i was forcing food to get 3000 calories a day in...i barely do any physical activity and my life is very sedentary...i gained a shitload of weight...i’m talking i went from 155 to like 210...i’ve recently just been eating like 2000 calories a day and my weight has been dropping off...all i know is i don’t feel like i’m forcing in the calories like i used to

man I kept trying plant based for years. Unfortunately just couldn’t get the body I wanted with it .I finally did DNA test turns out my dads people were from Iceland .There is not access to plants there .They lots of fish and meat .My moms side is Native and Irish .Again my ancestors from reservations evolved eating mostly meats .I’m doing way better cutting out starches and eating greens and lean meats .I tried so long to make vegan work .My face has slimmed down so much .I’m feeling well enough to exercise again .Now don’t get me wrong I think Carnivore is crazy and unhealthy.I still enjoy your channel especially the religious stuff .I do follow some of Ray Peats work .I do have a cup of orange juice in the morning .Wish all of you well

if I remember correctly - you mentioned one time that there was a study where they feed potatoes and fat to people and they lost weight eating all they wanted - this line of thinking/eating mentioned on Strong Sistas seems to go with that study

By the way, Healthy Emmie has changed her diet and is eating more protein and fats now...still eating carbs too. I'm going to Panama for Christmas and may not return. It looks fabulous and warm! I'm so over cold weather.

I would pee every three hours at the end of each sleep cycle and go right back to sleep really easy when I was 100% raw vegan fruit based 80/10/10 style. I would sleep 12 hours too, but I felt AMAZING during the day. So much energy. But I could only sleep well if I ate minimum 3000 cals a day from fruit. That was before cane sugar supplementation.

Eating 3000 calories from fruit in one day is impossible for me, even if I eat dates and raisins. Even more than 2000 calories from fruit in one day is almost impossible for me.

@@highcarbregenerator Yeah well when I was doing this I was living in the tropics and we just went to bed when sun went down around 8pm and would be up by 8am, I mean, theres plenty of time in the day there but we were just eating fruit and doing fitness or going to the beach. When I would do it when I was home in the states I was not working at that time besides trimming weed here and there. I was early 20s then. Now I eat fruit for breakfast and lunch and do cooked dinners and im sleeping 9 hours to feel my best. If I work out really hard one day and eat a lot I can sleep even longer. I love sleep. The more I get the better I always feel during the day.

@@jonathanr5184 Yeah I find when I eat the whole fruit its much harder to get 3000 calories from fruit unless its mango and like different varieties of banana or mamey or green sapote. Also champedek. Or like perfect ripe melons. But if I dont have access to that stuff like trying to eat more than 500 calories of grapes or something in a meal is hard. And cavendish bananas I pretty much have to blend, so I can get down enough. Same with dates, I dont like eating them whole unless super gooey and fresh, especially Barhi variety which are more smooth and caramel and dont burn the throat like medjools can. So year right now I eat about 1500 cals a day from fruit because of the kind of fruit I have access to.

I enjoy their videos and appreciate the perspective. I don’t agree with 100% of what they say, but there is something to be said for not eating enough calories. They have me convinced, though on limiting Pufas/omega 6. I’d like for you to have the strong sistas and Kathleen Stewart on your program.

21:30 of course you urinate a lot if your sodium intake is very low and potassium intake very high. Sodium retains water and potassium is acting as diuretic.. That's exactly what bodybuilders or athletes do when they want flush all the water from their system. They drink a lot of water, increase potassium and completely eliminate sodium from the diet.. You urinate like crazy and flush water from your system. The body can't hold it without sodium.. Excess sodium is bad, too little sodium even worse. Older people are dying from hyponatremia all the time..

when the cells ar elow in energy they lose potassium very fast. When a person finishes the refeeding he will not urinate much.

I am aware of this my body has a reaction to salt it almost backs away from it. Celtic salt I can tolerate at least.

I hope you can interview these girls that would be really helpful, I unfortunately have a very short torso with long gigantic ridiculously long femur bones , I can for sure say that doing squats is a little uncomfortable, my knees will always always always always go over my toes and there's nothing I can do about it, my upper body wants to tilt forward , I cannot keep my upper body straight up no matter how hard I try because of these giraffe femurs

@@highcarbregenerator I still do squats because of the benefits and the muscles they work But I just can't do perfect Looking picture perfect squats I can't do perfect technique whatever that is I can only do my technique I adjust it to accommodate my Giant femurs

@@daysoftheboo wider leg stance will do it but the muscles used in squaring is also used in deadlift. Also don’t have your back too vertical in the squat that isn’t needed. You have much better leverage when the back is forward and the bar is lower sitting on the shoulder girdle. It’s all about optimal lever arm

@@highcarbregenerator do you have a RU-vid video or can you recommend a video that demonstrates how to do this squat that you described? When I do deadlifts I feel it in my glutes hamstrings and lower back and I need to strengthen my lower back, when I do squats I feel it in my glutes quads and the inner thigh muscles I forgot what they're called, I do barbell squats dumbbell squats Sometimes I do squats with a trap bar , but I don't think just doing deadlifts alone would help me with my goals

@@daysoftheboo I can do a reaction video to my favorite teacher. But honestly the only exercise I think anyone needs is squatting but deadlift is a close second. Inner thigh is adductor, abductor is outer muscle.
