@@Typical.Anomaly I was bout to say, all songs are really just the same chords, played at different speeds, octaves, and places within their compositions.
@@burgerking32 You there, young Mexican Spidermin. How'd you like to SMOKE MENTHOLS and STEAL TVs with the power of ancient Japanese secrets of stealth and combat?!
I freaking love Bob-Omb Battlefield. It's one of my happy places. I remember the first time I played Mario 64 at my friend's house as a kid around 1998. I had only played SNES a few times. Taking that wing cap and blasting toward the sky from that flying island was one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had. Flying effortlessly on the breeze, that perfect wing cap music dancing in the background. Dipping down and then soaring back upwards from the momentum. It felt like the sky stretched for miles. You could even see the blinding white sun if you flew at the right angle. Nothing could reach you up there. You could see the whole map and go wherever you wanted! Anything seemed possible. Even today's open world games struggle to compare to the freedom and wonder I felt in that game. Now I'm over 30, and I still go back to Bob-Omb Battlefield on my Switch every now and then, to hear that music and soar once more over the mountain. If I'm lucky, I capture a fleeting spark of that sheer childhood excitement.
This needs to be added into the game. Im glad you followed the actual logic of the song, as the main instrument is the Bob-ombs voice. I'm so glad more people know the truth.
What’s with these Bob-ombs stealing my stars Why have they gotta front What did we ever do to these things To make them so violent Oh oh and you’re player one Oh oh and I’m player two Oh oh and that’s all Ooo wee ooo I look just like Koji Kondo Oh oh and you’re Charles Martinet I don’t care what they say about us anyway I don’t care about that
You know, my inner 2014-Minecraft-parody-lyrics-self got inspired What’s with these Koopas A-Stealing my girl Why do they gotta Bah What did I-a ever Do to their shells That made them so A-Dry! Ya-hoo! But you know I’m-a yours Yee-pee! And I know you-a mine And that’s for all a-time! Wa-hoo-e-o! It’s a-me, Mario! Wah-hoo And you’re-a my Princess Peach I don’t care that you aren’t in this castle I don’t a-care about that! (Ahhh please hit me with a Koopa shell)
The drums seem to be swung just a little bit, and but the synth pad stabs aren't quantized, makes the drum fills on beat 4 sound a bit chaotic. Love this idea.
