Basically to see if there was any difference between them. There isn't, really . All accurate and well engineered. BPK probably edges it when in scrub or bushes due to its length.
@@DAVEAFD So when you compare them side by side, is the trigger in the Bullpup worse (not as perfect as on the regular HW-100) or is there really no difference? I haven't heard any complains about it, but i can't imagine it to have just as good a trigger, when it's so much further away from the action.
@@gehtdianschasau8372 ,no difference between KT, BP or BPK with performance, action or anything else. All well engineered, accurate, consistent and easy to shoot.
Great review-well done guys! Love Weihrauch rifles and have two spring HW but my Daystate Renegade is probably thee most accurate rifle I’ve ever owned and without bragging I’ve owned quite a few PCP rifles. My HW spring rifles are keepers and my Renegade is staying with me forever!
Fair play calling out the FX, nice to see someone give some fair criticism. Great video, really not a fan of the looks of the Weihrauch but you cant knock them for quality.
Thank you John. I feel my comment is likely to cause me some problems. The HW100 is one of the best guns ever made. Thank you for taking the time to comment on the video!
Funny thing about the HW100bp is that it looks awful in pictures or on video but in person it looks just right. I've had one for three years now and wouldn't part with it but I know it's not a looker, even when compared with other "tactical" bullpups.
I don't know why they don't pull the action block far to the back to make it real bullpup, also to accommodate longer barrel and keeping the length as short as possible. HW should also move to using bottle and adding extra plenum and external adjustable power, this I believe will make it the best airgun ever made, considering that HW build quality and reliability is the top one.
I've had the hw100bp, I've got the hw110 in the kt and sporter, there's nothing to touch them for build quality and accuracy , the spingers as well in my opinion
I totally concur with your test results , I own ( well the Mrs owns the one ) two weirauchs , an HW100t .20 ( mine ) and the HW110 t laminate .177 ( mrs's ) also own two daystates ( both .177 ) the wolverine HR and the gorgeous MK4 mct ? in a left hand blue laminate stock by Simon brown ( sure it's Simon ) now that is a rifle , fits like the proverbial glove , cheek weld is fantastic the feel and balance is absolutely out of this world ( though standing shots are by far my worst ) ( matter of fact , I'll go further , there awful ) but the trigger is the stand out feature , just the best pure and simple , 40mtrs at the range , is 5p piece regular and at 50mtrs 2p piece at 60mtrs it duz start to spread to say 50p size groups ( sidewinder 6 x 24 x 56 ) ( there's no wind , it's sheltered in the woodland by the HFT course ) ... Now , here's the curve ball .. my BSA Goldstar SE puts both my daystates to shame , not by much , but nonetheless a noticeable amount over a testing session .. it truly is a most superb piece of kit , I can honestly say , down the range on a Sunday morning , it'll take allcomers on , redwolfs , the lot .. yes , the humble BSA .. ( I believe the hammer forged barrel used on the Goldstar , as opposed too the R10 goes through a more rigorous selection process ,) ... Must say though , love shooting my weirauch the best , so satisfying .. just feels right ..
You have an excellent collection of guns! I guess your BSA is a very special gun. I have used several and the best one I have ever used is a single shot .22 ultra. Thank you so much for taking the time to offer such a great comment, on this and several other of the videos. It really means a lot to me.
Best show so far lads ,renegade easy winner ,,to load the renegade easier ,where your mate holds his hand ,just cock the gun back with the left hand ,means his right hand stays by trigger ,and doesn't look all fiddly and clumsy ,keep it up lads ,that's if you survive the FX comments 😂
Thank you Mr. Smith. Yes, the Renegade is a fantastic gun, but the HW100 is as well.... And yes, the FX comment although real, was perhaps not the best idea. Thank you for your comment.
Great video and I’ve got the hw110, and it’s in .22, fantastic rifle, and I’ve got the fx crown mk2,and have no problem with the pellet magazine 🙏in .177,I class it as my Sunday rifle 🥴as I use the hw110 more 😂
Dr elphick, professor ballinger .....firstly you must stop your shooting table rocking as it moves your rest.....really interesting again.jsb exact for the bench mark is as it should be....so with the Bullpup keep that barrel constantly clean....the daystate is its own class......although I have a challenge for you! Should you accept I’d like to bring a scope of my choice, mount it to professor ballingers rm8 and have a 40 meter shoot off?????....good also to see as I do that fx isn’t be all and end all....I’ve had 2 in sub 12ftlb and will state not only is the daystate much better but so is the rm8...try bisley magnums through the hw100,I think your be surprised ...over and out.colonel fry.
I think the Pulsar is a superior gun to the Renegade. The electric action is world class.... I would not choose the renegade over the Pulsar if I had a choice.
Not publicly, but I am going on record here.... I have changed my mind. The Red Wolf is a superior gun. Although I like the renegade, the red wolf is one of the best guns available.
Yes you are correct the daystate is a little better group but is 400 pounds more expensive is just a shame you are very much leaning to daystate what is he a professor off
He isn't really a professor in the academic sense. It was just something that came out of my mouth during our first video and has stuck. It's also a little tip of the hat to the fact he is a better shot than me.
I see so many videos of people shooting air rifle these days, but why shooting from a stand for stability. I'm looking to buy a air rifle which is best for starting with, not spring
Why don't you people ever do real shooting - like, freehand? Like, real shooting. Why don't you just cast the gun in concrete and have done with it? These tests are pretty much meaningless, in my view. Walter Mittys. Sorry, but that's what I think. Conducting a test using a rest at 20m - 40m. What's the point?
For god's sake use a stable shooting platform!....and I can guarantee you my hw100s in .177 would out shoot that renegade...in fact without its preferred pellets shoots better groups than those..
