Weezer Voyage to the Blue Planet Tour at Moda Center in Portland OR on 10/06/2024 

Sunday, October 6th 2024, Weezer took flight into their Blue Planet Voyage with legendary performance at the Portland venue Moda Center, the most popular and notable arena for events, concerts, and sports games alike. Holding a capacity of about 17500 people for concerts (depending on stage layouts), this was one of the better crowds I’ve seen from all the concerts I’ve been too. People may joke on Weezer all they will, but nothing can stop the Weezeroids’ dedication to their corny music and nerd-like rock music!
This is a POV video of my view from Section 101, Row T, Seat 16. Amazing seats, what an outstanding view and even better sound quality. Only “issue” was there was a column of speakers in the way of the screen, but that’s totally okay I focused much more on the band themselves. As I said though the sound was incredible and the view was by far the best I’ve ever had for any tour, and amazingly cheap, 150 per ticket, if this was Sabrina Carpenter they’d be like 400 per! (No shade on Ms. Carpenter, I wanna see her Short & Sweet tour but scalpers suck!)
What an unforgettable experience though. Weezer was outstanding live. They had a well thought out production, and everything was really well put together! I went with two of my best friends, one of them being a fellow coworker too. Took them both for their birthday, and as they’re both fellow Weezer fans, I figured what better way to spend time together than listening to some sweet live Blue album with other smash hits like Beverly Hills, Island In The Sun, and more!
There’s a story behind getting to this concert, and to keep this short and private basically we almost had to call it off hours before going due to extremely unforeseen circumstances, but I’m really glad we were all able to go. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to see this live, and I can officially confirm that seeing Weezer live was not Only In Dreams, as for dreams do come true when you set your mind to make your own voyage in life! So, with that being said, be sure to enjoy the video as much as I did recording it!
