You are spot on about the whole water retention issues. I myself go through this, an its where it feels like everywhere in my body is just totally an completely inflammed and puffy. It is such an uncomfortable fricking feeling. The best way i can describe it is.. its like an itch that will not go away, an if you think about how uncomfortable you feel from the water logging it just makes it feel more intense an you feel like you are caring another 20 or 40 pounds on your body an you sure look like it too when you are that water logged.. its just a crappy feelin.
If you have correct walking gait. Then walking should unstiffen and relax the body. Otherwise your brain may have a contact issue with your teeth or one ear or eye may be stronger than the other. This will give distorted inputs to your brain and stiffen the body as protection. Why because the brain cant detect where its at in space and it gets scared and stiffens the body producing bad posture and leads to body aches and pain. Eventually it will lead to damage like joint problems and bunions.
I "celebrated" my 29th anniversary of a brain crushing NONSTOP headache on October 1st. It has ruined my entire life. Invisible pain is awful (not that visible pain is great) because people tend to not have compassion if you LOOK fine.
I had to stop taking magnesium supplements cause it made me pee out all my potassium and sodium and I could never retain my hydration, always peeing, it sucked! Pain was bad cause of it. I don’t think vegans need it cause it’s mostly to offset the high nitrogen of meat eating. I just eat raw greens now with my starches for magnesium. Feeling tons better now.💕
I’m sorry Ryan, did you ever have a hit to the head or a bump or a fall on the head? I am doing this glucose powder protocol that heals all that. It’s very healing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J7sG-ePM6Hw.htmlsi=Gp9IQuso4mP9h6iO
The coffee I've noticed with carnivore channels, But I've also noticed the same with vegan channels. I quit all caffeine on July 3rd of this year. Most people on planet earth have one or more coffee or caffeinated tea per day. It's insane. There's so many many reasons why caffeine is bad for you. And now there's the energy drinks, and chocolate too has caffeine. Anyways. I also decided no way is all raw good. I did it for close to three years back about a decade ago. I'm going towards rice with miso, and some fruit, and some 1% milk now. Thanks for putting yourself out there. I don't think I could do videos even if I had great success with something.
I have the book but it's been awhile since I read it. What I do remember is it read like an infomercial for rebounding claiming it cured everything but death and taxes. My own take on rebounding (I have Bellicon and Cellerciser) is that as an exercise, it is equivalent to jogging or rope jumping. It will strengthen the legs a bit (not like using those steamroller things at the gym) and it will lightly tone the entire body. Toning again similar to jogging or jumping rope. You wouldn't expect to bulge your biceps with either of those exercises. As to weight loss, depends on how much you do, and thus how many calories you burn. Main benefit is the movement of lymph and strengthening of bones although sadly I've seen articles saying it does neither of these. Final take, if you enjoy it, go for it. The more time you can put in the better the result, but don't expect any miracles.
exercise has little to do with the calories burned this is well known, it has more to do with how it changes how the body utilizes hormones, food, enzymes etc. How it cleans out the lymphatic system is also a huge part of it. What articles those created by pharma
@@highcarbregenerator perfect ambient ;) it's nice to see you film in different places, it's like you takes on some journey, even tho all your videos are good, I rewatch them to remind me.
Clearly what you're doing is not working in terms if weight loss, just accept laws of thermodynamics matter and eat whatever you like but ideally a diet balanced in macros and nutrients based around unprocessed foods with a caloric deficit.
It really is just a calorie in/ out game for weight loss. Stick to whatever version of food allows you to do that and feel good and sleep good. Calories are sneaky as f and just being off by 1-200 is the difference between loss and gain. You have to weigh everything that goes into your mouth. Legit weigh a serving of chips, oats, or coffee creamer. You'll be floored how far off you are. MyFitnessPal also doesn't take into account "carbs from fiber" and that's horseshit as well. I only use MFP to give me the macros and now track with my own sheet. With the combined above I thought I was at 2500 kCal. Turns out it was closer to 3100kCal. Loss is ezpz now.
For reference, as trying to navigate my journey. How much fat you eating now on the high carb, and also when on Keto how much fat did you eat. In the process of switching things up also.
I’m so happy you are telling your story cause I think a lot of people get inspired from the keto / carnivore diets (myself included) however I developed an auto immune disease and only got cured through Ayurveda. I think I have commented before so I don’t want to bother you too much with my story (however what I had was a heated liver, hot blood and a nervous system in overdrive) too much pitta from all the protein and too much vata from no carbs! Anyhow I was bedridden for 10 months! We are all different but if you care to understand more of how it’s all connected I have before never seen anyone on RU-vid talk about it so I had my knowledge and understanding from Ayurvedic textbooks (but recently I discovered Dr. Marianna Teitelbaum I think you would find some of her very short and very precise videos very interesting and informative - she has videos on liver, gallbladder, cholesterol, oestrogen (recycling) which causes cell growths (endometriosis, tumours, fibroids etc all due to gallbladder and liver problems) hair loss is a symptom of liver toxicity (hot liver) which many many ppl in the west suffers from due to our diets and toxic lifestyles…even detox isn’t effective until you cool the liver first (red meat is very heating) and most meats are very clogging to the channels (but so is hard cheeses and tofu and soy products and cheap impure vegetable oils))…anyways bottom line is that the reason so many feel good is because it’s an elimination diet but many will recycle oestrogen because that is what is stored in the fat cells and not having an effective liver and gallbladder is going to be a problem in filtering it out of the system. As are pharmaceuticals again a toxin and so the liver is a problem in almost any and every disease and we in the west have already a weak and hot liver. So add a carnivore lifestyle (with interrupted sleep - at least I had that on carnivore due to my nervous system going into overdrive!)…my guess is some ppl will handle it better then others depending on their constitution and body type and the state of their liver (as you mention). But especially really heavy ppl will have a problem not overloading their liver and their channels with the hot meat and all the toxins stored in their fat cells that get released very fast as they loose weight really rapidly! We think weight is an indicator for health but many normal or low BMI people are not healthy. And you can find some ppl with higher BMI that are kapha types that are perfectly healthy and have good health to their organs and arteries even though they are heavier and have high cholesterol. So it’s a gamble (which I experienced first hand) because we normal ppl and even our doctors aren’t educated enough and don’t truly understand how our organs, body composition, body imbalances, and our lifestyle and health is all connected! The danger ⚠️ is that many very unhealthy ppl attempt the carnivore diet and although they loose weight and reduce some inflammation because of it it’s not said that it’s a good long term strategy for them or any of us unless we look at all these factors! And you are already beginning to see people experiencing thyroid, sleep problems and not feeling super. And everyone out there that leads another person down a path of carnivore and keto and doesn’t advise on individuality has to carry the karma for the disease that individual is developing. Even fasting can spread toxins like wildfire if you don’t know the state of your body before you do it! The body has to be really strong and healthy and well functioning to get any benefits from fasting (I screwed up a lot of things from intermittent fasting and fasting in general!) luckily after I was healed I have become way more educated and conscious and I function so much better now in a body 10 kg heavier then before and my transition through menopause has been ok because I stopped those very extreme practices and focus now on building health and not depleting it!! However if you feel called I think it will benefit your work if you look into what dr. Marianna teitelbaum explains. Thank you that you dare to tell your story and prepare ppl that if they choose to do carnivore they might encounter problems down the line…Rikke Lack of lubrication is a problem for many vegans and because they don’t eat any dairy many deteriorate especially as they age and their brain function. The brain needs cholesterol which is why Ayurveda recommends cooking with ghee and drinking warm (boiled) milk…
I did keto years ago. Like many people I lost a bunch of weight. I got super excited about it because it was the opposite of what the medical system had been advising and it meant I could eat things that had been seen as something that should be limited. A bit like a diet rebellion. Like many people, I felt great for a while. But this is largely due to it being an elimination diet. However, after about a year, year and a half, my body simply rejected it. I can't describe it accurately but it got to the point where no matter what I ate, my body just didn't want it. I felt ill and it made me feel physically sick. It's not even like I was losing that much enthusiasm for it because I was still eager to continue on that path to avoid risking regaining the weight. I was fighting my body's cues really hard but it became unsustainable and I had to stop. I've been vegan for over 12 years now. Not primarily for health but ethically and I'm in decent shape and it's sustainable for me. In my opinion, from previous experience, raw vegan is similar in its sustainability to keto. There's plenty of room in a diet for raw plant food to boost health but I'd advise against making it the entire thing. All the best on your health journey. 🙂
Keto/carnivore is extreme. Vegan is extreme. I would do horrible on low carb/keto/carnivore. But I do great on normal balanced healthy diet of whole foods so starches, fruits, some lean meat. Basically around 60% of calories from carbs, 20% from fat and 20% from protein. Btw plenty ofp eople have kidney issues from high oxalate intake on vegan diet. Stuff like almonds, spinach, potatoes are LOADED with oxalates and can easily cause kidney stones, joint/spine degenerative issues etc..
The Technician guy, the one who commented in you other video who says that he's been zero carb carnivore for 7 years, has no clue what he's talking about. He thinks all carbs cause cancer and said a whole bunch of other crazy stuff.
I've noticed that the more I tell these people "I hate eating meat!! meat is disgusting and there's Nothing you can do to make meat taste good so leave me alone!! stop harassing me with that meat sheet!!" the more they push and push and push meat at me!! NO MEANS NO!!!!
You think meat doesn't taste or smell good? I haven't eaten any for a long time and have no desire to, but I would be lying if I said that it didn't smell or taste good. Pig products are a different story. Those smell and taste terrible, especially bacon which is the most disgusting.
@@jonathanr5184 the carnivore people always say stupid things like "oh you'll like the taste of meat you just have to XZ and Z when you cook it". AND I'M LIKE I DON'T CARE!! IT'S STILL ME NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO IT! Obviously carnivore people don't like the taste of meat either because at Walmart every time I go to the spice section to get my cinnamon I see a sheet load of spices sprinkles and magical things to make meat taste good but it still tastes like crap in my opinion, when my family members cook meat they put 1,00000000 of ingredients on the damn thing to make it edible, not to mention it looks like snot before you cook it
@daysoftheboo Do you think dairy is also just as nasty? I truly hate dairy and can't stand the way it looks and smells, especially cheese. No one hates dairy more than me. Dairy and meat together is even worse. I have no idea how anyone likes cheeseburgers or cheese steaks.
@@jonathanr5184 there's a RU-vid channel I think it's called Chocolate Rose, I'm sure that's her channel name her diet is chocolate and dairy, and as of right now oil I don't know how she it's like that but She says it works for her for 8 years It's insane to me, at least she doesn't eat meat she said she's never eaten meet her whole life but I can't live off dairy chocolate and oil alone LOL
Ryan, I know you mentioned you didn't want to get into your thoughts on vitamin D, but can you recommend a brand? Realized I've been slacking on supplementing it, and going to try out Life Extension's vegan D supp. Fingers crossed it's good! Also started looking into niacin's ability to increase insulin sensitivity and carb metabolism from a site you mentioned in a video; it seems to be helping already. Thanks!
@@highcarbregenerator I moved to Austria for work one year ago, had to. Not sure if it was a right move, but better to try it. My home is about 5 hours of drive, so it is not too bad. So the welcome is still on ;) How are you? Hope fam is all fine.
@@highcarbregenerator I live near Linz, it's manageable lol I don't like winter much....one day I will move somewhere where is warm and loads of good fruit. Glad to hear it, at least you aren't bored with the family :D my family is not normal either:D
Have you read "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes? Kerry from the channel, "HomeStead How" suffered suicidal depression prior to adopting the carnivore diet. Amanda from the channel, "Carnivorous Me" has lost an enormous amount of weight & has resolved a huge list of mental & physical ailments. As for your dad gaining weight eating fried foods, those foods are fried in seed oils. Dr Chris Knobbe explains that these are toxic & can cause obesity. Animal fat, on the other hand is nutritious & can give you all of the energy that you falsely think you require carbs for.
At 23:40 she says that she LOOSES weight when she eats LESS than her maintenance calories. So doesn’t this confirm that one should eat less to lose weight❓❓❓
Her comment at 23:40 negates everything else she said. Kindly know that we are all loving adults here trying to make sense of this information, so condescending comments whether someone comprehended the information is not welcome.
@@anigrace3073 That wasn't condescending, that was pointing out she told you why cico is now her thing and how dangerous it is to do prior to getting your body healed....
