I watched your first video on this rifle and the first thing I noticed was the woodwork, it has a lovely stock and really nice grain . I’m a Weihrauch man through and through having two 95k’s in 22 and 177 and a 97 blue laminate and my little 99s which is my grab and shoot garden gun for the rats that appear from time to time and also a couple of hw100s in 177 and 22. Now I’ve seen these 35k’s and one just might make it’s way to join the rest. But I do like my springers though even more than my pcp’s it’s just more fun and not the worry of running out of air all you need is a pocket full of pellets and the gun and your set until your pellets run out just like we did back in the day before there was pcp’s.
I’m lucky to own a 1965 HW35, which still shoots fine. I can’t take my eyes off the HW90 at the moment though, may have to purchase one in the near future. Enjoying your Videos 👍
Nice shooting with open sights and great to see you having fun out in the field. The grain on the stock looks the best i have seen on a Weihrauch. Looks like a lovely gun and excellent value for money. I think i maybe talking myself into one of these! Great video as always. Thank you.
Hi, I picked up a thirty year old HW35 a couple of months ago in virtually new condition for £200-00, absolute bargain. My eyes are not too good so i fitted a Hawke Airmax 3-9 x 40 AO and it really makes the complete package. I fitted a Vortek tuning kit as someone had played about with the internals and it was vicious to fire. It is now about as sweet a rifle as you could lay your hands on.
Hello Paul, love a springer, love open sights, love your channel. You had me in stitches shooting the plastic bottles when the wind blew it over, then the camera focused on the grass, all in real time! 😅. I too have bad eyes, but can still get dangerously close with open sights, and they often look better without a scope. Cheers, Martin.
Mate I can’t even focus on the open sights 🥲 Have to say it sounds like Weihrauch have sprinkled some magic dust on those internals,it’s like a tuned rifle. Also the grain on that stock! My 35’s as plain as my dress sense.Good grouping by the way.
Firstly check it on a chronograph for shot consistency and power output. Then clean the barrel and chrono again.Thirdly try different pellets for accuracy.
Hello. Nice to see the new stock of the hw 35. Your rifle looks very beautiful. I have the hw 35 e earlier model. I would also like the new shaft, but I'm concerned that it's not so ergonomic as the old shaft. so do you find the new model is more comfortable to hold with the new swing in the shaft? Greetings from germany
