WEEVIL UNDERWOOD IS THE MOST DANGEROUS VILLAIN IN YUGIOH!!! 

If everyone took Weevil seriously he would be a challenging duelist, I think Kaiba would also see him as a threat but Weevil sometime acts goofy and I think that's the problem because everyone sees Weevil as goofy and weak duelist.

I agree with you completely about Weevill. The way I see it, he's honestly the most dangerous type of Villain at this point: one with nothing left to lose. He's got a good head for Psychology (it takes skill to pull one over on Atem like he did on the train), has a good enough acting skill to briefly fool Kaiba and is desperate enough to be willing to try anything to win. The only reason he loses all the time is due to Plot Armor reasons....

Weevil is one of my favorite. I agree he is very unappreciated

weevil is one of the only duelist in the og series who actually builds his decks with cohesive strategies.

He can be a bit goofy and full of himself at times, but Weevil was always a terrifying opponent. He uses everything at his disposal and won‘t even hesitate to use cheap and unfair methods to give himself an advantage. He is also quite strategic and analytical, even outside of his Duels and does research on anything involved in Tournaments to find loopholes and critical Informations. If he would have the means, he would be more dangerous than other Villains in the Series and start to overshadow through his malice alone. He shares many things with his favorite Monster Card Type, mostly resilience.

Honestly if weevil wasn't still a kid in the show (younger than Yugi) he'd have been a major antagonist He's a threat with pretty weak cards but imagine with more "grown up" versions of insects strats : Insect Princess or Brain Crusher control : turning your own monsters into weapons against you; or the Doom Dozer or the worm warrior, either one he could summon anytime to counter attack he'd be a MENACE

I have watch this last year and forgot to comment and i really like his characters and his deck whis is very fun to use when Yu-Gi-Oh isnt complicated to play but still fun on speed duel that i bought and duel links ❤. Its fine if yall disagree. Though quite sad that they didn't put hes good cards in battle city and on hes last fight against yugi (parasite worm, power boost level 2 and eradicating erasol even though it can only spray one insect in the anime its useful on the last fight against yugi)

I hate weevil so much. Not to mention I ain't the fact that he throw away yugi exodia cards in middle of the ship.

Imho, Weevil would be a real manace if he would learn to think to the end. Most of his plans were genuinely clever in some way, but sadly never finished. Like for example, He found a way to get rid of Yugis Exodia, his at this time of the show unrivaled strongest cards without even dueling him and he managed to lure Yugi into the Forrest were he aimed to get a Field power bonus, But he once failed to keep the rest of Yugis deck and Yugi´s capabilities into account and also compleetly ignored the other half of the Duel field wich Yugi maaged to humiliate him by simply using a monster with the same Attack power who also got a bonus from the field, He also underestimated Yugi for almost the entire Duel (a mistake that always seems to breack him his neck in the end) wich lead to his loss and his emidiate elimination from the Tournament. Then in Battle City his Plan by smuggleing a Card into Joey´s deck to give him a big advantage in his planed Duel with him would have been also pretty ground breaking, if it wouldnt have been, for him again not taking Joey seriously and also not checking for possible counters or outs for Parasite Parasit or like in his duel against Yugi not respecting Joey´s face downs for the entire Duel costing him not one, but his TWO ace monsters in one go. In the Orichalcos arc I cant even really say anything against him, he DID what he could and other than the other two times he indeed had a pretty good strategy this time through out the entire Duel, his only mistake, probably was that he was so full of himself in the end that he thought messing with the Pharao before his Victory was set in stone FOR REAL, otherwise, this was peek Weevil. And during the KC Championship he already was entirely reduced to a comedic side thing just to show of Siegfrieds Power. And last but not least, him and Rex stealing the Millenium Items could probably count as a fail, since they actually wanted to steal Yugi´s God Cards but got the bag with the Items instead, wich led to Yami Bakura getting the Ring back and well, the rest is History (Literally XD) I´m fully aware, that all the Duels were with the goal of Weevil losing in the end since you cant have our protags lose in the preliminaries, but Weevil would have been a way smarter and more threat if he would have learned to plan to the end. (Or added Heavy Storm or some MST´s to his Deck XD) Anyway thank you for this Video, I really liked it

He sounds like the Shou Tucker or Little Finger. That fits. Weevil is named after a genus of bug people underestimate how dangerous to your crops and body they can be. This fits. He is the sort of evil individual who gets to thrive (or at least survive to ruin more lives) because more powerful and or comfortable people now cannot be bothered to go back and do anything about the compromises they rationalized as okay because the war was coming, the reavers were coming, the reapers were coming, the infected were coming, the others were coming. Maybe the compromise was necessary-is it still now, Mr. Pagaseis, Mr. Kaiba, or did you never really care to begin with?

Weevil is a very interesting villain. I believe he would be nearly as evil as Marik, but simply lacks the means to commit evil on the same level. However it kinda works this way with Weevil being this small bug trainer. He covers the weaker, but surprisingly dangerous villain archetype that is slimy and conniving. Works well for a bug duelist.

The most danger was still Bakura ( i mea he litteraly KILL instead of playing card) But yes, weevil Is underrated And honestly his bug deck is Badass

now this most likely just poor writing on the shows part. but weevil was also able to somehow steal the rules for the duel island giving himself an advantage over others. he also somehow knew where the dueling stages would be and was able to lure yugi to it and seemingly summon it through sheer force of will. weevil is secretly a god you cant change my mind

yugioh is a series that has great antagonists/rivals, mediocre protagonists except yusei because he's amazing and very lackluster villains with the exception of yami bakura. The problem with villains in yugioh is that most of them lack a believable reason for why they do the things they do, eg i'm evil because i just am or import stupid reason here and are often just there to fight the protagonist, while yami bakura didn't care about sides and would do anything as long as it was in his best interests and his goal wasn't stupid and based on a stupid reason.

I think you're giving Weevil to much credit and the only reason why he was in the tournament and the only reason why the Orichalcos chose him was because of luck
