I am 61 and started your workouts in May 2023 along with some cardio and changing my eating habits and I have lost about 28 pounds and developed some muscle definition! I have been repeating your 30 minute workouts and have increased my weights significantly! 💪💪💪💪I love your workouts and I am so grateful to have found you! I really appreciate your honesty ! No gimmicks, no empty promises! Just hard work and consistency! Built with dumbells!! I love it!!!!! Thank you!!!

I’ve just completed my first week of 3x of your weekly program . I’m 66, in good physical health for my age, and have little experience with weightlifting. That's so great to hear! A 55 year young neighbor told me she's too old to exercise.😲. I told her to check out Japanese fitness trainer Takishima Mika who's 93 this year. Amazing!

Hi Cheryl, I have been an athlete and a fitness instructor for over 40 yrs. I am 64. I just last week came across one of your videos. This was a day that I didn't feel up to my intense 1 hr plus cycling workout, but knew I needed something. I was blown away by the straightforward, no nonsense, intelligent approach that you offered... I am so excited to finally have a video "friend" to work out with who shares my views on exercise, who is not out there to look "pretty" or sell something. Thank you, thank you for being you and sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us, whether we are beginners or seasoned fitness based people.. Your confidence is inspiring.

Please don't stop the 30 minute workouts. I rely on them three times a week and I've built muscle.. was not looking to lose weight but to maintain almost 60 and I've gotten so much muscle mass from your workouts. Thanks again!

Hello! Please don't stop your 30 minute follow along videos! I'm 51, and have been searching for exactly what you are providing for many years. Simple, easy to follow, effective and no 'fluff'. I feel like these videos are tailor made for me (or anyone over 50 ish for that matter) and not like I'm following along to an overly energetic 20 year old whom I will never look like again! I appreciate the amount of time that must go into creating the videos each week. But, it is truly appreciated. I've been doing the workouts 2 - 3 times a week since October 2023, and can already see and feel a difference. Something no other previous workout has accomplished. I also enjoy listening to your backstory and your 'what I eat in a day' content. It really helps for meal and snack inspiration. I also enjoy your format of wearing a mic during the workout - it does help to hear how hard you are working! I hope you hear from all from all of the comments how much you are appreciated. And, I truly hope the 30 minute weekly videos continue to be worthwhile for you.

I’m 56 and just found your channel. I absolutely love your 30 min workouts 😍 Bare feet are great as I feel really stable when I squat. I also love your different coloured gym clothes because I can easily find the workout I’m doing for the week amongst all your posts I’ve saved. At the gym lifting weights 2x week x 30 minutes I gained 1.5 lbs muscle overv3 months. I was thrilled. I know the nutrition and macros and follow. Yes it takes longer with age but I’m okay with that. Walk outside daily x 30 min most days

Cee I began your workouts in July of this year. I do the 30 min 3x/wk and can honestly say it has been the best workout for me at 60. That being said, this is a great workout schedule for any gender at any age for someone who wants to remain fit and maintain muscle. Your hard work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated and I am so grateful that you take the time to share your knowledge and time with all of us. Please continue but don’t burn yourself out in the process ❤

I'm 63 and just found your workouts. I started working with weights when I was 30. I fell off the wagon when I when through menopause. When I tried to start up again after about a 5 year hiatus and I kept getting injured. Then I would have to take a few months to recover. I think I've finally found someone who can give me some solid guidance. I'm not trying to be a hero so I'm starting with 5 lb. weights. And I'm in it for the long haul so please don't go anywhere. I'm doing the 40 minute workouts 3 times per week. I like no nonsense approach so I think what you have been doing is great.

Lady C, you are the best thing that has happened to me in many years. I started with you this year but June 17th I started the 30 min 3x a week. It took me a bit to understand doing the same routine 3x’s a week, but I did it two weeks in a row and understood. I’m 58 and I work in the operating room on my feet up to 10 hour days lifting and pulling patients. You have made my life livable. Finding you has kept me from injury, physically and mentally. Your routines help with both. I tell people about you all the time. Just today I was showing a lady about you on RU-vid. You are a vital part of so many peoples lives. I understood everything you said in your video. I plan to stay with you as long as you’re here. I appreciate all you have done with your RU-vid and instagram. I appreciate your video today! I’ve been watching on and off for maybe six months but I have just joined a HOTWORX gym and they have free weights there so I took you along with me today and I did the 30 minute whole body workout and it was perfect. I am a firm believer that you don’t need to spend hours in the gym and I appreciate your simple and efficient workout.I love the supersetting as an efficient use of time. Hi Cheryl! Wanted to give you feedback and appreciation for all you are doing. I am a fairly new subscriber who just turned 47 this month, found your channel a couple months ago. Please don't stop what you're doing! The 30 min. full body workouts are perfect, your information is practical and easy to follow. Being able to work out either at home or in the gym is invaluble, and I have done both with your programs so far. I am still struggling a bit with my own consistency, however I am not done, just getting back in the swing of things. I am an ER nurse, on my feet 12 + hours, so need your program to help me stay strong! I have lifted weights off and on in the gym, at times very consistently, losing 50 lb 2 years ago. Within the past year I gradually stopped going to the gym and doing the 45 min-1 hr long, intense workouts. It suddenly started to get harder for me to recover. I was sore and fatigued all the time - from what I researched it could be perimenopause hormonal shifts triggering inflammation, as there were no other changes. I've also put on about 20 lb in the last year, no suprise there. Like you, I also struggle with winter seasonal changes - each time I put on 10 lb, it's been in December when it really gets cold in the mountains of North Carolina. Your routines leave me feeling exercised and satisfied - not dead with fatigue, not overly sore. I am still learning my way around your page to find the 30 min workout of the week. Also love that you explain correct form as you're doing the movement. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world - you're doing a lot of good!

Oh my gosh I’m so glad I watched this! PLEASE DON’T stop the 30 minute follow along work outs! I’m 66 and did the all the split work outs first as that is how I’ve always worked out..then to the 30 minute but 3 different ones during the week. Finally I have been doing the same 30 minute follow along and I always move up in weight just like you said. My 65 year old husband is 1 month in doing same and I have never seen him so consistent with weight training! We love you!!!!!❤

At 68 and losing muscle tone discernably. I started yr weights workouts 8 weeks ago and see some positive changes in my legs, feel stronger and feel like it’s helping my ouchy shoulders. Not in a rush and want to go this longhaul. Moreover am so impressed I have this dedication to 3x per week, bc I can relate well to this new kind of workout through what and how you do it. Your content is amazing and I am truly grateful to have found it!

I am 64 years of age and so very happy to finally find someone who understands what the challenges are to getting in regular workouts but not spending everyday working out at home or gym. I love the platform of 30 minute workouts 3 times a week, allowing me to strengthen and build muscles but also allows me to use alternate days for mobility classes, walking outside, or just enjoying free time. Please continue to do 30 minute classes, we love them. Thank you for all your hard work, you are appreciated.

New camera makes a big difference. So much clearer. I LOVE your 30 min follow alongs. I have been doing them since June and have gained so much strength. I loved when we got a new video each Monday but I understand it's alot of work. I see many people comment they are watching and working out with you so I am not sure what you are questioning. Are you looking for "likes" or "comments" to show engagement or do views indicate engagement? Tell me what to do and I'll do it to keep the workouts coming. Thank you so, so much for sharing today! Thank you for sharing your back story. I love your 30 minute workouts. It is so helpful that the warm up and cool down are included in the same video. I usually pause the video and finish the set at my own pace then restart the video. I am fairly new to strength training and your videos are immensely helpful. Thank you!

I'm 46, in meno for 2 years, I've been doing okay but over the last couple of years I have worn myself so thin, just doing what I had been doing for the previous 2.5 decades of my life. Having a reset now, reformulating, getting my adrenals calmed a bit before easing back into something that fits my today life. You are an inspiration ♥ gives me hope I am on the right path.

Thank you for your honest and inspiring background. I am 69, have done weight training, cardio, and Pilates for years. After a couple of surgeries in 2023, I have spent a lot of time on RU-vid to find something beneficial for my age and condition. Your 30 minute workouts are just what I want and can easily incorporate in my small at-home gym, and continue outside walking throughout the week. I will definitely continue using your previous videos and jump on board to support anything new that you provide. Wishing us all good health in 2024!

WOW, how kind of you to take the time for this video, much appreciated. Looking at some of the comments, you are very appreciated and I am one of them too who appreciates you. I am 72 and have commented before how I have a couple of friends in their 60's that are working with you too. I can't imagine having a full time job and also making weight training videos. I started watching weight training videos during the pandemic and fell in love with them. We don't have a gym anywhere close and I prefer to exercise at home anyway. Came across your channel about a year ago and you explain things as to how and why we are doing certain exercises. Very important. Also, I started to increase my weights, I hadn't done that in the past, which has made a difference. So, just a BIG thank you for this.

I like your 30 minute videos, because I've gained a lot of strength from them, but I love them because I've really grown in my confidence. Please keep them coming. I like the quicker 30 minute videos. I think a Q&A about form or diet once a week would be nice too. Thank you for all you do!

I discovered your channel through a member of my female only FB Fitness Group. When I saw 30 mins to build muscle I was in. I'm 44. I finished video 21 last week and started back from video 1 this week. I am SO MUCH STRONGER. I wake up 4am and get my one hour in...30 mins of your workout, add-ons like core and cardio like a 2 mile jog. I appreciate how calm you are and that, like me, you are working out in your home. Cheryl - please keep on with the 30 min supersets - they are so good and I have been dedicated to doing them 3X/week. I started following you last year but became more serious about working out 3X/week this past January. I print off a calendar each month and log which workouts I”m doing and what activities I do on my off days (yoga. walking, etc). I even shifted to doing the same 30 minute work out 3X/week and increasing the weight to build strength. I can feel the difference! Now, I walk 30 minutes each day as well so that I can hit the 10K steps/day and aid longevity. Why do I keep working out with you? You add no extra “fluff” to the sessions and keep it short and efficient so that I really have no reason why I can’t fit it in my day (usually early every morning). You are clear about proper form and explain the value of each superset with enough information. I hope this community continues to grow for you!

I LOVE the follow along workouts! I do them consistently three days a week at 30 minutes . I also follow along with your core, upper and lower body workouts you have on your channel, once a week respectively. Just adding to the feedback to help you. I’m 57, and I’ve been using your workouts since January. 3x30 mins is perfect for me and has definitely built muscle strength and volume. I prefer 3 different workouts a week so your 21 videos covers 7 weeks. That’s an amazing resource you have built, free to us to use. You are such a breath of fresh air my dear! I worked out in a gym(beside and with the bodybuilding crew)from age 19 into my late 20s. It was my favorite place to be aside from being outside. Weight training was my fix, my stress relief, my safe place. Through my 30s, I became wife,mom, and seasons changed. I still worked out, but 3 days a week was as good as it got. I now homeschool our five children, we have a farm, life is full but time is precious, lol. I turned 50 this year as well, and I feel great. I am trying to figure out where to start after not consistently weight training for nearly 3 1/2 years. I need it. Hence, when I found your page, I knew this could be the next path forward to get back into weight training. Thanks!
