finger on it Scathe with a lathe, all the days in the past I can't put my finger on it Is it brown, is it white, is it really outta sight? I can't put my finger on it
Stumbled across this video the other day, and can't stop watching it. I remembered it from an old Beavis & Butthead episode, happy to have found it again, just chock full of awesomeness. "Does it leave a trail of slime" indeed!
I use to live down the road from where they filled the Middle Eastren Gyro spot on ST.Marks Place in New York City these guy would stand out there shouting out Shish-Ka -Bob. All day.
“Cold Blows The Wind” is my favorite song of theirs. But if you really want to trip on the genius of these guys; check out their old high school “punk” vibe
The rewatchabilty factor of this video is off the fucking chizzy. I've been occasionally watching it when it comes up in feeds for over a decade. It's rare i don't finish it. Like a gyro
I came back to see if the hookah scenes were censored still (as they were the last time I watched this music video). To my surprise, they replaced the boog censors by INVERTING THE COLORS. AND THE BEST PART IS, IT TOTALLY WORKS.
