I've been Wegovy since late April of 2022 and I am down 95 pounds! I've been down 95 pounds since mid December and have just been maintaining :) Good luck on your journey!!
Thanks for sharing your story! I’m on .5mg of wegovy at the moment, down 15lbs… but I’ve been counting calories, light exercise and keeping snacks out the house. No side effects. I see it as a little insurance policy for my efforts. I’m have no health issues(none) other that being clinically obese.
I just took my first Wegovy shot tonight and am praying for success on my weight loss journey. I decided to do injections on Friday night in case I have reactions I can deal with it on my weekend. 🤞
Thank you! I’m currently waiting another two weeks for mine. There seems to be a shortage. This is one of the most real vids I have seen on Wegovy since I started down this rabbit hole a week ago. I appreciate that you were willing to share. Again, many thanks!
Just literally took my first shot (.50) about 20 minutes ago and then went straight to RU-vid. I’ve been researching but finding your page is FATE!!! I have a friend who lost +- 100lbs in one year on Wegovy. She is on maintenance now. She had all of the side effects and has been a wealth of knowledge. My PA started me on .50 since I have been on SAXENDA since last year. I am switching since I plateaued at the highest dose. Following your journey as I start mine ❤.
I’m glad to hear someone else hit a plateau on saxenda. It helped me a lot the first time around, but this time-nothing. I’m more active, I’m eating better-still nothing. Hopefully wegovy will be helpful.
Hi beautiful! I lost 12 pounds within my first month of using Ozempic, at 0.25mg. Tonight I will take my second dose of 0.50 mg (this is my 6th week mark). I have had no noticeable side effects until I titrated up to the 0.50. My appetite has significantly decreased and I have to prepare my mind and stomach to eat something. I am optimistic that I will adjust to this dosage fine, as long as I keep up on my electrolytes (iv hydration, gatorlyte, supplements). I notice that when I stay hydrated and when I keep up on my pre/probiotics I tend to feel a lot better.
As a pharmacist I’m so sorry that we in healthcare failed you, your pharmacist should have definitely explained the medication and side effects with you. Have always loved your videos! ❤
*Based on the lack of information when it comes to say🤔contents of the c0vid vaccines. There were none on the inserts and pharmacists can’t know something that isn’t there and then things become try at your own risk🤷🏽♀️ not necessarily the pharmacist’s fault.*
Hi everybody!!! I just received my Wegovy today, I’m excited and a little nervous. I’m setting my first injection with a nurse. I’m detoxing before I start. Also I will prepare healthy snacks like fruit, oatmeal. Baked chicken. I’m praying for no side affects or at least the minimal. I hit the subscription! Thank you for the all the good tips!😊
@itsjustme Your doc has to send a preauthorization to your insurance. However, you must fall within their requirements such as a BMI over 30ish ( icantrememeber). Ozempic is the same drug but different requirements. Ultimately you need to see if its even covered with your insurance, then have the doctor send the preauthorization as mentioned She explains the process in the video
My blood panel always shows normal glucose range around 80. My sis told me hers was the same but her A1C read 6.4 which is pre-diabetes. They wanted her to take metformin. I asked my doc to do an A1C for me and it came back 6.1 which is also in pre-diabetic range. I was shocked you could have normal blood sugar and be pre. I was taking phentermine on and off to lose weight but it stops working and is not the safest. He prescribed Wegovy the morning of my blood draw to see if it would be approved for weight loss. With previously taking weight loss med and a BMI over 30 it was approved. I finally got brave enough to take the first injection today. I’m needle queasy but it was so easy not painful in any way. Blue Cross told me my copay would be $60; when Walmart called and said it was ready they told me it would be $29. However if you go to Wegovy or Ozempic website there is a copay card you can sign up for. When I presented it to Walmart my copay was $0….ZERO. I believe Monjauro has a similar offer. Anyway, I’m hoping to get weight off my short frame. I’m 5’3 and weigh 219; I was sz 4 and played a ton of sports but genetics will eventually catch up if you lose focus. Thank you for this post and best of luck to you in your journey!
Hey BFH! I am now on my 5th week of ozempic. I am glad you made this review because the same thing happened to me with the info or lack there of from my doctor. I also did a lot of research because the second week I felt so much gas pains and realized that the foods I was eating were affecting me. So I cleaned up what I was eating. No greasy foods, I only drink water, some dairy. I try to stay away from gassy foods. I’ve been losing an average of 2lbs a week. I have pcos so my periods are also non existent. Keep up the good work and please keep sharing your progress. Not many people open up about these things and hence why we go through the rabbit hole of information. 😂 Can’t wait for your next update!
@@lf9341 I stopped for 3 months to try to conceive, but since I haven’t as of yet I am going back on to loose more weight. I have been getting my cycle every month. Still not every 28 days but definitely closer than ever before. Overall I’ve lost almost 50 lbs. I’m going for another 20-30 lbs atleast to be under the 200’s. And then ttc again.
Omg i just started useing Ozempic a week ago and lost 6lbs :) I'm glad to know that I can have this journey with you! I've been watching your video for 10 years!! Please please keep updating your journey too😄 I'm trying to lose 39lbs
So glad I found this page. I’ve been prescribed Wegovy. I wasn’t really given any information other than it would help with weight loss. I’ve been having difficulty losing weight and wanted to speak to my Dr to see why. Tests were run and somehow I’m pre-diabetic. I haven’t taken my first dose because I’m trying to do all the research I can. I’m very nervous but also determined to keep bay health in check. Hopefully this works. Looking forward to more videos. ❤
Before you even said that you were a makeup artist I said to my husband “ oh her makeup jammin” I start my Wegovy journey today. Thank you for the tips!
Bone broth is also great with keeping your salt intake level good and should combat the nausea and also it's a great way to prepare your stomach for food if you haven't eaten in a while.
This is a great recap. I take my 4th -.25 injection tomorrow and have had little to no side effects. Looking forward to this journey. Wishing you success 🎉
Side effects are in your future the dose is not high enough yet but a little nausea is not the end of the world. Use nausea as a guide for what not to eat. If I eat something and it makes me nauseous I will generally avoid that in the future or be mindful when I eat it the next time. I am down 100 lbs
Keep up the great work!!! I have been on Ozempic since the end of 2022 and so far I am down 35.5 LBS so far. Plus I have been on a very strict keto lifestyle and have had no side effects so far.
Since so many people liked my comment I’ll update ☺️. I’m now on week 2 of .5ml very little side effects, mild constipation and a little nauseous when I eat too much sugar but I’m down 11.2 lbs. I think I will stay at this dosage next month. I have not done any exercise.
Great to see you back girl. I am looking forward to more content from you. I have had great results since starting this class of medication last November and have lost 42 lbs so far. Some random nausea and vomiting especially during dosage transitions, but not unmanageable as long as I stay hydrated. I'm up to 1.7 mg now. Best of luck.
Thank you for this video. I lost 21 lbs (of the 100 I need to lose) in 5 weeks w/ diet and exercise and no booze while waiting for insurance approval. I got the first 2 months of wegovy and have been debating about taking the first dose for weeks due to side effects and the thought that I can maybe lose it all without. After watching your video, I did my first injection! Hope I'm lucky and have minimal side effects 🙏 . Thank you!
Omg! I’m so glad that I could help to give you that extra push! You’re doing great! I too cut out drinking and must attribute some of my success to that as well. It’s really helped with prioritizing my sleep schedule and I hope it does the same for you. You got this💪🏽 So glad we’re in this together❤️
I am definitely on the same journey as you are . I have to stick to not snacking . I do not have the issues of not feeling full . I remember my cousin was on something similar to this 20 years ago and the side effects sounds similar .
Your doctor sent you to a NUTRITIONIST and her recommendation was a MEDICATION??? Lawd. Anyway, the first part of your video reminded me of Jenn J’s recent video about her health/fertility journey. She had never had a regular cycle either, but she was able to see a naturopath who got to the root of the issue. Your body can almost always heal itself if you give it what it needs. I hope you find a provider that actually cares about your health and not just trying to push meds. You deserve to be healthy and happy. ❤
I’m on Victoza. I’ve just been diagnosed with PCOS. I’ve always had irregular periods, but this last time I went over 2 years without a period. I also didn’t have insurance for years and couldn’t do anything about it. I put on 40lbs in 2 years due to my hormonal imbalance. Like you, doctors have always told me to get on brith control. I have insurance now and I’m desperate, so currently I’m on birth control and a daily injectable ‘Victoza’ I’m down 6 lbs in 2 weeks and I’m feeling soooo much better. ♥️
Have you ever considered changing your diet? I went vegan for a period of time and it helped overall. I think if you eat a lot of food with hormones like chicken, you should cut it out or really limit it in your diet, or eat only organic chicken and meats directly from a farm. Chicken with hormones is a huge problem for women and our bodies
@@PhoenixFiyah I’ve been vegan and vegetarian before that. It didn’t change my hormonal imbalance. Unfortunately, for me, this is something that needs to be treated with the help of doctors and medicine. I’ve struggle with PCOS symptoms my entire life. I do think a vegan diet would help so many women though. My issues are deeper than diet alone.
Just got my wagovy today! I will keep you posted. Also, I noticed on the package it needs to be kept in the refrigerator! Something people need to know. Thank you for the video.
Your face is literally perfect! Here in the UK we are waiting on Wegovy, its been authorised but just waiting for the stock. In the meantime I have started on Ozempic and loving it after years of struggling with over eating. This video is really helpful! Thank you!
I just started my wegovy journey ❤❤❤ I'm 286 pounds at 5"3 so I hope this works out for me , today is day 1.. I wrote a list of the items you mentioned in the video..thank you so much ❤
Thanks for doing this. I am on day 5 of Wegovy & am down 5lbs so far. I had already lost 8lbs on my own just waiting to be able to find Wegovy in stock somewhere. So far so good. I got your starter pack from Sam's & began all of that a couple of weeks before I got the meds. No side effects so far! It's a struggle to get calories in because I am just not hungry, but I've been shooting for at least 1500 with my current weight. Anyway, thanks for the tips!
Thanks for sharing your story! I am on week three of .50 and still haven’t had any side effects; the appetite suppression and satiety are great! I wish you success on your weight loss journey!❤🎉
@@msGOLDNCHYLD I’m gonna stay at 1.44mg or 60units every other week or maybe every 10 days…like I’m supposed to do a shot tonight but I’m gonna wait till Thursday or Friday!
@@mcharles9303 I don’t know…but weight loss is a lifestyle change so I know if I want to maintain this I can’t go back to eating the way I was before! Plus I’m peri menopausal so I might have to for a little while!
Hello Tatiana, your videos are such a blessing to me. My doctor has prescribed wegovy for me. I picked it up today and will begin on Saturday. I am very much in agreement with getting info from the horses mouth. I will head to Costco on Friday to get EVERYTHING you recommend. I've been taking B-12 for some time, so I'm good there. I will continue to follow your progress. Thank you ❤
Thanks for sharing have my .25 and plan on taking first shot on Monday. My insurance covered it 100%😊 excited and cant wait to start journey...need to lose 50lbs. Thanks for the tips and will be getting everything u suggested!!
My physician prescribed it today. My insurance said prior authorization could take up to 72 hrs. My doc called them right away and it was approved and filled within an hour. I used the coupon from their website and paid nothing for it. My primary care doctor prescribed it with no issues. I asked about it, she said it works and wished me luck.
Obesity is a deeper problem than how someone looks. People need to realise that if those problems are not addressed an injection or pill will only ever be a temporary fix, which will lead to weight regain (and likely extra gain). I like that at least you talked about the side effects and some behavioural changes. I have just done a video on Ozempic discussing both sides and long term healthier alternatives, give it a watch.
Thank you so much for sharing. My primary care doctor suggested it to me today. Going down my rabbit hole and so glad I found your video. I to have pcos and have been struggling. I’m at the point where I want a hysterectomy because of it. Will be 40 in September. Thank you again.
One it's so good to see you! I watched you way back on the day day. Two, I love how you rolled out this video and talked us through your experience and what you're doin/plan. I would love to continue to hear about your journey on wegovy. Thanks for sharing.
First, I'm distracted by this natural beat face and hair!!!🤣 Love the look!!! Now, on the topic, thank you for sharing! I'm just contemplating starting and have researched myself crazy!!! Got approved and just was notified it's being delivered today, even with the shortages, happened 2 weeks after being ordered. Like you, I did the steps without actually planning to do the steps or knowing about it!
Ty for this very informative and real video.. I’m taking my first shot tomorrow night. Looking forward to following you along with my journey.

I just started on wegovy your video is very informative. I am looking forward to hearing more about what it is. You’re doing too go through this process. I think it is a valuable video for others also. Thank you for sharing.
Hey, I stumbled upon your video. Love it. I’ve been on Wegovy for a few weeks. I do have a hugely reduced appetite and a lot of nausea. I think your tips will help. ALSO, I stopped having my period for a year when I was 30. No kids. Just stopped. Took 4 different gynos to tell me something other than “sometimes this just happens.” Seriously. That’s all the help I got. They wanted to put me on birth control too. I finally found a gyno who did a blood test on my PROLACTIN LEVEL. turns out mine was very very elevated. Got on a certain med and boom all is good now. I hope you read this. Ask for this test if they haven’t done it. Prolactin levels rise when you are pregnant and that’s what makes your period stop and helps produce milk. I was not pregnant and I did not lactate although some with elevated levels will. Anyway just my first thought when you said that. Good luck with Wegovy. I hope we all do well!! Xx
I am so glad I am a advid comment reader. I have been having issues with my cycles as well, but it's a little different for me because I have had a thermal ablation 20 yrs ago when I was 20yrs old. However within the first 6 months I started having cycles again. 😢 up until this year. Didn't have one this whole year until after my first shot of Semaglutide. I appreciate your comment, I will definitely ask my doctor to test my prolactin levels.
@@alicesonbell7207 ugh. It all just sucks so much. My friend had the ablation and her period stopped. Then a few years later something caused her to go to the gyno and they said s something about it maybe wasn’t done properly. To be honest I cannot remember, but ended up needing a D&C. I can find out if you’d like. Feel free to DM me. Just reference this. It sucks this women stuff is SOOO complicated.
@@owenbunny I know mine was early onset ablation failure. When it was done, the doctor told me afterwards that I have a heart shaped uterus and that he wasn't able to reach the two upper corners with the type of ablation I had. But, I didn't mind much because at least they were very lite cycles. But after never having cramps, ever in my life, the last 20 yrs feels like labor each time my cycle starts. I have also had to have surgeries for endometriosis which is why I had my tunes tied and the thermal ablation done at 20 yrs old.
Hey, is this Tatiana, who's dad was so mad, he was two nuggets short of a Happy Meal...lol. This is Lou DiDonato from the Morgandale days. Congratulations on your channel, career, and baby. Thanks for sharing your information on Wegovy. My doctor suggested I look into this medicine and Saxenda. I actually watched your third video first and am working my way backwards (**Spoiler Alert**you're doing great!) I definitely hit the weight loss wall since I stopped my exercise routine and I now lack focus in what I eat. Also, hitting my mid 40's doesn't help either. I struggle from dedicating more of my time to work and chauffeuring my 11 and 7 yos around (**actual Spoiler Alert** it doesn't get any easier as they get older, they just get more independent...sometimes). My goal is to be more of the active dad instead of the "my everything hurts because I'm too heavy for my joints now" dad. So, you have motivated me to do more research, I'll stay tuned for any updates on your journey and may your blessings continue!! '
Great to see you back on RU-vid! This is great info, my dad is on ozempic for diabetes and I’ll be sharing your tips for his nausea. ❤ I hope you plan to update us as you go?
Hello! I think that it is fantastic that you are willing to chronicle your Wegovy journey. Thank you for sharing! Please include the side effects from your weekly dosage increases.
So today i’ll be taking my 2nd injection (week 2) & thus far i’ve loss 8lbs. Not really exercising but i do drink lots of water. I’m on the 0.25 injection of Wegovy and i’m less hungry. I do have to remind myself to eat all the time. I’m super excited. I also did a ton of research before taking this injection. I do now take the stairs at work and do a nice amount of walking
I have been on wegovy 10 for about two weeks . I have experienced no negative side effects . I actually feel more energetic and my anxiety and depression have improved . I have lost about 5 pounds in a week . I’m exercising and being mindful of what I eat. I’m taking B complex too
TikTok has been great with exposing people to the benefits of this medication but this review was thorough and detailed. Thank you so much! Please please please share more; daily meals, routines and anything that would help increase overall health while in wegovy and not just the medication ❤❤❤❤
So I started my Ozempic this past Sunday 4/2 with no side effects. My co-worker said she had really bad nausea and diarrhea for a week when she first started taking it but subsided going into her second week. When I took my shot, it didn’t hurt but it also seem like nothing was injected, I know it did because I can see it in my window indicator. I’ve felt the same as in terms of eating, I recently started intermittent fasting but got off track when on vacation a couple weeks ago. Today makes three full days and I think I’ve lost 2 pounds which isn’t surprising, I can lose 1-5 pounds just by drinking lots of water during the week. I’m interested to see if anything changes. Thank you so much for your update, I will be back for your progress and to see what other subscribers are having.
Just starting week 2. The first few days I got worried that I was going to get sick from malnutrition, throwing up, feeling sick but have gotten the hang of it mostly. First few days were tough. Constipation. Supplemented with fiber gummies and eating oatmeal in the mornings. Had to give up bananas. Before I started this I was doing volume eating with heavy veggies then protein but I can't eat that much now. Also cannot eat at night. So, new way of eating smaller more concentrated meals but still get enough fiber and protein is key. Just got the zero sugar propel because I'm in Arizona and really worried about dehydration this summer.
Congrats on the wait lost! I'm on Mounjaro. Make sure to count your protein as well as calories because you don't want loose skin (replace with muscle). I'm sure you already know. Can't wait to follow up on your journey. 🙂
I sure as hell don’t intend to take this drug all my life. There is serious risk to kidneys. Your approach is exactly what i want too: use it as an opportunity to change my habits without making it a full time job. Thanks for this great video❤
Youre not inteded to take it forever. The goal is over time, your mentality changes on how and what and when you eat and you dont become reliant on the drug.
I just stated last week as well. No problems so far but I am down 5lbs since March 7. I have subscribed so I can compare notes. I plan on 3 months of doing this to see what happens. I am also getting B12 injections. Look forward to checking out your previous makeup tutorials, you look amazing.
Thank you for sharing! My doctor prescribed Ozempic to me a year ago (before the hype lol) but unfortunately my insurance declined because it was prescribed for what was considered “off label”. I was bummed because my doctor stated that the initial research and studies for weight loss look so promising. I appreciate your idea of seeking out an endocrinologist because I feel certain my hormones are off. I will try this route to see if I can get my insurance to approve it. Good luck and please keep sharing!!! 🤗
If your doctor prescribed it you can always just pay for it out of pocket and not have be approved by insurance. Most insurance don’t cover weight loss drugs
Please, please do your research. My friend was on it although she lost weight she was having thyroid problems. You know there are sidd effects to all medications. Also, be informed about constipation. Talk with your doctor about anything you feel. This is like Ozempic, which was originally taken for diabetes. Then it went viral for weight loss. Also, you may find it hard to get, and some places are charging over $1,000 for these medications with insurance because of popular demand.
How about you do your research on the med… no shade but glp1 have been around for a moment… a lot of these people obese/overweight fare insulin resistant… this is no different from other chronic diseases that need tools to help get under control… people are upset bc people are using this to get lose weight and bypass the further chronic issues of obesity… I would pay $1000/mnth to help w the food noise - but only those that know know
Laughing at your honesty! I've been prescribed Ozempic, a few days ago and planning on starting Monday, 3 days from now. Male, 62 years old, 6'1, 255 lbs, and cronic A- Fib, i'm always tired, ALWAYS! I carry all my weight is in my gut region. I haven't been getting enough exercise, nor sleep. I understand this has to do with my weigh gain. I'm seeing cardiologists in a few days and expect him to recommend me for an oblation. Between getting my heart back in normal rhythm, where i can DO ANYTHING without needing a nap, eating right and the assist of Ozempic, i'm excited to turn the corner, back to a healthy life style.
I am with my sister, I just started Ozempic last week, I have lost 6 pounds in the first week also. I have no side effects except constipation… due to slow gastric emptying. I was also a person who never felt full. I am hopeful that this will help us 🙏🏽
Greasy food hasn't made me nauseas at all but it makes me have to go to the bathroom an hour later. However - it just helps counteract any constipation. I've never lost my appetite entirely on Wegovy. I eat less at each meal but I'm still hungry for my meals.
Thank you for sharing this info. I’m currently down the same rabbit hole you first went thru. Today I did my 1st dose and crossing my fingers for side effects. Had already started b12 about a month ago in no way connected to prepping for Wegovy. Your awesome! Thank for the inspiration
Hey Beatface 🍯!! I remember you from instagram , and i have your song on my phone til this day . And anytime my phone plays it , I still dance with my steering wheel ! Slay to the Godzzzz !!!! Slay slay to the godzzz ! I’m here looking for info today is my day 1 on zepbound 2.5 ! I’ll be all through your posts ! Nice to run back into you ‘ ❤❤❤
Im so glad I found your video because I’m literally going through what you went through. My period is out of whack that I’m anemic now. I went to see an OB and they pretty much told me to go on birth control too. Right now I’m trying to see if my PD will prescribe me the medicine.
