I did my first dose yesterday. I did it in the front of my thigh like the instructions mentioned. The only thing is I didn't have skin to pinch, so I just stuck it in like an Epi pen shot. The yellow line worked correctly and I heard a click and there was no liquid leaking. I hope I did it correctly because I don't feel a thing. Also, I would've used my stomach, but it mentions not to use it on stretch marks or scars. My stomach is covered in stretch marks. Any tips? Ideas? Do you think I did it correctly? Thank you in advance.

When doing injections in either area do we keep the skin pinched during the entire injection process?

It is preferred to make sure that your needle stays under your skin.

I’ve done 2 injections and after each injection I have the Wegovy medication drip down from the injection site. The last injection I counted to 10 after the injection stop just to ensure the medication would not do it. The first injection was done on my belly, second I did on the thigh. I’m I doing something incorrectly?

Have you tried another injection site or made sure that the pen is completely flat up against your skin before injecting?

I Push pen in and hold it there steady & strong ... and after the 2nd click i count slowly up to 20. No drip whatsoever.

@@mteokay1246 don't pinch the skin. I tried that initially because in nursing school that's what we are taught to do with regular needles but this is a spring loaded needle and doesn't work well with pinching the skin. Best site for be has been the thigh as shown in this video but DON'T pinch the skin. Just press down in a swift, firm motion and it'll be fine! If you do the abdomen, try tensing your muscles first to firm up the area
