I understand the safeguards for fda approved vs. compounds. However, I wouldn't say the fda always has our best intentions. They allow poison in our foods. So, there's that
I'm on 7.5 my weight is going down slow but I have been on Zepbound since February 2024 I did 2.5 and then 5 know I'm on 7.5 through all that time I have lost 34 lbs know I'm on Zepbound 7.5 the weight is going slow 1 lbs about every week I really don't want to lose to fast but the good part is it helps me with my Arthritis and swelling in my knee and also my Anxiety and so of my Depression that is a good thing I will take that for a win
I have binge eating disorder and am on semaglutide for weight loss (I'm not diabetic). When I started I had some appetite/craving suppression even on the starter .25 dose, and lost 15 lbs in 2 months. Third month I seemed to adjust to the drug and my appetite came back. Now I'm 5 months in and having no appetite suppression at all after two months on .5. I am getting ready to go to 1, but I am concerned about the possible systemic affects of the extra insulin production and lower glucose on someone who is not diabetic. I have recently experienced a few episodes of light-headedness and weakness which I think may be my blood sugar getting too low. I am also more and more fatigued. Maybe this drug is not for me?
Question: due to allergies to most anti-inflammatories, when I have dental work, I am prescribed Tylenol3- is that a problem while on GLP1 medication? Thank you.
I am glad to hear this. I did not see any real weight loss until after the first 8 weeks when I increased my dosage to 1.0. On the lower dose I only lost about 3lbs snd my doc told me I wasn't losing enough. I have now lost about 10lbs. I'm in my second week of 1.0 coumpound semaglutide.
I began ozempic 1 mg ( I had begun at 2.5 then .5 mg ) but I ended up in hospital for a broken leg and my surgeon didn’t want me to continue at this time until after surgery. My question is can I start up again at the 1mg strength or do I have to return to the lowest dose? I’m on ozempic for type two diabetes. It has been almost two weeks since my last dose, I will probably end up missing it for a total of 3 weeks. What is your opinion?
I took first Victoza, then Ozempic for over 5 years for type 2 diabetes. I stopped for 14 months now starting Mounjaro today. Endocrinologist told me early on that it takes about 5 weeks minimum for the drug to get out of your system. Have you discussed with your internist or endocrinologist?
I started with wegovy reach .50mg had symptoms now i switch to zepbound 2.5mg and no symptoms so far... i have a reduction in joint pains and also lost 6lbs on wegovy and now 3lbs on zepbound 2.5
