You look AMAZING girl. You inspired me to get my butt back in shape and since March I am down 19lbs. Definitely not easy nor fast but I just love how more energized I am and mentally feel better about myself and my life. Loved this video. Everything went downhill after I broke both of my ankles back in 2011. I wasn't a very active person up until that point but I did work out everyday (thanks to the extra PE classes). After I graduated, I just stopped trying to be active. In a 5 year span, my weight has fluctuated. I'm up 40 lbs from what I was back in 2011. I've been maintaining this weight for about 2 years now. But I really want to lose this weight before my college graduation (in about 2 years). This video really helped. I did purchase the scale. I'm going to try to not focus on a number.

You look Great Nitra. I'm on a lifstyle change as well. Don't be afraid of carbs, they give you energy. You should watch Jen Heward's RU-vid channel. I've learned a lot watching her.

wonderful job! I did the same thing except it took me being diagnosis with diabetes to make a lifestyle change. Your correct about taking small steps. i started just going to the gym twice a week..eliminated coffee "cold turkey" then the challenge was the holidays! The meds i was on wouldnt let me eat anything with grease and i only could eat very small meals..but in 9 months i lost 25lbs and my A1c went from 7.1 to 5.4..Yes i was happy! i went from a healthy (lol) 188 to 162! my motivation was a picture that was taken of me and my kids said i was shaped like a snowman with a chin...sound cruel but it was a reality check! i pray i will never get that high in weight again! Im so glad you decided to do this! Awesome accomplishment!☺tfs

Literally, the same thing happened to me, I graduated and I was a dance major, I stopped being active and I didn't realize how much weight I was gaining until I hit my heaviest weight!

I'm on MFP, for several years, and I don't find it's worked for me. After losing alot, over the past years I've gained it back and more. Depression, stress eating, sickness...ugh

That's like me I never noticed my weight gain I just went on the scales one day n was like oh :( I tried to lose weight from Jan to April n only lost 16 pounds was so disheartening

Ah this was so motivating.. Growing up I always struggled with weight but it wasn't bad until jr high I developed a very unhealthy relationship with food either eating too much of it for comfort or being afraid to eat it...after graduating from high school and stopping sports I gained 85 pounds.. Lately I e really been trying to workout and eating good... So far I've found that lap swimming for 40 minutes to an hour is something that I enjoy and so far have stuck with for a couple weeks.. I've thought about giving up cause it's starting to get hard and your video came in at the right time!

This is so inspirational for me. After having two kids i've went up from a size 1 to a size 10. I hate my body but I hate working out & I love food lol I over eat too but I hate being depressed over it so I need to do something!

I just love it when God looks out for me and people upload things that are relevant to my life. This was like watching myself. I had all those issues. Went to the gym 2x then 4x. I started the last week of May and I'm proud of my little 8 pound weight loss lol Thank you for the extra motivation. 😊💪

Diet Methods, which I managed to do, with weight loss results 30kg in 2 months from 90kg to 60kg (Height: 170cm) , 1. Eat 1500 Calories a day (female) = 1500/3 meals time (7 am-1pm-7pm) 2. Drink pure green tea (matcha powder) 10 grams a day ( 1hour before workout & before sleep) 2. Do Cardio workout 10 minutes every morning using the "Afterburn Effect" method , 30 sec workout, 15 sec rest 1. Burpee 2. Jumping Knee Tucks 3. Spidermans 4. Prone Cobras 5. In Place Sprints 6. High Knees 7. Mountain Climbers 8. Sixpack Swipes 9. In and Out Push-ups 10. Knee to Elbow Plank 11. 40 Double Pump Jumping Squat 12. Vitamin D deficiency is linked to polycystic ovarian syndrome. Might wanna get it checked out, just giving a heads up as I have it :) xx

I thought the same as it didn't show when they tested my blood, but I went for a scan like you would if you were pregnant and it showed up on the screen that I did have it! xxoxo

I had irregular periods and was finding it difficult to lose weight which led me to do research, linked with having a vitamin D deficiency, my doctor sent me to get an ultrasound. xo

+Nitraa B My periods are regular as well, but I have PCOS and endometriosis with ONLY the symptom of weight gain. My husband and I are TTC, and I didn't find out about the vitamin D and Iron deficiencies until I got a scan that revealed multiple tiny cysts on my ovaries. It's just a more in-depth panel you need drawn to find out. Great job, great vid!

The day I actually noticed I gained weight I was shocked! It's crazy how you don't notice the gain, but sure do notice when it's hard to lose. Great video.

To me 165 is not that heavy. try being at 197lbs which was my heaviest weight and now im at 180lbs.

A what I eat in a day vid would be great!! 😊 I get so easily bored when it comes to food so I need ideas! Plus watching what I eat is the HARDEST part for me! I actually love exercising and HATE not eating cookies and ice cream 😂😂😭 the eating clean part is the biggest challenge.

So sad :/ 1200 calories? It's unsustainable. Can you actually imagine just eat chicken and broccoli for the rest of your life? I've lost 65 lbs as a high carb low fat vegan.

So easy to gain weight! I find working out first thing in the morning is BEST! You get it over with and no excuses for later in the day when your tired from a long day.

great job! I lost 55 lbs in 2009 and have gained a little bit back but I am back on track. cardio, drinking plenty of water and eating clean works for me.

My aim is to lose 25 pounds in total over a three month period. So far Weight Loss Green Store Tea is working really well as an appetite suppressant as I no longer snack in between meals like I used too. When it comes to having my meals I find myself not finishing them which means I can start reducing my portion sizes.

Hey nitra! You look great!!!! I had a question about your vitamin D deficiency. I also have struggled losing weight and recently found out I also have low vitamin D! I heard you mention they gave you something for that? Is it a higher dose of vitamin D? My dr gave me 50,000mg of vitamin D and I'm terrified to take it read a lot of bad reviews! Just wondering if you have a similar medication and had any side effects?! Thanks

I also had/have to take that much because of my deficiency. It makes me feel extremely nauseas. It helps if you take them with high fat foods.

+B Dizzle headaches yes but mostly bc of the nausea and feeling of vomiting.. But definitely dont have it on a empty stomach - it lessens the side effects w food. Its also a fat soluble vitamin so again you need to eat a fattier meal with it for it to work as well! Reminds me i gotta get back on em, i been slacking lol

I'm so happy you posted this video! I'm 5'2, at 145. I want to be 120. I know that my stomach carries most of my weight. I've always had problems losing stomach fat. I just have a hard time putting down food! Your story is inspiring. Hopefully I'll be getting a trainer soon!

Congratulations! Thanks for this inspirational video. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and i don't do any heavy exercise but i do walk 40 mins every day. It helps me sleep better and i know it helps speed up labor too.

Maybe you didn't notice because, like me, you tent to weight your belly and your arms and legs looks just fine! I notice when I saw myself in the mirror naked that something was weird and also start the change. Thanks for your vid!

I'm also 4'11 and its superficial refreshing seeing someone my height and weight that I can relate too. Your story sounds so much like mine. It's so good seeing a youtuber who u connects too. I'm so use to seeing the super tiny petite girls or the small busted some waisted big butt girls. Thanks giving your story and showing you work hard not just sip skinny teas! Hi Nitraa I am a mom of 4 boys ages 6, 4 and twins who are 13months. I have been a subscriber of yours for a long time and last night you really inspired me. After having my twins I have been in a complete slump and depressed. After having kids your body changes and that is to be expected but having twins was a totally different story. I totally understand! My story is practically identical. But I'm a lot older than you and in my weight loss journey, now. I wish I'd done what you are doing when I was 26, twenty years ago. I'm now doing hip hop fitness 4 times a week. I have lost 50 lbs since February!!
